  1. I finally liked Rayna this show. No guy baggage, saying 'Ruke' was a 4 letter word, being super mom, AND beating Jeff in signing Sadie, while still taking care of Juliette? Well done writers. Juliette, you break my heart every week. Hayden's scenes are my favorites. And I'm so glad she has Glenn. But I was in total toupee shock - that was probably my favorite moment. Is Zoe finally on tour? Please ? And can the bus disappear for a few seasons? ETA, guess I'm alone in my Rayna love. Giggles and wanders off....
  2. I don't like comedies as a rule, but tuned in just to see Amy Pond on a show. HATED the commercials for it, but laughed a lot during the pilot. And Karen and John are insanely great together. I love this show. And I hope it makes it.
  3. So, Saturday night's ferocious dog rescue had me giggling once we saw it was a Chi. That poor man who got jumped and beat up, can't imagine how he felt watching his dog run away. :( I have a soft spot for abused dogs, we've owned several with horrible stories in their past. But all were just like Bug, passed over for cuter and younger. And just like Bug in that they were so loving and forgiving.
  4. Please feel free to suggest a better title. I've been a show fan forever and will admit to crying a lot during the episodes. Love this series. So happy Cheech has a forever home now. I still tear up when they show that original photo with Chang. And I want Earl to get his arm fixed this year! Is it a matter of money? They show bits and pieces of him at doctor appointment but we never see progress.
  5. It says a lot about the annoying new characters on this show when Derek Freaking Hough didn't bother me. Rayna should have stuck to her guns with Luke. He lives to put her on the spot on public. And really? Deciding on a couple name takes a committee? Combining tours? How does that work when 100 dates on her side and a year on his is already planned out? Love Hayden as a brunette, can she keep that wig? And as usual, she broke my heart tonight. She really is the star of this show.
  6. I really wanted to like this show. Then I realized they brought in Survivor rejects. Was the requirement to curse fluently and be a drunk? Or strip? How are these people living? Where is the food coming from? What was in the box? (Besides Gwyneth Paltrow's head) Figures FOX went to reality ho central for casting.
  7. Gunner - you know why you're not famous? It's your silly hat collection. Burn it and you'll get signed. Jonathan Jackson killed it in this episode. Too bad Avery has short term memory issues. Or we can blame the script monkeys again. Rayna and her magic hair continue to bring in the men. All we needed in this episode was Liam's scarf glaring from the sidelines as Luke proposed.
  8. Hiss. America got it wrong. Guess 2 million you tube followers can't be stopped. I think I liked last year better - no 'bottom three' and 'top two' - tonight was just total bs. Reverse that and have the two lowest battle it out. But, that would have probably made Kristen top 3 and no way did they want that outcome. Their annointed winner sucked last night and got a mercy save tonight. Tessanne sang about eggs and HBO, Who's writing her songs now? I ff'd through Will. (I'm petty and still bitter about Cole.) This season is just a throwaway - NBC milked this cow too much.
  9. Oh Juliette, you misguided fool. Of all the men in Music City, you hook up with Jeff FREAKING Fordham? Why? If Avery was waiting at my house, I'd be home (even with his silly mullet). And I think he'd forgive her for some wise reason. Oh, and that whole Juliette can't get hold of Avery storyline didn't ring true last week - did she drop another phone in a pitcher? The woman's more connected than Twitter. Scarlett's main attraction is singing. So, if she's not going to croon, she can go. But I have the feeling Gunnar or Avery will drag her back onto the Bluebird stage. Rayna loves Luke? And Teddy was nice to Deacon? Did I enter into an alternate world this week? Oh, and I can do without Pickler on my screen. Layla and Will on a reality show. Yep, this was a brilliant idea. NOT.
  10. The Blake/Adam thing is getting old and weird. I really hope Adam had a prop phone number and they rehersed that bit beforehand. I'm shocked that Blake didn't give Sisaundra a Tina Turner song. Maybe next week? I think she's here to stay, my cashier in BJs tonight was talking about her. Favorite tonight was Delvin, then Josh. The rest can just go away. Of course Grimmie might Cassaaddee this season, but I'm hoping she comes in 4th or lower. Bria left her prop and her pitch backstage. That was horrid. Kristin's mike worked, so good for her, but I can't hear 'Let Her Go' without comparing to Cole Vosbury's version last year - which is still one of my favorite Voice songs ever. Was Jake trying to swallow the mike? If I'm allowed to be snarky, he's like the 'Singer for a Day' make a wish kid. And if you're going to sing George Strait, then be able to sing. Audra did the best she could with a Reba song, but the girl needs closed captioning for me to understand her mumbling before screeching.
