Good on Jana for clearing things up herself. TBH I think she could have done this a lot sooner and saved a lot of speculation and rumours.

I was shocked that Danny didn't find the idol -- the lingering camera shot and sudden cut away just seemed like that kind of an edit. I still don't like Ricard. Basically at this point I'm rooting for anyone but Ricard. First choice would be Erika or Xander. This episode seemed a bit... boring after the last two blindsides.

I mentioned in last night's episode thread, but the full term is BIPOC for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (basically everyone else lumped together). It does bother me that the term is broad enough that it excludes other POC when used to speak about a certain part of POC (in this case, black) WHILE SITTING IN FRONT OF OTHER POC (Erika is Filipino, I think Ricard is Hispanic? Naseer, etc). One of those weird terms that is meant to be inclusive but... actually isn't at all.

Yessss, evil witch #2 is gone! Liana may have redeemed herself slightly for some with her rather moving speech at TC, but it was too little too late. Doesn't excuse being an asshole to people. Seeing them ALL pop up in this season makes me if that's just a coincidence...

Christian addressed this in his quarantine interview, actually. He said that Gabby knew from the beginning that he was in a serious relationship and I believe she was also in a long-term relationship. They were both unhappy with how the audience seemed to "ship" them based on what they saw in the episodes.

Maybe it's a reward and immunity combined challenge, and whoever wins gets to go off-island to a resort or whatever and doesn't get to go to tribal council at all? Therefore no chance to strategize and everyone else has to scramble without being able to rely on the winner's vote.

Most satisfying vote out since Wentworth idoled out Savage in Second Chance.

My mom and I were cheering SO LOUDLY when Shan finally got voted out. She played just as snakelike as the rest of them. I still don’t like Liana or Richard but I feel like Erika and Xander aren’t likely to go to the end.

Well this episode was faithful to the anime origin in the case that IT WAS TERRIFYING. I hate clowns.
