  1. This to me is proof that Ron simply cannot learn from his mistakes. One of the big reasons the Patrick/Sabrina pairing alienated so many fans right out of the gate was that, while the fairy tale romance was playing out, Robin was being HELD PRISONER AND TORTURED. Now, he expects everyone to ooh and aah over Samtrick, except, that while their fairytale romance is playing out, Robin is being HELD PRISONER AND CHAINED TO A WALL. Well, there is the whole, "I must ruin Patrick Drake's life to avenge Rafe's death" thing. I suspect that Silas may end up taking a hand in the Jason reveal. Get used to this, it's JT's go-to acting style for any scene he considers not up to his exacting standards.
  2. With a big side order of "Patrick keeping secrets from Sam was all Robin's fault."
  3. The difference between a hero and a villain on GH these days is that when a "hero" does something reprehensible there are numerous excuses carefully written into the script to explain away their horrible acts, whereas a villain is just campy and crazeballs.
  4. All signs point to Ava. I fully expect Sonny to play the "She manipulated me into it!" card to escape all responsibility for killing A.J. I also fully expect everybody on screen to buy this line of bullshit. It's the way GH has rolled for the past quarter century.
  5. The rumor I heard was that he used his position as favorite to throw his weight around, and made many enemies that way. Two things McTavish did right! :) That Guza promptly shat upon. >:(
  6. Or, better yet, it turns out that Ava's swelling belly is either a.) a hysterical pregnancy or b.) an abdominal tumor*. Same thing happens - Ava realizes there is no baby but keeps up the ruse in order to stay alive. * - hey, if Franco can have a tumor in his head, Ava can have one in her tummy!
  7. What was sad was that the actress actually was fairly capable, she just never got to do anything remotely interesting except show up to screw up Jax's love life.
  8. Thing is, I truly fear who they would bring in their place. I remember when GH got shut of Megan McTavish. People at the time were breathing huge sighs of relief - no one could be worse than her, we all thought. Then Guza blew in and began his two-decade reign of destruction*. The takeaway I got from that is, "it can always get worse. So very, very much worse." * - The writing went up on the wall when Guza took the one thing that McTavish had done right - CourAJ - and promptly wrecked it.
  9. It would be the only time I would be down with Steve Burton coming back for an episode. Think of it: NINA: ::Repeats everything twice, flails: SONNY: ::Stutterbarks at everyone:: STAVROS: ::Twirls mustache and says LINES REALLY LOUD IN A HIGH-PITCHED VOICE!!!!:: Long pause... JASON: ::Blink:: I can see both these characters functioning as a "talk-to" character that other people confide in*, but Kiki especially constantly butts in and pontificates on situations she knows nothing about. * - Except that Kristina would be a much more natural fit for what Kiki is doing (except for the romances, of course). Ditto. It's like every single thing he does is transparently self-serving. ... and six months later, Patrick finally lifts his head from between Sam's breasts and goes, "Wait, I have a daughter?"
  10. The first one they took wasn't all that, either.
  11. But of he course he would. That gives him an excuse to do what he wants to do in the first place - stay in Port Charles and paw up Sam while telling himself how blameless he is because mean ol' Robin refused to come home for no damn good reason. Poor Kristina and Molly. They are both cursed with father's for whom they are, at best, afterthoughts. On the other hand, that is spot-on normal teenage behavior.
  12. "The Revenge of A.J. Quartermaine" or 'If You Can't Beat Them, Kill Them All Off"
  13. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN AND MAKE IT PERMANENT!!! Is Ted King available?
  14. ::Points towards the Corinthos and their newest bundle of "Mama-hit-a-few-branches-of-the-family-tree" joy.
  15. It just occurred to me that the Cassadines have the distaff offspring of the very people who defeated them in the Ice Princess caper (Luke & Laura Spencer/Lulu, Robert Scorpio/Robin) in their clutches. Add in Maxie, and you have three characters who are the children of "Golden Age" GH who are being held by the Cassadines and/or the Legion of Doom. I'd like to think that this isn't a coincidence, but alas, I fear so. But if I had my druthers this could provide the impetus for an umbrella storyline that brings together Luke and Laura, Robert and Anna, and Frisco and Felicia as they all unite to rescue their daughters*. Maybe have the search wend it's way through the Asian Quarter, Mexico, and have the final throwdown be on the very island where the old, now defunct weather machine had been. A fun throwback to the Ice Princess saga, the Left-Handed Boy adventure, the Aztec Princess... This would have been such a perfect idea for a summer story arc. * - Meanwhile, of course, the daughters have banded together and are figuring out ways to rescue themselves.
  16. Taking my comment to the Speculation thread. Well, as everyone knows, getting shot in the chest and/or raped in prison are important growth experiences no child should go without. And A.J. - er, Morgan - has proved himself to be incapable of providing his child with such vital necessities and therefore said child should be taken away from him at the earliest possible moment. I'm sure Sonny will be using the meathook more in sorrow than anger... [/sarcasm] As much as it pains me to stick up for RC, on this particular subject I can see why it's done. Fans are constantly clamoring to see "legacy families" and veteran characters, and one good way to provide both is to bring back classic villains for characters to tangle with (yet) again. I just think that the way Ron goes about this is wrong. As has been pointed out upthread, Stavros sleazing all over Lulu is gross on many different levels, he should come back with a plan to destroy the town and the families that destroyed his, and have an age-appropriate son in tow to take up the "threaten Lulu" duties as part of the family vendetta.
  17. Maxie should be seeing Kevin already. Then again, so should half the town...
  18. He'll suddenly have tons of art therapy patients who think he's just the bees knees because of the way he helped them all so much. Offscreen.
  19. I wonder if that's not a bit of a reaction to the Guza years, where there was an actor (Maurice Bernard, later Steve Burton) that was big enough to hijack the show. Although I wouldn't say they "got" big, more they were "made" big.
  20. I have my doubts that any soap would be eagerly awaiting KA's exit from GH so they could grab her right up. Much as I think he does well when the writing puts him in his wheelhouse of dry humor and sarcastic asides, I don't think ME is all that hot a property either. RoHo I can see legitimately becoming the center of a bidding war. Especially when she sees how many of her former castmates are not. She has to realize how lucky she is.
  21. Because only Sonny is allowed to litter the canvas from one end to the other with his spawnlings.
  22. Somebody should point out to FV that it's safe to dump these guys now, since it's not like there's an OLTL around any more to snatch them up.
