  1. Pleasedon'tletitbeLevi pleasedon'tletitbeLevi pleasedon'tletitbeLevi... PleaseletitbeLevi pleaseletitbeLevi pleaseletitbeLevi... ;)
  2. Not necessarily. Look at who his mother was... I'm wondering if this isn't leading up to some big reveal/retcon where it turns out that Carly had a night of hate sex with A.J. no one (including the audience) knew about and that Morgan really is a Q. Aren't we about due for one of RC's patented "out of nowhere" paternity reveals?
  3. He doesn't even have a Starr/KA in KA. (At least, not any more). What is it with the doctors of GH? Because just by changing the word "oncologist" to "doctor", this also describes Patrick Drake to a "T".
  4. I wouldn't mind Courtney coming back if the scene went like this: COURTNEY (takes a hesitant step onto the docks, wonderingly): "I'm... I'm back. And I'm alive. (Joyous) I'M ALIVE!" [Not-Dead A.J. walks up, shoots her dead, kicks her body into the harbor] A.J.: "Peace out, bitch."
  5. The impression that I got from reading interviews with Bob "I'm-Too-Good-for-Daytime-Get-Me-A-Movie-Gig" Guza was that Sonny was supposed to be a knockoff of Michael Corleone.
  6. I wouldn't mind Maxie pairing with Nathan, but only after she received a comeuppance for her idiocy and spent some time facing the consequences of her actions. And also she would need to apologize to him for not believing him when he told the truth and for the way she behaved towards him.
  7. Can someone explain to me like I'm Sonny why Mickey's next of kin can't be contacted to see if they might be able to give permission?
  8. I don't think she ever was a favorite. She was a useful tool to prop the character of Patrick and for her portrayer to take all the heat from furious Scrubs fans when TPTB transitioned Patrick to other pairings. Now that she has served her purpose, my guess is she'll return to the canvas just long enough to reunite with Carlos before she is written out. If you want to get an idea of who in a pairing will be protected at all costs, just wait until the big story arc is over and see who is being shuffled towards the exits and who is getting the Emmy pre-noms/nominations*, or, hell, is even still there. That's a pretty sure-fire way to figure out who the pet is. * - For proof, I point to the Daytime Emmy currently sitting on Kristen Alderson's mantel. I agree with you about the punchline/joke part, but what's wrong with having a male character who is attracted to older women? Every Sonny pairing since he has arrived on the show has been an older man/younger woman pairing, what would be so terrible about some romances that go the other way?
  9. At least it will make it easier to fast forward the both of them...
  10. I'm pretty sure they will, which will further confirm my belief that the actor who was really the propped, pimped and petted one in that shitbag storyline wasn't TeCa/Sabrina, but JT/Patrick. Even as he seemed to go out of his way to tank it. I can't help but compare how the character of Sabrina was carefully confined to that one particular storyline to how Kiki has stuck her snout into just about every storyline on the canvas, plus shared scenes with nearly every character. THAT, my friends, is what a pet looks like..
  11. I remember reading an interview with Brad Maule in (IIRC) SOW, shortly after he left GH. He said words to the effect of, "Guza told me he would tear Tony down, but not to worry, he would build him back up again after. He tore Tony down, all right... and he never bothered to build him back up."
  12. Jason Morgan was a brain-damaged robot. Jason Quartermaine, on the other hand...
  13. Interestingly enough, I keep thinking that MSt would have been nigh-unto-perfect as a Carly recast, and I always thought Tamara was miscast in that role... Well, since Sonny will do time for killing A.J NEVER, your are probably right. On the other hand... ... this would work. ::Crossing my fingers and toes that this is true!::
  14. You could argue that the same attitude slopped onto the character of Kristina - or, as she was known on TWoP, "Girlchild". It was clear that Guza had no use for her and scripted Sonny as having no use for her - until they needed a delicate girl to get beaten on by a big bad boyfriend, of course, when suddenly Lexi Ainsworth had a story to play and Sonny was the most devoted father evuh!
  15. Taking my answer to this to the GH History thread. Fixed your spelling for you... ;)
  16. ICAM! I liked Sean Kanan when he returned to the role of A.J., but I would be absolutely thrilled if they brought Billy Warlock back to play the role. (Course then it would be a mite difficult to believe the man had a grown son - I swear Billy Warlock drinks the blood of the same virgins that Becky Herbst does. He still looks young!). Worse, when Guza finally broke up Sexis, he went on a years-long "Trash Alexis" bender that her character never really recovered from. I still shudder thinking about the Dobson Debacle.
