  1. The motorcycle bad guy was very Darth Vadar like when he was introduced and killed the scientist in the early episode. Also, when all the electronics were working on their own (when Dustin came home), that was very Maximum Overdrive. The station wagon full of teens reminded me a little of The Legend of Billie Jean.
  2. I think part of the difference between Nicole believing the Afghanimals and Victor knowing they were lying was because of their most recent experiences. Victor had just been schooled by one not to help other teams and to lie to them. Nicole has been off frolicking with elephants with the other. Had it been reversed, it’s possible Victor would also had hesitated when their friends were telling that they were going the wrong way. I doubt she would make that mistake again.
  3. You could fanwank that Noah took over as the Y incision was being made but it never went further than that. Regardless, it should be explained in some fashion next season. Maybe. Back to Michael/Maria/Alex. It also didn’t make sense that Michael wouldn’t first have shared with Alex that his hand was healed. I mean, Alex had already basically confessed part of his reason for going into the military was so he would be strong enough to prevent what happened to Michael. He was traumatized by it too. He also already knows about the alien powers. Showing him the fixed hand (which Michael obviously was happy about) would be a kind thing to do and just make sense aside from their romantic relationship. No one else would be as relieved, happy and also understand it the same way Alex would. He wouldn’t even have had to go into a long explanation of how it was possible.
  4. On the Michael/Maria/Alex, I find all the relationships somewhat compelling but I have to question myself that most of my positive feelings for Michael and Maria might be leftover from OG Michael and Maria. I didn’t think that until the most recent episode. It was weird. It seemed like maybe there was a missing scene or two about/between them. We went from Michael saying he loved Alex, while Maria confessed to Liz that she had hooked up with Michael but wouldn’t again because he was Alex’s “museum boy” to suddenly they are making out and then she is doing paperwork while he plays the guitar nearby like they have been a couple for awhile? Like what? Where did that come from? If they are going to make out, wouldn’t their next reactions when they take a breath have been something sort of thoughtful or pensive or unsure or something less mundane than book keeping and guitar strumming? It made them both look poorly that even after the initial make out, neither have given poor Alex a thought. Neither of them deserve him IMO.
  5. I would assume that there never was a real autopsy performed. Maybe Noah mindwarped someone into writing up a fake autopsy. And then we already know a cover up autopsy was also written.
  6. No Noah said Rosa made her mother leave Roswell. That Rosa threatened to tell their dad that he wasn’t her biological father if mom didn’t leave.
  7. I thought it was really well done. Lots of beautifully sad moments.
  8. I think it was a red flag because the missing puzzle piece also was that he said Noah always went to that Ranchero night to help people with legal issues. Combined with the racist guy from the previous episode that said that murdered woman left with a Mexican guy (forgetting exactly the phrasing), and in opening scenes of this episode, the gang was speculating on how the 4th alien could have known about the serum. Liz’ dad provided just enough information that it was either a huge coincidence or everything fell into place. They didn’t outright accuse him based on that though, it was just enough to make him a possible suspect at that point.
  9. The Magicians is much, much better all around for sure. People weren’t freaking out about the killings more because a spell was cast. It freaked Jack out because his friend that was killed by Clay was instead changed by the spell to have been killed in a biking accident. He mentioned the people being killed to his grandfather and his grandfather didn’t know about it (again, because of the spell). I missed that the stuff was taken from the basement, I thought we were shown the stuff taken from Jack’s house and Edward’s house. Aside from them still being werewolves, there is the dangling thread of the eviler twin, psychopath sister that should appear anytime and the missing (but broken) machine to talk to the dead.
  10. No slug popped out of Alaric because he wasn’t infected when he shocked himself. At the bar, he was just being himself. Kind of like Lizzie, trying to be a lighter version by choice. However, later at the end of the episode, after everyone else was disinfected he DRANK a slug (gag) and then became infected. And funny, he was actually more mopey when infected which is probably another reason he was caught off guard.
  11. I’m pretty sure Whoopi was referring to the woman who is the head of the Secret Service, I forget her name. The person who said the secret service is prepared to protect at the SOTU. She wasn’t referring to Pelosi.
  12. Ben is doing it for money. He can’t get a job and Chad reminded him that he’s broke. Kate did drink the tea and fall asleep just before Chad came in.
  13. @sabretooth Marie writes a hilarious synopsis every week on a site called Betches. Very funny, every time. She said she isn’t a Johnny fan in general, but Devin was even annoying her by how much he was going after Johnny. From her POV, it was much worse than what we even saw. FWIW, she doesn’t hold back at all. She also thought what Johnny said should never have been said no matter what.
  14. Kaitlyn also used the “Let’s do the damn thing” quote earlier in the season.
  15. I thought the harshest Angela jury GBM (pre-jury ones won’t matter for the vote) was to Rockstar.... but that wasn’t that harsh IMO. She was calling out what Rockstar said about her. If Rockstar has any conscience, she would recognize that and feel guilty for having said it in the first place. Of course, it’s entirely possible Rockstar won’t feel bad for saying those things about Angela... but if she does it might be enough to actually vote for Angela. You never know. Brett’s GBM to Rockstar, I’m calling her an idiot, was incredibly harsh, rude and unnecessary. There is a huge difference there. I dont remember any of the other jury GBMs being harsh.
