  1. Guys, you're thinking small. Obviously another rift will open and provide them with alien manufactured solar flying bicycles. And a new alien member of the team named Smitty.
  2. LilyD thats also true but its been my experience that someone always draws the short stick in these things. The only fair way to do it is to sell the property to strangers, and or set the expectation that no one is inheriting anything.
  3. Oh agreed. I personally don't expect Matt to NOT make a profit on the sale of the land to any of the kids. But I can understand some anger over "I was fair and generous in buying from your mom for 987k and now you will be fair and generous in buying the same piece of property one year later for 1.3 M" - thats a significant hike. Particularly when Matt has publically thrown down the guilt card of "why won't my children step up and take on the family business" on numerous occasions. My own thought is that the number was likely higher than 1.3 - It is noticeable that Zach and Tory comfortably bought a 1 million dollar property. I don't feel like they were out to cheat Matt out of fair value. But it does go both ways. Matt has been dangling the farm over the kids heads for years, complete with public whining how no one will step up. In a family, it isn't "DAD IS GOD AND EVERYONE DOES AS DAD WANTS WE EXIST ONLY FOR THE FATHER HIS WANTS AND NEEDS ARE EVERYTHING AND OURS ARE NOTHING" - if he genuinely wants one of the kids to take over the farm, its on him to bend a little as well, instead of playing public blame games over how awful it is that his kids won't do as he wants. Personally I don't thin Roloff Farms is an easy sell to a non family member. My vibe on Matt is that he will over price without understanding that the pumpkin season business isn't worth much to a non Roloff who won't attract crowds because of a tv show. I also think ZiT are better off not getting the farm because the farm is Matt's endless drama.
  4. The show is a job. It pays pretty well, because Zach was home buying at 22, and the home he bought with Tory was worth a half million when he bought it. He clearly did - its been discussed openly in this thread including links to his new 1 million dollar piece of property - two acres -there's even photos of him piddling about on small smal equipment on his place. Zach is obviously being paid pretty well to do the show. Matt bought Amy's half of the big house property for what? 967K? If Matt was willing to sell Amy's half at all (I doubt he's willing to sell) then we know, because Zach DID buy a 1 million dollar piece of property, that even if Matt was pricing a little high - say 1.1 million for the half to make a profit - it shouldn't have been a problem. Now I am sure we'll never hear the numbers, but if the sale price to Zach was significantly higher than what Zach knows Matt bought it from Amy for, I can understand some of Zach's anger. Some - I am not against Matt selling for a profit, but if Matt's pricing it significantly higher, I can get why that feels like a slap in the face especially when Matt goes on and on how he's tired and his tired bones long for sun and why won't one of his sons step up etc etc etc. That would galling to listen to when Zach knows Matt publicly prided himself on offering Amy "a fair price" for her share of the farm, but a year later was demanding a significantly higher price for the same property from Zach.
  5. Yeah, I admit I was kind of surprised that her clearly well into puberty boyfriend was interested in a girl who really didn't look like a woman yet.
  6. I'm wavering on whether the baby is lp or not. I saw some pictures on Instagram where his hands had a similar look to Jackson's but then I see this picture and that looks like a long legged proportional kid. I feel my bets are unstable!
  7. Honestly, if no responsible adult has insisted on a DNA test at this point, they all deserve the mess it will create. If nothing else, Grace seems too practical to not insist on a verifying test Yeah, I could see a wife being concerned that in the husband's final dying moments that someone not in the family like the son from the first wife she'd never met just might spew some bitterness . I actually found it more odd that brother Robert was so open to putting his dad thru that possibility, but he might have gotten a better read on Owen's state of mind. But the wife's reaction to Owen was where I was like "oh, so you WERE better off, Owen". For the record, a major implausibility to me was that Robert and Owen looked like brothers with a reasonable age gap, not Owen at least 14 years older. But I appreciated seeing Chad Lowe.
  8. Maybe but its also a religious name and Tory and Zach are religious. The Bible predates the Duggars by a bit.
  9. The positive I will grant is that the supervisor wasn't taking her shit or her version of what went down.
  10. She doesn't look pissed off to me.
  11. Limb length as well- thats why its hard to tell with the baby wrapped up. Short arms and legs are the big sign, and the big head too. Looking at this picture, I think he's average height but I'm not a doctor.
  12. I mean, I don't think Ruth was the worst in murdering others but from a fairness standard..... Javi killed Wyatt over business, at the end of the day. Ruth killed Javi for killing her family member Camilla killed Ruth for... killing her family member. If you're going to kill in revenge, that same thing can easily happen to you.
  13. Its hard to tell with him so wrapped up but I lean towards not lp. Shall we bet? :)
  14. So, also not sorry that Claudette ain't coming back, but I have to give the actress credit for playing a repellent character so well. With the situation with rerouting the chase people - the thing May got mad about - if that had been reversed, Claudette would have been on her and reporting her to a supervisor for taking credit for the idea. I was also rolling my eyes at Claudette referencing May as a "new" employee when May has been working there for close to two years. An aside - my workplace has a "relax room" and its not used to let two squabbling teammates bitch at each other, you go there when you need a "tap out" because a customer has upset you or unloaded a lot of vile racism on you, and you need a quiet break. While I think its fairly obvious that Monday is indeed an Angel of Death serial murderer, the previews look pretty ham handed and Hen's straight up hostility towards him from the get go won't help
  15. I'm no rap fan myself but Ruth was clearly established as a fan of rap back in season one
  16. I might rewatch because I remember thinking that too
  17. I'm really pretty certain this was on my bedroom wall.
  18. Yeah, I was like "Um no, Rob Lowe, you were not 13 the same year I was 13 and you were just one year away from being in St. Elmo's Fire as a college student".
  19. Kind of late for him to be out and about dealing with his Poplar properties - its implied that its evening, after the dinner hour as people are arriving for church service at the Robinsons. And Matthew has a little child at home. He's working in a not so great part of London on a Saturday night with his kid home with the nanny? I mean, I get it, he's on the main cast, thats why we see Reggie all the time despite how he was placed in that really nice farming community for people with special needs because he couldn't live independently and the Buckles couldn't keep an eye on him but yeah, a better reason would have been nice.
  20. Agreed and for the record I have absolutely no problem with that but even now the Anglican Church, while allowing some exceptions, is somewhat anti-abortion. I buy everyone secretly being yay! and the midwives openly being yay! but I wasn't expecting the nuns to be yay!
  21. I found the attitude on birth control a little schizophrenic. Everyone seemed pretty "Yay! Abortion is legal!" when previously this seemed a bit of a argument between the nuns and midwives. And just a couple years earlier, giving out birth control pills was a huge debate and now they're sending Sr. Frances to get the fifteen year old single mom an IUD? I know they said that but the standing in the doorway eyes open not responding didn't look "sleepy" - it looked like something weird was happening. And he didn't seem to fall asleep in the train, his eyes were rolling back and he was twitching. That and his earlier complaint that it was getting worse makes me think it wasn't entirely just exhaustion.
  22. It looked like a seizure. Earlier, when Sr Hilda was visiting and spotted him in the doorway staring off into space and unresponsive, he seemed to be having a petite mal seizure
  23. This really shouldn't have been cut as I was like, the Corbetts? These people look Indian why are they called the Corbetts???
  24. Also as soon as the Doctor Who music played I knew some bad shit was going down :(
