  1. The Gellers (which, I saw online is indeed with two e's, which makes me think of Ol' Yeller, and Phoebe learning about its less than happy ending - i.e. "What kind of a doggie snuff film IS THIS?!") were hilarious. I did like that Jack/Judy still seemed very much in love, even if I'm like Monica at Ross' wedding to Emily and didn't need to actually see it. LOL! But of the two, I think Jack was a slightly better parent, at least to Monica. I remember how he came to the apartment after Monica's split with Richard and kept her company...
  2. This episode should have been burned.
  3. André Braugher was a master class in acting. The episode where Frank has his stroke still sends chills down my spine. And his work in the episode, "The Subway", with Vincent D'Onofrio was also fantastic. I'm in shock. Sixty-one is too young to go. May he rest in peace.
  4. *Runs away screaming as it loops in my head again and again and...*
  5. And this is the version of Santa getting stuck in a chimney that I have heard.
  6. TV Line has posted the Ultimate Friends Gift Guide, many items I never even knew existed! Take a peek.
  7. Since Lance Brody's crimes were indeed based upon hate, I'm also guessing it's why Charge! decided to place the content warning.
  8. Especially since, as I pointed out prior, City Island was mentioned in "Lady's Man" in Season 8 when Alex told Bobby it was where she had honeymooned with Joe. But then, also as I said, the show seemed to go back and forth with aliases versus real names. The early seasons used New York Ledger as a front for New York Post, but the latter was mentioned in some very late-season episode I don't recall now. So... *shrug* And "Happy Family" is the last of the marathon on Charge! as I type, and Paula Connors is still such a nasty piece of work here. No wonder Jason was so messed up and killed his father!
  9. I will agree that Carter was not a good teacher in any way. At the same time, however, it is probably difficult to teach a student that also thinks they know more than they do - and outright lies about it (as Lucy had done on one occasion). So, both were annoying in their storyline together, and I wasn't sad to see the back of Lucy Knight. And I will forever side with Noah Wyle as far as trying to pair Lucy and Carter. Students dating their teachers is never a good look, and after deftly handing Carter's very early S1 crush on Susan Lewis (when he tried to kiss her at Christmas; S8 - whether it worked or not - seemed different because they were on more equal footing professionally!), it disappointed me that the writers for Lucy/Carter thought romance would be suddenly A-OK, as a teacher has influence/power over said students. Just no all around.
  10. You're absolutely right. Why I put Kelmer instead of Bonham mystifies me. I blame holiday stress! Meh. The rest of the post stands. 😋
  11. I actually like Steve remembering Marcus. He was as much family to Steve as Jack and Adrienne. And like Xander/Sarah. See? I can be positive (at least for the holidays, my gift to all of you! LOL!)!
  12. I hear you about facing mortality. My mom died in 2018, and it got me to thinking. Granted, I am only 51 now, but still. But I admire your stance on enjoyment and moderation! I hope the remainder of Hanukkah is happy for you, @Bronx Babe! Topic: The more these movies air, the more they all seem to just blend together for me, but they are still useful when one wants to just turn their brain off.
  13. Happy Hanukkah to you and all who celebrate! No matter the holiday, feasting is a must for every holiday celebration! 😊
  14. Rest in peace, Ryan O'Neal (Max Brennan).
  15. Yeah, I can only watch "Untethered" to a point, myself...
  16. I do enjoy "Best Defense" to see Peter Kelmer get his butt handed to him by G/E, the arrogant tool. And "See Me" since it managed to once more give a bit more dimension as far as Bobby went. And "Dead", which we have often discussed. My wording may have been too harsh, as those are great episodes. Still, overall, even so, I still think S1 and S3 beat S2. But it's all just preference!
  17. Also, the Charge! evening block starts at 6 tonight going until 9. Why the change, not sure. Some episodes are also airing tomorrow beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. ET Sunday morning.
  18. A three-episode block is on Sundance, starting now with "Offense". Edited for proper episode title!
  19. Just make him Roman Brady again and say fuck it. (Josh Taylor's character can be a brainwashed Chris Kositcheck.) Yes, that means Brady committed incest and spawned with his own cousin [but his name would NOT be Brady Brady, since Black is on his birth certificate, so one issue down! LOL!]. Ditto Shawn and Belle. But hey, this whole show is a clusterfuck of epic proportions now, anyway, so what's one more insane plot angle?
  20. Excellent point about the hitwoman, and a big loose thread. Especially when you consider that Eloise was the daughter of a once-presidential hopeful. For that alone - right or wrong [because EVERYONE deserves such attention to detail, not just the few!] - more effort would have realistically been put into finding that person and prosecuting! And I will be unpopular: As much as I love S1 and S3 is good, S2 is actually one of my least-favorite of the early seasons due to this episode and the whole Nicole/anthrax angle that begins in "Zoonotic" and then weighs down the death of the military nurse in "A Person of Interest", even if I do like the scene of G/E once Bobby realizes that he let his arrogance get in the way. That final S2 episode still could have been good without Nicole popping up like an unwanted weed in a flower garden. Especially since she never pays.
  21. While the actor playing Spencer Durning's son was quite good and heartbreaking, as I have said prior, I really don't care much for "Cold Comfort", which is airing now on Charge!. Probably because of the fantastical plot point of someone "recovering" from Alzheimer's and...no. The writers probably could not think of another angle as to why the Senator's brain would warrant theft to study it, but this plot point really offends me. As much as I wish that it were possible to recover from dementia/Alzheimer's, it isn't, and such a fictitious bent seems like an aberration, since the franchise usually at least tried to stay within the realm of reality, more or less.
  22. Of note, Season 4 is listed to premiere on January 18, 2024. No title or description as of yet.
