  1. Missy and Elizabeth just tweeted statements within minutes of one another.
  2. They've done similar ones since where Jeff tells a story and then there's some challenge where they have to answer questions based off of it. Most recently I remember vaguely a course where they had to run to urns and take a charm from the urn with the correct answer to the question.
  3. Finsihed these episodes and god I wish there were more. The manga artist in Ep 3 was so precious, and hearing her and her mother break down those walls was painful and a bit difficult to watch. There really is a cultural difference in that the Japanese are so much more reserved with their feelings, and they don't say "I love you" like we do. There are like five different ways to express various levels of love but it's definitely not the same as it is here. So her mother saying "Aishiteru" which is the most absolute way of saying it was lovely. I loved that her mother and sister were actually pretty advanced with their English and had fun with the guys as well. Makoto was absolutely adorable, and his wife was so cute too. I was absolutely terrified that when Karamo had them sit down after yoga, that she was going to say she didn't love him and it was going to go to shit. I know we only get to see a very condensed version of the time the Fab 5 spend with the heroes, and it's always been my only quibble throughout all four seasons plus these -- I want more!
  4. Discussion for the new miniseries (4 episodes) that were released November 1 2019. Yoko is precious and made me cry. I love her. Their temporary Japan guide is a little bit over the top but she has good chemistry with them and obviously they need someone fluent with them to make things easier. I really like the editing of the series overall, where they cut out the translation of English to Japanese before having the Japanese response. It really tricks your mind into thinking that they're having a conversation in real-time, and keeps the pace entertaining.
  5. Ah yes, I've seen that one too -- it's a very dark and depressing sort of series, but his acting was very good in it.
  6. Miranda was my intro to Tom (and Miranda, and Sarah, and the entire cast I adore) and it's definitely my favourite thing he's done. But Lucifer is a close second. He was also on Catherine Tate's old sketch show when he was even younger. And he was in a couple episodes of Doctor Who during Series 3.
  7. UGHHHH. Two of my three early favourites are gone. But what a dummy for not playing his idol.
  8. Damn, Molly was an early fave of mine (along with Vince and Elaine from the other tribe) so this was a painful loss for me so early in the game. She's definitely a threat so it makes sense, but I found her entertaining af.
  9. I have always loved Boston Rob, and I'm glad to see him back on the show. Also I'm digging that silver fox look.
  10. Harvey said to Donna "We can do it again for our families" when he proposed, so I think they'll have a proper wedding in the future.
  11. that finale was cheesy, tropey, ridiculous, and pulled out every cliche in the book. and i loved every moment of it.
  12. I don't think it's meant to parody a specific song, but it definitely has a Britney Spears vibe. Or insert any reality TV star that decided to pick up a singing career, like Paris Hilton.
  13. The Painting was introduced in season 1. It's seen for the 1st time in episode 2, and decorated Harvey's office for 6 seasons until E. Stemple took away in season 6 [ep2] It was replaced by a photo of Harvey watching his mom painting it in 6.12 #Suits The painting was done by his mom, I believe.
  14. It's basically a repeat of Anita Gibbs in Season 6 -- she's absolutely in the right side of the law, or at least the version of it Suits presents as right, but because of all the shady shit going on at the firm they're all acting as though she's the antagonist. It makes sense from a storytelling point of view, since we're viewing her from the firm's POV, but it's just as laughable watching them try to justify all the chaos.
  15. On episode 4 and so far, it's a very strong season. Episode 2 made me cry, Episode 3 made me cheer. All the emotions with this show. Edit: On Ep 6 now. This show is literally like crack and I wish I could slow down! Also there's a corgi in an episode and Antoni's brain slowly malfunctioning is probably one of the highlights of the four seasons combined.

  17. Hey all, hope this is an okay place to ask for recommendations for previous seasons to watch? I was a fan of the classic seasons when their aired and watched 1-10 faithfully as well as some of the later seasons (like Toncatins with Coach and the Heroes vs Villains season. I think the reason I stopped watching was because I hated Russell so much LOL. CBS All Access has pretty much every single season and rewatching the earlier seasons I loved has reminded me of the reason I got into the show. So if you had to recommend some other seasons to check out (say, Season 20-present) to give a watch, what would they be? Fun twists, loveable characters, hateable villains that get satisfying comeuppance (never forget Lil vs Jonny Fairplay in the final Pearl Islands immunity challenge trolololol) or just solid seasons all-around.
  18. I love the name, both first and middle. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
  19. I got spoiled on Tuesday about Tony's death in a totally irrelevant YouTube comments section. Since Tony is my favourite character, the movie was pretty much unsalvageable for me so I went full on Dr Strange and got all the spoilers. Saw some screencaps of the death scene which destroyed me. I was HOPING that if I absorbed enough, I would like become desensitized to it and would not leave the theater a shaking sobbing mess. HAHAHA. yeah, right. As soon as Dr Strange held up his finger to signal this was their one chance, the floodgates opened and I did not stop crying until the credits rolled. I don't even remember any of Cap's stuff that happened after (nor do I care, not a Cap fan). I'm glad that Tony got his 5 years with Pepper and Morgan, but it just wasn't enough. He deserved a lifetime with them. Overall I give the movie an 8/10. The tension didn't feel as steady as it did in Infinity War and the time travelling was just confusing and all over the place, as amusing as it was. Loved all of the callbacks to the other movies, from Morgan wanting a cheeseburger, to Pepper suiting up again (Rescue!!! Which was spoiled back in August and in interviews about Infinity War prior!!! But Rescue!!! *GESTURES WILDLY AT HER USER ICON*), to revisiting all of the older scenes with the stones. One of the reasons I knew a Tony death would kill me was because RDJ would act the shit out of it. And he did, from his "I am Iron Man" (more chills) to his "Hi, Pep" in his last breaths, yeah between him, Tom Holland, and Gwyneth herself (I razz on GP and her zaniness but she is an amazing actress) I was just a wreck. It's so unfair. At least he died surrounded by his family and friends, but I still am bitter that Cap got to live out his life with Peggy while Tony gave it all up. And I honestly think that was an intentional switch the Russos made: I think most of us bet on Cap dying which would have been the more obvious choice. He has less to lose, he's still a man out of time. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go back to sobbing every time YouTube suggests an Endgame related video to me.
  20. I'm honestly going to sub to Disney+ just for these Marvel shows. I don't pay for my Netflix account (I use my mom's) so I can fork out the monthly fee to keep myself happy.
  21. I think it's rare that showrunners and writers will plan an entire show's life from birth to finale. So many shows have been dragged on even when the pool of ideas has run dry, and as much as I could also watch it forever, eventually it would reach that point and turn into every other TV show going through the motions. To know that Dan and Eugene already know how everything is going to end makes me feel like they'll give the show an amazing sendoff.
  22. Season 6 will air in 2020 and will be the final season. I don't want to see this show go because I love it so much, but I am so relieved that it's on their terms and that the can finish the stories the way they planned.
  23. Definitely. QE probably made the arrangements for Mary to get some appointments ahead of filming, to meet the dentist and get the molds for the teeth done. It's TV magic but I don't think it took away from how moved she was by the end result.
  24. Overall I found season 3 much stronger than season 2 but not quite as memorable as season 1.
  25. The billing on posters is complicated, and just because they're on the poster doesn't dictate name position. Don't think too much about it or you'll get a headache, especially with a cast list this huge. Paltrow isn't a surprise, as we've known she was going to be in Endgame for almost a year (filming last summer). And the spoilers about Pepper's role are still making me squee internally the closer we get to release.
