Interesting that this and the finale all happen to be on the same day. Today will be quite an exciting day for supernatural! (And they just got back from Europe too- whirlwind for sure)! Anyway, here’s to tonight... ??

I’m choosing to adopt a head canon that I’ve read numerous places about this: AU!Cas cannot teleport because his wings have been clipped. He’d been tortured for millennia relentlessly by the angels (maybe even AU!Naomi), which is why he is the way he is...a complete dirtbag with a milky eye and a twitch, who only knows torture. That’s also why he told our Cas that they were the same. And our Cas agreeed. If Sam/Dean and good humanity weren’t there to make sure he stayed on the straight and narrow- our Cas could have easily gone down the road of Au!Cas. Put that way, you almost feel bad for the guy...

No hate from me. I don’t know if it’s true, but I think I remember hearing he did that the last time there was a Jensen/Misha panel too. ??‍♀️

Anything else come out of Jib? Panels with J2M all together are so rare...and I always enjoy them. I’ve only seen them all in person together once, but it’s probably one of the best panels I’ve seen. I saw the part where Misha said that the AU!Cas accent was his own idea...but what about the mouth twitch? Upon a re-watch, it bothered me less lol.

Hmmm. Then maybe I’m biased in the other direction because of that. It’s possible. I met Pellegrino at a con in January and he was absolutely delightful. He was so friendly to both my husband and I. We had only planned to get a photo op (with him and Misha), but he was so generous and fun and funny, that we then decided to also get an autograph. Plus I think he’s a great actor. So I do see and understand the complaints about Lucifer’s story possibly getting stale- but find I still enjoy him.

Oh and one more thing that bothered me...yet another Trump reference. Kaia did it too. I think it’s a continuity error because how can there be both a President Trump and a President Jefferson Rooney??

AU!Cas made me laugh too (although I also couldn’t tell if the accent was German and Russian), but I was fascinated by it because it was so weird...and short. Glad Cas got to kill him though. Someone else mentioned that neither Gabe nor Bobby included Cas when talking about the Winchester’s and they should have...he’s been with them throughout this whole journey! So I didn’t mind AU!Cas because at least it finally put the focus on Cas for a hot minute! I liked this ep for the most part, and I’m excited about next week...but I’m not excited about hellatus after. I’m definitely now thinking Michael!Dean too. Oh and lastly, agreed that AU!Michael is a good villain and easy on the eyes....but then again, what guy on this show isn’t?? Seems to me that they’re all hot!

Ok, since I'm here now...I'll put in my 2 cents on this episode. :) I actually really liked it. I know that at 41 I'm too old for Tumblr, but on Tumblr this ep has received many positive reviews...here, it is pretty mixed, it seems. My hubby (who is a much more casual viewer than I although he was originally who introduced me to SPN) and I both got a big kick out of the Rowena/Gabriel antics. I guess we could just imagine the two of them doing that...fits their respective personalities, IMO. I also personally found the Gabe and Cas "personal space issue" scene pretty amusing- but that was I think because of their facial expressions. I thought this ep had a good mix of comedy, horror, drama, and action...although it was jarring how it jumped between all of those emotions- it didn't bother me all that much. This probably should go under UO, but I enjoy watching Lucifer. He uses annoyance as a defense mechanism when his power is low, and IMO that is a canon characteristic of him. Of course, I don't think anyone thought for one moment that the end of Sam would stick...but it didn't deter me from being glued to the sadness displayed by both Dean and Cas (and later Jack and Mary). Yes, sometimes the writing leaves something to be desired...but the acting on this show is superb. I'm a Producer IRL, so I've seen my fair share of bad acting...but this ain't it. All in all, I'd put this episode in my top 5 of the season...but then again, I probably unfairly weight Cas episodes higher.

Hi All, this is my first post! However, I've been a lurker for over a year, so I feel like I know all of you! :) I couldn't join earlier because I only had an aol address previously...but I've been lurking since the "Stuck in the Middle" episode last year. I think that was my fave ep of last season, and I wanted to see what people were saying about it, so I found this forum...and stalked you all for the past year, lol, sorry. So.....quick summary on me: I love this show, I really like this season, and I usually agree with Sue B. I'm a Cas-fan first and foremost, but not a shipper. I've been to a few SUPERNATURAL cons, always a good time. Ok, my spec- why is no one talking about the possibility of Rapheal??!! He's the only Arch-Angel that hasn't been mentioned AT ALL. Seems to me, explaining away his death would be just as easy as explaining away Gabriel's...
