  1. First episode I've caught this year. If the Hamlin brats are now regular cast members, it will be my last. They're not entertaining and they're not intelligent and they took up way too much screen time. Dorit bothers me. Can she be a one and done?
  2. There was a Texas adoption once too where the guy was "too busy" to come to New Orleans. So, she drove the dog to the guy's townhouse and had to go back 2 days later. Seems the dog barked while on a walk. Was hoping that after that fiasco she'd make people come to her rather than spending the time and money to drive to them.
  3. The family asked for a pit bull and got a hound. From the looks of the house, there's no way they were ready for a slobbering dog, it was too "showroom" for me. Not surprised Norma Rae came back. Something seemed off, besides the phony Christmas theme.
  4. I didn't know how much I missed this show until it came back tonight. Solid reboot. Missed the first 15 minutes, but I'm really impressed with the new writing. I've got Hulu, so I'll watch it again tomorrow night. Guess they couldn't sell Maddie? Maybe we can book her a seat on Juliette's next flight? And are we supposed to believe that Rayna would rent a classic car and drive back along dirt roads? Was she avoiding her oldest or are private planes too scary for her? Javery is back! Poor Emily got dragged out of bed in the middle of the night to babysit. Some things never change! Was that Rhiannon Giddens singing in the church?
  5. When I went to a taping on October, one audience question was who did Trevor want to interview the most. His reply was President Obama. So glad he got the chance, this was a really good interview.
  6. Okay with this final four, but none of them will make a mark outside of the show. Are they hoping next season's sponsors will be Dollar Tree and the local recycling center? Because otherwise, the love of "unconventional/ugly" this season was a total head scratcher. Surely there's a Best Western somewhere closer than Austin?
  7. I will not miss Sunday and her fried hair. Or Will and his man voice. Starting to root for Jay now. This has been one of the better seasons in a while.
  8. Bought this a few days ago. Fabulous. https://www.amazon.com/Making-Outlander-Official-Guide-Seasons/dp/1101884169/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1480563314&sr=1-1 Avoid the kindle version, you need the full book to do the photos justice.
  9. I gave up on the show 5 minutes into this episode. I tried to like it, and I do love biting black comedy, but it's like a drama trying to be a sitcom. And I curse as much as any Jersey woman, but if you took the curse words out of this show, it would probably lose a good five minutes. I was waiting for Hannah the dog to start barking out swear words.
  10. Next week, Erin will surprise us all by embellishing another shapeless coat. And Dexter will wait in vain for the street walker challenge to arrive. Not sure why Natalie is still there, the hem was coming out, and it looked like the coat was winning the battle with her poor mom. Okay with affected laughing Jenni going home. I'd have auf'd the whole bottom three. AARP? Why would they sponsor a challenge with all the "matronly" shade these judges have been throwing? Of the top 3, loved Mah Jing's the best, but would have been fine with any getting the win.
  11. That's 3 undeserved saves for Erin the bedazzler and hoochie mama designer Dexter. She's a one way monkey, and he has the worst taste. In a perfect world, that red crap fest should have resulted in Dexter getting booted too, then Tim could have saved only Cornelius (which would have been awe). And Cornelius is a better person than I would be in that situation. I'd have walked away from Erin and her fake hug. Can we hope the judges are finally over her?
  12. Who was the guy years ago who made the same rose design over and over? Ven something? He had an ego that reminds me of Erin. She's totally a one way monkey. Too interested in bedazzling the crap out of stuff and skating past the judges. We've had 2 weeks in a row where she should have been auf'd. Glad to see Laurance finally get the win. And I'd buy Nathelie's coat. Knew Brik was going as soon as he picked that weird fabric.
  13. I turned it off. I'm now baking cookies. I'm out. It wasn't even well done, and it doesn't help that I hate JDM as an "actor". Bite me Gimple.
  14. Why are tacky sequined pieces scattered on a garment now considered high fashion on this show? If that's on trend, then my mother's senior center will be holding fashion week soon. QVC reference, it's Quacker Factory!!! Alex was always too insufferable in his talking heads, but he did have a classy exit. Too bad Nathalie is still there, that top looked like road kill.
  15. Another marathon tonight. I love this show. Perfect antidote to politics.
  16. Back again. Finally watched the show today and realized they cut part of the Marsden interview (a story about learning to ride a horse for Westworld). They also had Lewis Black do a piece on people not wanting to vote this year. And it wasn't on Monday's show, but it was on tonight. Really interesting to see it show up.
  17. It was totally worth the aching feet. Guests are pretty much a crapshoot, no clue who will be there when you order tickets. Found out it was Marsden a few days before. He has a warm up comic, and did 1 pick up line after the show. Friends who was with me said Stewart did several retakes. And Lewis Black was hysterical.
  18. I was at Monday's taping. Stood in line for a few hours, sat for about an hour, walked to and from the train station, took time off work. Went in wondering what Trevor would be like. And he was amazing. Polite to a really odd audience question about politics, talked about the show before and during the breaks, thanked everyone for coming, a total class act. Was laughing so hard at times I missed the next comment. He went off script a few times ( I could see the teleprompter) and it was funnier. Marsden was charming and very handsome (hello Cyclops!!). Totally recommend going if you ever get the chance.
  19. After tonight, I hope Caila takes herself far from this incestuous nest of pit vipers. Bucket of tears was still throwing shade, and Jared the wimp just sat there. And happy that Nick got the spot. Was not looking forward to Luke or Robby. Worthless guest "celebrities" tonight, and, as usual, Sean sat there doing little.
  20. I loved Connie in FNL, but this show was not a good fit for her. So, I'm excited to see if they send her "on tour", or just do something totally outlandish and soapy with the character: kidnapped, desert island, memory loss, tragic facial accident, shot by Maddie/Cash/whoever, hairdo like Sia so we can't see who it is...
  21. :) The bucket of tears is back. Ugh. Daniel needs to be on every season. Maybe next season he can be Jorge's assistant?
  22. Great acting as usual from Shiri and Constance. Not happy to see Jeremy come back as an antihero. Once Coleman and Yael laughed about Rachel's rape (at 12 years old!), I wanted to see them burn. And I knew they'd head off the embankment, too many anvil heavy shots of the car. End shot was an interesting throwback to last season. They thought they found good guys, but their happily ever afters shattered and they're left with Chet and Jeremy. I hope it gets back on track next season, but there were good moments this year, they were just too few and far between. And a highlight for me was the way Jay was written, he fought for the happy ending and got it.
  23. I never thought I'd say this, but I like Nick. It only took Josh being a dick and Amanda not having the guts to walk up and say "sorry, dude, I'm in love with today's date now." Best part of the show was Evan lying in bed while fireworks went off in the background while Carly "bubbles" popped up. Love these editors! Am I shallow for wanting prettier people on this show? Izzy's mouth is huge, Vinnie looks busted, and Leah was just a pile of makeup and bleach. Pick.
  24. Constance Zimmer was amazing in this episode. Just fabulous acting. Not surprised Coleman turned out to be a dick, and can't wait to see him ripped up piece by piece by the dynamic duo. And with cameras in every room, there's no way his fling with Yael will stay a secret.
