  1. I kept falling asleep during Vanuatu. But didn't she say that there was no refrigerator. Did she even have running water or electricity? Also it looked like she had to go up some pretty scary stairs to get to the bedroom. What in the hell would she do if she has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night? If she falls down and breaks her leg or worse she might wish that she has some friendly neighbors. A single woman out in the middle of no where. I'd love to know if she is still living there.
  2. Same with me, I have heard the expression God fearing woman or man.
  3. I'm with you on the use of the word "godly." I never heard that word until a few years ago. It seems to be popular with fundies. I think it is a stretch to compare or relate another human to God. And I am quite sure that Gil and Kelly have put this nonsense in their children's heads that they are godly and christian much more than their parents were. Addie didn't just come up with this off the top of her head.
  4. And in this thread I don't see where it is one sided. We go back and forth and in the end everyone has a right to voice their opinion.
  5. Or maybe she realized that she can't be friends with these people because they don't treat her like the princess that she thinks she is.
  6. Probably because all she heard was Addie describing Gil and her as godly christians. Anything said after that went in one ear and out the other.
  7. Her speech sounded fine to me a little shaky most likely from nerves. It was what she said that was awful not how she said it. Part of me wishes that Janie calls her up and reads her the riot act but another part of me hopes that Janie didn't hear the speech.
  8. Since Addie doesn't have a topic here I am posting on Gil and Kelly's thread. Reddit has Addie's graduation speech. I had to turn it off after the first few seconds. First off she was so nervous that she seemed about to burs into tears. Secondly she right off the bat made the comment that she was so lucky to have godly christian parents and that her parents didn't have this so much with their parents. What an awful thing to say. She and her parents should be ashamed that she would judge her grandparents and do so publicly like this because they do not ascribe to the narrow fundamentalist religion that she has been spoon fed. I have to wonder what Gil and Kelly thought about their young daughter saying this.
  9. No desire to go back and count votes. The Tori lovefest if there is one is not that important that I would spend time counting up votes and down votes. But hey if it is to you go ahead and let us know.
  10. Maybe we are reading different posts on Reddit. I was referring to the posts following the screen shot of Tori's explanation of setting boundaries. For every one in support of her I read just as many negative posts. She was getting skewered on Instagram for that post. Why do you think she took if down? I know that she has lots of supporters probably around her age sho think nothing of trashing their parents and using the threat of not seeing the grandchildren like Zach did when he said on cameral to Matt, what is it worth it to you to see your grandchildren when the farm negotiation went south. Adult children who use the grandchildren as weapons to hurt their parents because they didn't get what they want. So i hope they are happy with letting their children play in a drainage ditch and in a weed infested dirt back yard on their little "farm."
  11. Most of the posts that I read on Reddit were extremely critical of her for that Instagram post. She obviously knew that she had crossed the line because she took it down when the negative replies came flooding. in. As far as Matt going to see the grandchildren we saw how he was treated when he delivered Christmas gifts a few years ago. Tori refused to greet him and Zach did not invite to come into the house. So yeah Tori have your father in law who has multiple mobility and health issues travel over an hour to stand outside and be treated like an outcast. Oh and make it known that his partner of years is not welcome. She is not fooling anyone with that boundary crap.
  12. In all fairness we have no idea if Josie cooked or cleaned while she was there. We saw one picture of Michael cooking. I doubt seriously that Josie showed up and expected her grandmother to cook meals. We only see a small portion of what goes on when the grandchildren visit. Kelton also cooked all of the turkeys for the last Thanksgiving meal at the farm.
  13. She is still very bitter and mad about how the farm situation went down. Now she is lecturing her pod cast viewers and Instagram viewers. Telling them to stop with their negative posts . This won't bode well. She will drive off her supporters like she has alienated Matt. Zach should tell her to keep her big mouth shut. To me there is nothing at all appealing about Tori. Nothing!
  14. Yes it appears that she did. It was in her latest stories. After the pictures of Lylah. it was the 5th post and she was telling people to stop posting about how they were keeping the kids away from the grandparents and that they were free to visit them. And also she said that they have forgiven but they had to set boundaries. I think it was a reaction to all of the negative posts on the latest instagram where they are posting about the pod cast. I'm surprised that she hasn't deleted all of the negative comments or else the entire post. You can see it at Little People Big World Reddit.
  15. Anyone read Tori latest instagram post? Boy is she defensive about the negative comments they are receiving on her instagram about their treatment of "grandparents." You know what they say about the shoe fitting.
  16. I don't remember any either. I do remember chef Leon complaining about Kate being messy and never cleaning the cabin before she switched cabins. But I never remember a captain doing a cabin check. And this was on the last charter of the season. Or course their cabins were bound to be messy.
  17. Did she drop out of college? Savanah also started college last fall. I hope she is continuing her studies in college.
  18. It was for a belated mother's day dinner so she decided to dress like a 5 year old little girl.
  19. Alyssa looks ridiculous in that dress. I don't know who is designing dresses that look like little girl dresses for grown women but of all of the dumb trends this is the dumbest. My 14 year old granddaughter wouldn't wear something like this. Is she trying to revert back to her childhood when she didn't have fancy party dresses or do these fundie men get some kick out of their wives dressing like little girls? Or was she really going to a costume party and not to dinner? Check out how she dressed for the wedding where her girls were flower girls. She had on a floor length slinky gown while the other women at the wedding were wearing regular day dresses. She has no sense of how to dress appropriately for. her age or for the occasion.
  20. And the electricity for the lights? I guess they ran a line all the way down from the house??
  21. I really hope that Ava gets help from a reading specialist. She was 8 and in the third grade when this was filmed I think, and her reading level is so poor that I wonder how she was promoted to the third grade. I don't think just Danielle reading with her at night will solve the problem.
  22. I really enjoyed this episode. It is nice to see what can be done on a small budget of $50,000 and lots of volunteer labor rather than show renos costing $200,000 and above. I think they showed the total boat fee was $3,500. I thought the guest house turned out beautifully.
  23. He had to have heard this from Zach. Good luck Zach replacing Tori. I can't imagine anyone else putting up with your lazy self.
  24. I missed Jackson telling Tori that he was going to replace her. Why did he say that?
  25. Zach was the only child consistently working at the farm?? Wow I must have missed that. As to why Matt couldn't just divide up the farm and give each child a couple of acres to do with what they wanted Zach wanted more than a couple of acres. He wanted the big house and at least 16 acres at a fraction of what it was worth. Matt also stated that Oregon has rules about how a farm can be divided and how many houses can be on the land. Maybe Zach should have waited to get his share of the inheritance until Matt passed. That's the way most children do.
