  1. Based on the promos, this very much seems like something that should have premiered mid-season. I'm not sure it will make it as a Fall show. Maybe Hillary Swank will draw people in
  2. I liked that Charles and the younger psychiatrist came to an understanding and mutual respect at the end, especially with her saying she's still figuring out how to trust her instincts and him saying it takes awhile but he trusts she'll get there and that he still has trouble with that sometimes. Unlike that smug young doctor who keeps messing around with Marcel
  3. Loved how much Melissa laughed during one of her interviews with the doc crew, though I forget why. I’m glad she finally relented on the aide
  4. Dex said in Wed’s episode that the security firm that Michael hired him from sent him into combat situations so he’s used to risking his life in answer to Michael’s concern. He sees the honor in stopping Sonny because he’s a bad guy. Plus the next guy Sonny targets may not survive. But he could be conning Michael as to who he is Michael should remember from Al Capone that sometimes it’s the small stuff that takes a mobster down, so RICO acts aren’t the only crimes to pay attention to
  5. Nina told Curtis that she’s working on making the Metro Court the site for the Nurse’s Ball next year. Here’s hoping
  6. At the same time, it makes me wonder if the contestant starts to falter if they don't see any chairs turn, especially by the end. It's got to be really awkward and hard for those contestants who don't get anyone to turn for them. As I said in my first post, I really couldn't understand why no one turned for The Little Miss (what a weird stage name for a solo performer). I felt the same way about another lady a previous night. I bet in these cases it's because the judges have nearly filled up their teams and they are being really choosy
  7. The DWM issue is out next Thursday, October 13. Seems a little early for a cover reveal, but Panini has it on their site now Panini website https://www.panini.co.uk/shp_gbr_en/blog/doctor-who-magazine-583/ ETA: Unfortunately, Panini has taken the image down, probably because the BBC complained
  8. Favorites of the night: Jillian Jordyn - really lovely voice Grace Bello - really liked her tone Other thoughts: Austin Montgomery definitely has a deep voice that is at odds with his looks, similar to Idol’s Scotty McCreery The Little Miss - She had a really lovely voice. I can’t understand why she didn’t get any chair turns
  9. I agree that making us think Esme is the Hooker is a red herring
  10. It sounds like we may get another preemption next week. A Jan 6 committee member indicated the next briefing will likely be next Thursday, but no time indicated for now
  11. Well, since SFX posted a couple of POTD pics on Twitter, here they are
  12. Liked best: Hillary Torchiana, sang “Easy On Me”, Blake turned, went with Blake Duo group The Marilynds, sang “What If I Never Get Over You”, John and Camila turned, chose John. They had a nice smooth sound Lana Love, sang “Candy”, John turned, went with John. She had a real lovely voice and showed a heck of a range Bodie, sang “You Found Me”, all 4 chairs turned, went with Blake. He had an unexpectedly nice range
  13. SFX Magazine will be out tomorrow with their latest issue that will include coverage of the POTD special. They’ve already teased a couple of pictures on Twitter
  14. The Blind Auditions continue October 3, 2022
  15. Why did Dave keep taking Grover with him every time Grover wanted something? He should have left him to watch the game at least some of the time Enjoyable, funny, chaotic episode. The back and forth between Calvin and Malcolm and Malcolm’s ticked off old girlfriend in the cars was pretty funny
  16. Really well done episode and unique for this show. That scene running through the grove with the music playing was top notch
  17. I don't entirely hate this. I like most of the singing, I'm somewhat intrigued by the mysteries and plots, but everything is heavily soapy and Susan Sarandon leaves a big hole to fill that's not being filled by the other actors. I'll see how it goes over the next several episodes as I think there's less than 13 episodes in this season (Wikipedia indicates 8)
