He might’ve given Jill her “share” and let her go about her merry little way. She spent years as the mouthpiece for them on that show. I hope she got something for it. -
Jill, Derick & the Kids: Moving On!!

Jill is living her best life right now. She took the boys out by herself, without a man or a chaperone in sight. She didn’t sit at home and wait for Derrick to get back. Sleeveless shirt, windows down, sunroof open, radio blaring (a Christian music station but STILL). When is the last time any of her sisters went out unattended, without a husband, brother, or another sister attached at the hip? Maybe this past week is wreaking havoc on my brain but go Jill, go! -

I love the idea of Dawn’s dad living in California with his boyfriend. Carol was annoying anyway. -

I guess they should’ve included the standard “family members are ineligible” fine print for Jill. 😂 -

This is the most skin any Duggar girl has ever shown. I see her arms AND her collarbone plus some. It’s an awful jumpsuit but I like that she’s experimenting. -

S35.E07: Should I Stay or Should I Go?
Spencer Hastings replied to OnceSane's topic in The Challenge
I’m glad Jenna won this. I hate that she’s so easily manipulated by Zach, so I’m glad she was able to win this one and not give Tori the easy win she thought she was going to get. They all assumed she was a layup and that they could use her abusive relationship against her. Sometimes when you watch a show for too long, new seasons bring about new awful and annoying people. You get so annoyed with the newbies that you forget how much you hated the old people. Nany was that person for me tonight. I suddenly remembered that I can’t stand her! -

Yes, that stuck out to me as well. At one point she and Derick were even posting that visitors could find them and sit with them if they were coming alone or afraid of taking the plunge. I remember thinking that was kind of risky considering their followers range from those who hate them to those who might be a little too obsessed. I can’t see any of the other Duggars extending an invitation like that, if they have I’ve forgotten about it. -
Jenna. Jenna, Jenna, Jenna. I promise you, you can leave him and you won’t die alone. There are plenty of decent guys who would swoop in. I think she’s both obsessed with Zach and afraid of being single, both of which are sad. Watching the their conversation made me think that he is cheating on her and is looking for a reason to justify it when she finds out. A narcissistic way to take the heat off of himself. If she confesses to something, anything, he’s off the hook and she will have to grovel to keep HIM, not the other way around.

I could be projecting, but Jessa seems to be the kind of person who gets stressed out about any kind of change, big or small. She has control issues and clothing is just about the easiest thing to control. Keeping the same style is easy. Wearing the same kind of outfit or keeping certain items probably helps her feel consistency and control. She also strikes me as deeply self conscious (having an ego is a different story) so making any kind of moves that will draw attention to her physical self is a no go.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
Spencer Hastings replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
Anna’s kids always appear to be happy and well taken care of. The prayer jar shows that she’s making an attempt to show them that you can thoughtfully serve others through prayer without stipulations tacked on. That being said, I wish she’d left Josh 5 years and 2 kids ago. She could be the most loving mother in the world but it’s all for naught if she’s still with him. It’s so frustrating. -

I’m glad Izzy got a day to be celebrated. There was talk of him being largely ignored or treated like a burden online but they seem to be taking a genuine interest in him as he gets older. Jill seems to be finding her stride. She doesn’t get it right 100% of the time (who does?!) but it’s evident that she’s found some flaws within her life and at least tries to be better. -

At that age kids respond to positive reinforcement. If they’re filming her and not getting a good response or she gives a side eye, they might react negatively (probably unintentionally) and she would pick up on that energy. If they film her and she hams it up, she gets a positive response from them and again, picks up on those cues. She might eventually be a natural show off but I would bet that Jinger and Jeremy encourage her hamming it up more than normal parents would. -
Jenn is absolutely gorgeous, so I can see why Dee was intimidated by that. Rogan has shown her time and time again that he’s had his fun and is done with her, especially after she helped win him some money. Jenn was obviously the weakest player, but I think Dee was legitimately shaken by the newer model. I knew she wouldn’t go into elimination against her though. She said she’d be embarrassed to lose to her, but I’m not sure she was all that confident about Jenn’s (In)abilities.

Especially since they follow the belief that your relationship with your spouse comes before your children. -
The Other Duggars: The Lost Girls and Amy
Spencer Hastings replied to Ljohnson1987's topic in Counting On
There’s not even a word to describe how despicable it is to enforce a NDA in which a niece can’t even mention her family. But then I remember who I’m talking about and sadly this doesn’t even crack a Top Ten list of the awful things JB has done (that we know about).
