  1. Welcome back, lurkers and posters! As someone had asked about reactions and "fixing" them, they seem to have reverted to what they were pre-update, except now, you will note the heart for "loving" a post is now blue rather than red. And the smiley dude for LOL is a bit different!
  2. *ADA turned Judge turned lawyer again Jamie Ross has entered the chat...* Yay for posting!
  3. Speaking of McDonald's, I read that its spinoff restaurant, CosMc's, has apparently opened in Brolingbrook, Illinois with more to follow in Texas. I guess the menu is more snackish - to compete with Starbucks, with juices, lemonades, some sort of Avacado Tomatillo sandwich, spicy tater tots, donut hole thingys, etc. I did read the spinoff joint will have all-day McMuffin breakfast sandwiches and soft ice cream. (Seen some reviews joking about the broken ice cream machines at McDonald's proper, so who knows how that will work out!) Will be interesting to see if this sticks and expands to the rest of the country...
  4. As I said before, I do wonder if that was scripted or improvised as VDO's really big smile after KE uttered the line made it appear that he was trying not to laugh!
  5. To add an addendum from my other post, apparently, from what I have read, Christina Perri was the singer that covered "Learning To Fly".
  6. Nothing says, "Merry Christmas/HappyHanukkah/Happy Holidays/Happy New Year!" like another gunfight! At least the tradition still goes on. Still remember some shootout around Easter a decade or so ago!
  7. David McCallum is included in this year's (well done, IMO!) edition of TCM Remembers. The song used is a cover of Tom Petty's "Learning To Fly". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-OggxFtRLE
  8. Never thought a Tom Petty song would be used for TCM Remembers, but it worked beautifully here. No idea who covered it, but I liked it. And it seems TCM used its current artistic style while meshing the earlier style of more lines of dialogue, etc., and together it really was terrific. Another beautiful tribute - but so many "big" names left us this year! (And those who were not as well known still got the respect due to them.)
  9. The 2023 edition of TCM Remembers was released today and, as expected, Matthew Perry was included (along with a lot of other big names). Set to a cover of "Learning To Fly" originally by Tom Petty; edited to add that apparently, the artist covering the song is Christina Perri:
  10. John is just a big-hearted softie, apparently.
  11. Too Much - Dave Matthews Band And a close, but not quite: It's All Too Much - The Beatles
  12. As of New Year's Day, January 1, 2024 (duh! 😋), yet another channel picks up the show. This time, it is BBC America. Per listings, it starts from the beginning at noon. (As nice as it is that another station is giving viewers another channel to see this, seems BBC America has strayed far from its initial premise. Another MTV situation, I guess!) Speaking of, it is on Charge! now.

    Barbie (2023)

Golden Dreams Barbie! I had her, too. And Pink 'n Pretty Barbie. (Yes, I remember the names!)
  14. Meh, as far as I'm concerned, Cassie deserved the way Mason treated her and more. She never did get caught out for her machinations. So *shrug*.
  15. The Charge! block must start earlier on Fridays. Once again, it began at 6:00 p.m. ET and - for whatever reason - runs until midnight Saturday.
  16. Which is why, when John Shea reappeared as H. Jack Walker's rich daddy in "Legacy" in S7, all I could hear in my head was, "EGG CUP" LOL! As an aside S4 is also on Charge! now, but the first episode, "Semi-Detached", with creepy Nelda Carson. And John Tagman is no doubt on the horizon. Ick. (Still wonder why VDO's credit picture in that one was different and changed to the one we got for the rest of the series post S3? I liked the one in "Semi-Deteched" more!) S4 sure upped the creep factor for much of said season!
  17. André Braugher's cause of death revealed.
  18. Rolling Stone remembers André Braugher.
  19. So long that I still remember WK/JE playing lovers on Days of Our Lives just before they became mother/son on General Hospital. Not gonna lie: It took me some time to stop being kinda squicked out. But they managed to overcome it for me! LOL!
