He certainly doesn’t look like his old muscular self... I’m thinking that epic shirtless scene in season 6 which very nearly had me switching allegiances of which boy I liked best. For me, Jared has always come in third but dang that was hot. Oh crap, should this go in that shallow thread about how good they look? 😃

This. So much all of this. Exactly!

To Thriller.

I love Cas to death, but for someone who has lived millennia- he’s always been pretty naive. Almost every mistake he’s ever made (and he’s made a lot of big ones) were all because he thought he was doing the right thing because he was naive. It’s a character flaw, but it’s Cas. He swallows purgatory souls, he said yes to Lucifer, he knocked out Sam and Dean a couple of years ago because fetus!Jack told him too. Then Jack woke him up from the empty, and he has been team Jack ever since. He has a dangerous over-attachment to Jack, and it reminds me of when fetus!Jack had him mind whammied (sort of) way back in season 12. There may be more to that, or it just might be Cas being naive again. At any rate, he was in a back-to-back circle fighting with TFW in the last seconds of the finale- and that’s where I want him. In the end, I believe he will always choose Dean (and to a lesser extent- Sam) over everything else.

I don’t think they can do that. Sam, especially, can’t pass for 21 anymore.

As always, Sue B, this- all of this. 👆🏻

IMO, top 5 spn finales: I still think the most epic finale was 8 when Sam was dying, Cas was human, and the angels were falling. That was intense. I also liked the end of 10 when Dean just got rid of the mark and the darkness was coming and Cas seemingly killed Crowley under the attack dog spell. I thought the endings of season 5 and 6 were worthy of the top 5 too. That leaves one left to round out my top 5. This one is certainly the most ambitious both in scale of the monsters and Chuck being the villain. So either this one or tied with season 12. Sam confronting Lucifer’s son while Dean leans over Cas’ dead body.

I liked it, as well. There were gripes I had- but all in all, I’m excited about season 15. 🙂 I do enjoy Team Free Will.

Other than the zombified angels, I feel like I also saw set pics of Jack that were not in the ep, and I could have sworn that I read in at least 2 different sources that Cas had a long monologue (which I didn't see), and that he drove the impala (which I def didn't see).

I hated these 2 things and liked everything else. Is that even possible? LOL.

I am shocked they went there! I like the epic build-up to the last season with all these old-school monsters coming back, and Chuck saying, “welcome to the end.” However, religiously, I’m a little Uncomfortable that they’re making God/Chuck the super bad guy. Will that cost them viewers? I’m surprised the network lets them get away with that if what it seems to be really is. I feel like I have to go to confession now for enjoying that ep, and looking forward to next season. At least TFW looks like they will be a united front again. I don’t know what else to say about this. Even if the last season is bad, it looks to be epic and not boring. I mean, he would be the most powerful big bad they’ve had but I still have a hard time imagining Chuck as the big bad.

I think I'm seeing Endgame on Monday. I would probably say Black Panther for my fave, I also liked Civil War, Thor, and the first Captain America, and Captain Marvel.

These Spoilers Suck: Bitter Speculation About SPN Spoilers
S Cook Productions replied to catrox14's topic in Supernatural
Yes. All of this, IMO too. -
Is Rowena in the finale?
-
I agree. I didn’t see Cas killing Duma coming. Now who’s running heaven?? The first half of this ep was a little boring but then it got better IMO. Usually the penultimate eps are better than this, though.

I wonder where Cas will come down on this...he said himself he thinks Jack is his responsibility over anyone else's- has since before Jack was even born. I can see Cas being ok with it for Dean...but I'm not sure there is anyone else that can convince him killing Jack has to be done. What do you all think?

We might get our Pet Sematary scenario after all!

Thank you! Interesting! 😃👏🏼

My mom just called me to say she didn’t understand this episode. Mostly the angel grace stuff. Lol. She also can never properly understand flashback scenes either, so this past week’s will be a real treat lol.

I don’t have Twitter. Did anyone mention the tie? I really think that was a flaw. Back in season 12 when she came back, he had the old tie. He didn’t get this new blue (replica of old OLD one) until the Empty brought him back in season 13. It bothered me upon first watch before Bobo even said anything lol. I’m a continuity nerd.
