I'm sort of on the train with you. I wasn't watching at the time but wasn't Andre a serial killer? At one time even Marlena was a serial killer! (I know they weren't "really" dead but she still committed some pretty brutal murders.) No one ran screaming or hit them with a frying pan every time they entered a room. If they can be redeemed why can't Ben - especially since he is showing actual remorse - not "oopsy Stefano made me do it." Add that to the fact that the list of people who haven't killed someone (or at least tried real hard) is probably far shorter than the list of those who have and I don't really get it. I'm not saying it should be hand waved away (even though every one else's is) I'm just saying give the guy a chance.

Except he knows Nicole will never actually spend that money of food and shelter for May. She will simply spend it on whatever she wants for herself. He also knows Robbalee will never let May be hungry or homeless (not that I'm saying she should, May is an innocent child.) If she wasn't sending the money to Azan she would be sending it to another guy somewhere. If she really wanted to give May a better life or she would have already spent it on her.

Azan knows that Nicole and May will never end up in the streets. He has probably also figured out that if it wasn't him, it would be some other scammer so it may as well be him. He knows darn well that Nicole will NEVER use the money to improve May's life. If she's going to waste it anyway, he figures his family should get it. After all, they put up with her for at least 90 days!

When I was watching them at the hall, and Azan was acting all surprised by the cost, all I could think was, he should have already known all the costs if Wafa had actually been planning a wedding in the first place! Nicole is the perfect mark. Telling him exactly how much money she has so he knows exactly how much something should cost. I think another poster mentioned in a previous thread that they were paying between $55 and $60 a month for that apartment. They have now gotten several years rent - or possibly and entire years living expenses for all of them in one fell swoop. This gives Azan lots of breathing room to figure out a way to get Nicole to continue sending money for "the shop" or do damage control on all the other marks sending him money. I do have to say the while I would only wear Lularoe at gunpoint Nicole did look markedly better this time around. Everything was decently fitting - not like the skin tight jeans of the previous visit. No obvious pants - longer dresses with leggings or tights underneath - no exposed skin. I found it interesting that even when they were sitting around his family's apartment she was still dressed the same way. No "sexy" previews of what he would get once they were married.

Abby didn't kill Andre on purpose but she WAS going to murder Marlena, Kate and Vivian on purpose. And yes, she knew exactly what she was doing. If you are going to accept that Abby can be "cured" than you also have to accept that Ben can be cured.

It's not just the hypocrisy it's the STUPIDITY! Literally, minutes after being reminded by Ted of her tendency to "create" evidence, Hope wants to drive to the cabin and somehow find evidence the entire forensic team missed. This is a woman who has vowed to anyone who will listen that she has already convicted Ben and will do WHATEVER it takes to keep him in jail. It never even occurs to her that any evidence she found would immediately be suspect. She simply assumes everyone will believe her because she is such a good person. And yeah, Abby goes bat-shit crazy, gets some half-assed therapy from grandma, relapses big-time and then gets even less half-assed therapy from grandma. I guess they figured since it didn't actually take the first time, less of it would be better. While we all knew they wouldn't actually let Marlena, Kate, and Vivian die, if Abby had succeeded, her body count would have been higher than Ben's. But she didn't even need to have a second opinion like Ben did - everyone just agrees she is cured - cause grandma said so. And while I am 100% team Gabi, I don't really have hope that she will really be able to cause serious, long-term misery. This is going to blow up in her face. This is probably why I have high hopes for Ted (I know the writers will screw this up but in the meantime, I can dream.) He has no ret-con ties to anyone a la Deimos and Stephan. Hopefully, he is simply a really good villain that can actually wreak havoc.

Today, when Kate was issuing ultimatums he was very calmly going, "OK, see ya" knowing damn well Kate would cave. I could be WAY off base here but I keep hoping Ted is a sign that the writing for this show is going to get better. He's pretty much called out every single person he's come in to contact with. Eve, you married men for money and scammed them. Brady, you have a history of drug abuse just as bad (if not worse) than Theresa's. Also, you have a history of going on the run with children and setting people up for crimes they did not commit. Rafe and Hope - you have a LONG history of not only covering up crimes, but planting evidence to frame someone else. (Love Rafe's blustery "Accusations against the commissioner are treated very seriously" while her daughter gets to hear what a stand up person Mom is.) Is he here to expose the dark underbelly of Salem so that people can all stop riding around on their very high horses and start interacting like normal people again? If so, would love to see a few more revelations!

No, he could not send money before they got married because he didn't have any. Family Chantel insisted he sign one BEFORE the wedding - not after - so the amount he was sending wasn't an issue. They were the ones who insisted that what was hers was hers - apparently they're just pissed he thought it should go both ways.

I'm not sure you need a green card to drive as long as you have a valid driver's license in your home country. How is it any different than if you went to another country on vacation and rented a car? Foreigners can still come here and drive legally.

I think Rafe was simply lying. Have they really kept him sitting in that room long enough for forensics to go to the cabin, gather evidence, analyze that evidence, and file a written report? It was probably fill a file folder with random grocery lists and pretend you are reading a report.

Hi All, Longtime lurker, first time posting in this thread. Amazingly, the ONLY one who showed Theresa any sympathy (not counting JJ, of course) was Brady! Eve was all, Sure I'm sorry, but leave the kid! The only one I really care about is Brady so I'm going to do whatever I need to do to guilt you in to leaving the kid. She showed no compassion to the fact that it might make Kimberly happy to see her grandson which would, in turn, make it much easier on her father. Even though she professed to love Theresa she was showing her no compassion either. Go, be a nursemaid - who cares if you miss your son. I agree with everyone here who thinks Rafe and Hope are the worst! How long can they hold him in that room with no evidence? I know time is wonky on DAYS but isn't at least the next day since they put him in there?

Yes, both mother and sister Azan cannot possibly be in the dark about where Azan gets his cash - I agree there were several other women sending it as well. It was probably a major "OOOOH SHIT" when Nicole said she was actually coming over to get married. They could have been talking on the phone with Auntie Azan, or someone else, hung up, and said "Oh I just booked a hall!"

Hi all, Longtime lurker (since TWOP days) first time poster. Apparently, you are all WAY more trusting than I am. When Nicole kept talking about how Mother Azan and Sister Azan were making all the arrangements, I kept wondering why she never mentioned being taken to the dressmaker for all the other dresses she talked about when buying the boobalicious white horror. And when they said they spent 6 MILLION dollars my little accounting brain went ping! I looked up the conversion rate - it is only about 10 to 1 so they would have had to spend the equivalent of 6 hundred thousand American dollars! I'm convinced Azan told them this wedding was not going to go off (as I agree with several other posters that the e-mail denying the K1 was a scam) so they simply pretended to go along with it and make arrangements. I think they simply made up a number that sounded reasonable - hoping Nicole's family would feel bad and offer to help with expenses.
