  1. That 'carcass' case was so sad. I'm surprised the P.'s mother didn't get hurt in some of the fights, because she looked so fragile. Today's case with the Pit Bull breeding was absurd. I love how the P. lost big time, and she's lucky Byrd didn't put her in a head lock and beat her bloody with JJ's fly swatter when she kept interrupting. And what the heck is "an AKC registered Service Dog", that the plaintiff told the D. that her dog was "AKC registered". Pit Bulls aren't AKC, but UKC registration, and some others that are very easy to call anything registered. How lovely that the defendant can now go home and churn out six litters a year out of his females, and increase the number of poorly bred, unregistered, non-health tested puppies. The dog bite case was infuriating. I'm glad the plaintiff got $5k for the dog assault, and I can't believe the defendant was so cavalier about some poor child being bitten by the same dog. The authorities where the defendant live need to keep close track of him and his dog, because I can't believe that there are only two attacks, and one wasn't even an issue to the defendant. I hate that some poor kid was bitten, and probably afraid of dogs for life because of that idiot, and his vicious dog. By the way, I looked at the AKC website, and the only registry of any kind of non-show dog, is a therapy dog registry, and I'm betting an intact dog doesn't qualify, especially an intact pit bull. I wonder how many other litters the plaintiff's dog has produced? The plaintiff and the defendant were certainly two of a kind.
  2. A long time ago, I knew two people who sold Tupperware, and they earned enough profit to win big awards from the company, and became regional distributors. They did very well for a few years. Some of the other people I knew that did MLM put everything into the business (Nu Skin I think it was-expensive skin care), and tried to rope everyone they knew into being sales people for them, and within a couple of years they lost every penney, including money they controlled for the grandchildren's needs later. One man I knew sold Amway while in college, and made so much money, he bought a brand new Corvette for cash. Everyone else I know has very quickly run out of friends, and acquaintances to hit up for sales or to have parties, and lost everything they put into it. As others said, the secret is to have a big network of potential customers, and then get people to go to work for you, and then you might make it big.
  3. My guess is that the film crew edits after they know who gets cut at finals, and during the season. That way they show the scenes that illustrate their point of view.
  4. My guess is that a lot of people fell out of turns, but notice the most film time was on VK? My bet is that the film crew, and editors are sick of VK, and showed every flaw. A rule on reality TV is don't irritate the TV people, or you'll be sorry. Keyra's taunting of the rookies was just over the top, and mean. I really love Marshall. I wish they had an entire hour or more of the makeovers, and I hope he did something with Brennan's hair color. Her hair looked too blonde, at least on my TV, and I think a little change could make a huge difference. Overall, I liked the solos, but I think a few moments must have been added after Kitty saw the routines. I don't think twerking is on her list of favorite dance moves for America's Sweethearts.
  5. Classic moment today in the rerun about the bride suing the dry cleaner who cleaned her wedding gown, and it had damage, and the chest area shrank five inches or so. When the judge had the bride put on the original gown, everywhere fit except the chest, and Judge Marilyn asked her "did you get a boob job?" I thought the bailiff was going to fall over laughing. And by the way, if that woman said she didn't enhance anything surgically, then my eyes are deceiving me. I think that's the reason that bride didn't get any money, because she lied. Also, since when are breasts the only thing that get way bigger but you claim you haven't had surgery or gained a lot of weight, and they were awfully perky too.
  6. I bet the popcorn lady knows exactly where it went. Her fake shock at the amount of missing money was very telling to me. If someone told me that a business I owned had 'lost' $400k, they'd have to revive me.
  7. I wonder if it's some digestive problem, like irritable bowel, or gallstones. I was thinking digestive issues because of the stress of running the kids and house, the cycling studio, filming schedule, the upcoming appointment and possible surgery for Hazel, the trips this season, and the financial pressures of everything can't be easy even with money from the TV show. I think they said on the show that Dale and Kiki live in the same subdivision as the Busbys, so I they can drop in when they have an event, and I'm sure that's why they are on the show so often. They did mention Nick and Ashley (I hope I'm getting the right wife with the right husband), have a new house, so I'm wondering if they moved to that subdivision too? The fact that it was well above the horrible flooding from Hurricane Harvey would certainly be a great factor in buying there, and I love the houses in their area. I was wondering if it's some kind of female problem resulting from the fertility drugs maybe triggering some imbalance. I hope whatever it turned out to be, that it's easily treated, and she's back to 100%.
  8. My guess is that successful patients will have multiple skin removals, and there is simply no good way to take off so much excess skin, and fatty growths, and have the skin hold together without the giant stitches. I wonder if any plastic surgery teaching programs would be interested in doing the skin removals as a part of the doctors' training, and the costs for the patients would be covered by insurance that way? I have heard from people who considered WLS that they only get the front stomach/abdomen apron removal covered by insurance if it reaches the top of the thighs or more, and some of the patients on here certainly qualify for that. However, other skin removals wouldn't be covered by insurance, because flappy arms aren't a medical issue to insurance companies.
  9. I wonder if this was the last season, since suddenly they pulled the last two update shows, and are doing reruns all of the time now? I wonder if two deaths this season (Robert and LB James) were simply the last straw. I bet that's why the season was so long, and seemed to be a wrap up.
