Wow! You know, that’s not such a crazy speculation. They have been foreshadowing zombies a lot with Jack lately. Jack told the Lebanon teens there were no such things as zombies, and he told the Winchester’s that it’s illegal to raise a zombie in some countries. Seems like a lot of talk recently about zombies. If Jack is thinking about them with that BotD spell- then they could indeed be brought forth.

I was at a con where he said he gets Hero 1 Impala, and Jared gets Hero 3. I think it’s written into their final contract as a bonus.

I noticed the tie...but why was it deliberate? If it happened right after Mary got back, it would have been the striped tie. It did bother me a bit.

OmG, I expected a Pet Sematary too! I even said that aloud during the ep and totally thought that’s where they were going lol.

I would think Dean’s short-changed Mary flashback has more to do with him needing time off for New Orleans than anything derogatory on the part of the writers. IMO, of course Other than that, I pretty much agree with SueB. 🙂

That's awesome, speaking as a tv producer and a fan of Cas/angel storylines in general, I really liked the intro of Cas/angels scene in season 4, ep 1 at the end. Oh man, I wish SUPERNATURAL was around when I was taking all of my tv classes- but alas, I graduated in 1999. Yes, I'm Dean's age...old if you ask the Lebanon teens. 😉

Maybe, but can you really see them trying to make everyone think it was Dean at Cas and then have it not be? I'm not sure they would do such a blatant misdirect...would they?

I can see this...but if she’s not dead, then why did Jensen say he had a scene crying in the woods alone; and why is Dean so pissed at Cas?? I guess she could be severely injured a la Donatello was, or missing.

My head canon is that every time Cas heals Sam or Dean (and that’s a lot), he erases whatever CTE, PCS, and other concussion-related issues they most certainly should have.

OmG. Lol. Although I did like this ep, I do have to agree with a lot of this. I also agree with pretty much everything SueB said too (except the Nickifer part. I know I’m the only one but I think Mark P is a great actor and I generally like what he does).

Do you think all 3 of them try to sacrifice Jack? I could see Dean doing it because he always said he would be the one to end him. Or I could see Cas doing it just for the angst.

I did a meet and greet with Misha at the middle of season 11, and he didn’t display any sort of willingness to end the show then. In fact, he almost seemed afraid they might kill him off against his wishes. We briefly discussed it over scotch. Now granted, that was like 3 or 4 years ago and things could have changed...but IMO he has the best of both worlds: a lot of time off and a steady gig. I don’t understand why he would want it to end. However, I do think he would totally go along with the Js if they wanted to (which I believe they did, obviously). Misha would definitely support them.

I just saw on set pics of Rob Benedict in the season finale.

I’ve always thought that the only character that could make a spin off happen is Cas. He’s very popular. I had a very strong feeling that Wayward wouldn’t take. However, I haven’t seen any talk ever anywhere about some sort of angel/Cas spin-off. Do we think that it’s only because he’s popular within and because of his relationship to the Winchester’s? Would Misha even ever consider continuing, or does he want to end too? I honestly have no idea. It’s always seemed to me that he had the best of both worlds- a steady paycheck, the con gig, and still a good amount of time off.

Who guessed Cas as a probable death? I don't think that is likely. Does anyone here? With his Empty plotline being next season, I don't think he will die this season...plus he just died 2 finales ago.

My best friends died in Dec in 2011- they were killed by a driver on meth while they were on the way to my birthday party. Long story short, my husband had been watching SPN on netflix. I took a week off in Jan for the funeral and stuff, and hubby Bob said he thought I would like this show that he started watching. Maybe it was because of the need I had for something at that point in my life but I fell hard in love with it (no, I'm not depressed, I don't have depression or anything like that- but suffice it to say- that was a tough month). Anyhoo, it took us a year (all of 2012 pretty much) to catch up on 7 seasons on netflix, and then we started live with season 8. It's been such a huge part of my life for 7 years now, I will miss it and everything surrounding it because it means so much! I hope the cons continue. I've been to 4 or 5 of them.

I met Dee Wallace last night at a party and we talked about her episode of supernatural for about 5 minutes. She absolutely lit up! She said she LOVED doing it so much. She said she couldn’t say enough great things about the boys. She said they were so funny and fun and nice and professional, and she had a ball with them. It couldn’t have been a nicer or more fun experience. We hear that a lot in a public forum, but this was just her and I at a party and we both had a drink in our hands- so it seemed real and genuine. It was so very nice to hear. 🙂

Me too, but in the same way that I love Naomi. They’re just slimy interesting villains. I mean I love to dislike them, I think? I pretty much love all eps that they’re in even though I physically yell at them while they’re on screen lol.

Thank you. 🙂 Yes, I totally get that. However, to my knowledge that’s the only ep that his name appeared in that he wasn’t actually in. I suppose it had something to do with them wanting him in that cool X Files intro.