  17. Whew! For a couple of seconds there I was about to go, "Fluke is A.J.? Whaaaaa.....?"
  18. Whereas I feel the exact opposite - Guza never made any secret of the fact that he felt that writing soaps was beneath him, that he found soaps and their fans contemptible, and that he thought he *really* should be penning movies or prime time television shows rather than "wasting his talents" on a soap opera. I didn't see any of Wolf's run or read interviews with him, so I don't know if he held a similar opinion. But RC I am willing to cut a break because I get the feeling he really does love soaps - he might love the things about soaps that we here at PTV don't, or don't love as much as he does - camp, for example - but he loves soaps. To me, the problem has never been with his motivation, or even his ideas - it's been his execution of his ideas. Also, given the raft of newbies RC has brought onto this show, I am seriously starting to wonder if the long-held "urban myth" that soap opera writers get paid bonuses for bringing on new characters doesn't have some validity to it...
  19. Regarding the mooted return of Jason, I wouldn't mind of ReRon lived up to his nickname and did a reworking of the Todd/Victor story on OLTL with a little bit of Face/Off thrown in, and have it that when Jason returns he is not the Jason Morgan who was shot and kicked into the harbor (he's still fish food), but the Jason Quartermaine who was involved in a car accident with his brother A.J. at the wheel** lo these many years ago and has been in a coma and/or on ice ever since then*. I just love the idea of a returned Jason Quartermaine staring in horror at his family as they recount the many crimes of Jason Morgan, and then saying, incredulously, "How could any of you believe I was capable of such things?" * - It could turn out that the guy everyone knew as "Jason Morgan" was actually Jason's evil twin brother Franco, and the guy everybody thought was Franco was Scott and Heather's son who developed a tumor which made him think he was Franco and do all sorts of evil things.
  20. I'm sure they all do, but really, there is no substitute for people working in physical proximity to each other when it comes to maintaining a free flow and cross-pollination of ideas.
  21. Ned and A.J. used to be at loggerheads, but I could see them effecting a reconciliation and standing shoulder-to-shoulder against Sonny should A.J. return from the dead. Should A.J. stay dead, I would like see Ned start picking apart the story of "A.J. killed Connie" and the A.J. muder cover-up on the grounds of, "A.J. and I may have had our differences, but he was still family. And something about this whole setup just ain't right". Sadly, this is all too in character for Anna. She's the one who told Robin that Robin should be grateful that Patrick deigned to look in her direction. So her putting Patrick over her own daughter is same-o same-o. :( It's been so long since we had a "Who Killed _______?" storyline, with multiple suspects and everything. I nominate Kiki as the victim. In all fairness, the canvas was desperately in need of some young 'uns that weren't in some way, shape, or form Corinthos spawn... ... never mind. Taking my answer to this to the GH History Lessons thread...
  22. There is also Celia Quartermaine and Jimmy Lee Holt and whatever children/grandchildren they may have had, together or apart. Alexandria Quartermaine could have had children before she died/was frozen, given that she had a steamy affair with Tony Cassadine before he too died/was frozen, there could be a Quartermaine-Cassadine out there ready to shake up Port Charles! Jimmy Lee Holt or his children would be another way to introduce a Q story back to the canvas, since Edward disinherited him in 2013. Maybe he has a son or daughter who shows up in Port Charles determined to take over ELQ in order to get back what is "rightfully theirs" and after some fussin' and feudin' the Qs welcome their new family member into the circle in their usual way (i.e., with lots of snark). I would like to see Michael finally reclaim the Quartermaine name officially (maybe after the truth about Sonny killing A.J. comes out I will finally get my long-dreamed-of, "My name isn't Michael Corinthos... it's Alan Edward Quartermaine!" scene), and/or have a not-dead Jason who-is-Jason-Q-again reclaim his name and give it to his son Danny. So many possibilities for ways to bring the Qs back... so little possibility it will actually happen... And now I'm sad.
  23. Much of the reason for this is that Guza managed to get in good and tight with Brian Frons (notice how the departures of Frons and Guza very nearly coincided) and JFP also has/had "friends in high places".
  24. ... and Levi's plot is revealed when Maxie is watching television one day and sees one of the "immigration officials" in a television commercial. Joe Kelly? I got nuthin'...
  25. It's kind of a sad/hilarious comment on this show that when I read this I couldn't figure out whether Morgan wouldn't be okay with killing Ava or he wouldn't be okay with the fact that the child she is carrying is either his son or his brother. I'd add in Lucas too because a.) he's Julian's son and b.) he's pretty when shirtless too. ;) Finally, Happy 100 Pages Of Posts, GH Episode Discussion Thread! :D