  11. I'm with some of the other book walkers on the gratuituous rape scenes - ENOUGH. We get it, the guys taking over Craster's Keep are worse than Craster. And stop tormenting Hodor. And what the hell happened to Summer? Poor ((Ghost)). I think he's going to make a meal out of Rast when he gets free. About the only thing that was true to the books was Jaime giving Oathkeeper to Brienne. We got one 'Ser My Lady' from Pod, so I'll be happy with that. Oh, and Ser Pounce the cat made an appearance. Loved the throwaway line about Joff wanting to skin it and feed it to Tommen. That twisted purple corpse was a total freak. My favorite moments tonight were with Jaime. His scene with Tyrion - well done. And the meeting with Brienne and then her departure - I skipped back to watch it again. Just fabulous. Dany's bored me for years in the books. Show Dany's not making a fan of me either. But I did like nailing the masters hands to the crosses.
  12. Yep. I see it too. And Sisaundra's 'humble' act is getting to me too. I've watched every season of the show and this group is the weakest they've ever had. NBC is going to kill this show if they keep doing back to back seasons. Give it a rest and get better talent that's not shrieking at me or holding prop guitars.
  13. This season Pod has learned to talk. I liked book Pod always speaking to people's shoes. Guess Show!Pod getting laid at Littlefinger's House of Exposition did wonders for him? Tywin offered the Mountain to Obereyn in exchange for a guilty vote? Or did he want a not guilty vote? Love Charles Dance. I'd go to a Westeros wedding just to see him up close. Not a fan of the aging up of Tommen. Our new king is . He was 8? I think in the books? More a fan of playing with kittens than learning anything. Tonight was the first time I liked Dany. And the scene with the chains coming from the blocks was just awesome! Arya and the Hound - I'd watch those two all day. Poor Sally. We see Arya degrading even further though, in the past she might have given the farmer and Sally some help or silver, now she just leaves. Tyrion is doomed. Not even Alicia Florrick could save him.
  14. My favorite touches tonight - the dead birds in the pie (leave it to Joff to kill doves); Sansa handing the cup to Tyrion (I had hopes for those two crazy kids to make it (NOT)); Margery realizing her new King was batshit and doing her best to diffuse it; and the ending scene where we saw blood streaming from every orifice as Joff is finally gone. Jack Gleeson is an insanely good actor. Wonder who's going to step up to be the next one in line for slapping? I liked the dwarf scene better than the one in the book, it managed to offend just about every family there. Bronn and not Ser Illyn doing the sword training with Jaimie? Was that because the Illyn Payne actor is ill? I really missed Sansa's line about "What have they done to my father's sword?" Tommen has grown about 2 feet, I figured they'd recast the role, but I was looking forward to Margery having a 4 foot tall husband who loves kittens.
  15. Add me to the list of people okay with the intern firing. I'm on Team Diane. What struck me as odd about the shooting is that it was over, Will was dead, but the reporter's phones weren't going off and the room wasn't emptying while crap comic was going on and on. Alicia's keynote speech room went from full to like 10 people in seconds. Do lawyers in NY have better cell coverage? Wonder if Eli let Peter stay clueless so Alicia could get away? I liked the flashbacks, but wish Alicia would have spent more than a few seconds with Diane. She sort of wandered away after hearing "he loved you".
  16. First post here and I wanted it to be in my favorite, can't miss show. Kudos to the Kings for not taking the easy way out and having Will move to Aruba, leave the firm, or go into a coma, or even give a deathbed speech before they pulled the plug. I'm a JC fan since the days of Sports Night and have loved his work as Will on this show. Sudden death should be shocking, and messy, and leave all kinds of problems behind. Wrapping it up with a long farewell to each person would have been too easy. I think watching everyone deal with the loss (or gain, in the case of slimy Peter) will be fascinating and can't miss viewing. PS - I fell off my couch when they did the reveal. Maybe I could sue "LG" (not the washing machine company) for injury? :D
