  1. Is Gothel also Joan Crawford? I guess she is rather a Mommy Dearest.
  2. Once actually grew from last week -- people wanted to see Zelena? Belatedly realized it was back? It was ABC's highest-rated show of the night (which, admittedly, isn't saying much). It has been steady at 0.5 for quite some time. This week: 0.536 Last week: 0.489
  3. Ha! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! If I could put what comes out of their mouths into my garden, my plants would flourish!
  4. I'm still partial to "The Disenchanted Forest" that we on the boards cooked up awhile back for our "Offscreensville is Better" idea that never came to fruition.
  5. "Hush" is my favorite Buffy ep. And boy were the Gentlemen creepy as hell. Just thinking about them gives me the wiggins.
  6. Mine came with a piece of plastic to slide it along with. I was just being stupid and not using it. I always use it now!
  7. I don't know any particulars, but my guess would be that Andre Braugher and Andy Samberg would have fairly large salaries, comparatively. Terry Crews, too, maybe. Plus, Fox doesn't own it, so the profit is less.
  8. I learned that lesson the hard way slicing an onion!
  9. TV Grim Reaper is predicting Once will be canceled: "Once Upon A Time – low ratings, old/expensive"
  10. Ugh, WTF? Not to mention it would destroy the CS happy ending.
  11. Here's the Buzzfeed list maryle mentioned: https://www.buzzfeed.com/ishabassi/i-just-constantly-laugh-at-archie?utm_term=.kvzGBd3k1e#.jedGa4Aey
  12. I'm skeptical that ABC cares enough about the show anymore to step in. If anybody would, it would be Disney hoping for future cross-promotion, but I have my doubts about that, too. But, yeah, A&E are too far up their own rear ends to acknowledge that what they're turning out isn't brilliant.
  13. This article has a lot of info about it. It mentions that leads on shows like Once make anywhere from $35,000 to $250,000+ just for their guaranteed money for a convention. They can make even more if they sell more photo ops and autographs. "At top conventions, it's not uncommon for a star to earn anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 on top of their guarantee (more if they spend extra time signing)." Really lucrative!
  14. Poor Desi. Stuck at Ponderosa with Cole (so no food for anyone else), total nonentity JP and Joe. Yikes.
  15. Oh, yeah. I'm sure there's a trove of juicy BTS stuff. I doubt we'll hear most or even any of it. But I'd LOVE to! You know there's good stuff.
  16. Some of the people at Spotted Ratings put the in-ep drop down to people who don't switch channels immediately after their local news ends at 8 p.m. I don't know the veracity of that. Other 8 p.m. shows don't seem to experience that big in-ep drop. That must be the schedule in other time zones. In the Eastern time zone, there are syndicated programs on at 7:30 -- Jeopardy, Entertainment Tonight, Wheel of Fortune, etc., depending on the local affiliate. The December ratings should be ... interesting. Historically, Once's December eps have had a significant drop.
  17. Still the rapiest show on network TV, I guess. Their consent issues are beyond troubling.
  18. I highly suspect that it's a dictate from A&E/ABC. I can't imagine Creation would not invite a big draw on their own -- they're in the business of making money. A&E have been nothing but bitter jerks about Emma and Jen since they knew she wasn't coming back.
  19. I especially appreciated the 2015 Cinderella movie. She was treated terribly by her stepmother and stepsisters but was able to keep to what her mother taught her, "Have courage and be kind." She was strong in the face of adversity and didn't let it warp her. She forgave her stepmother in the end but at the same time stood up for herself and wasn't going to have anything more to do with her (looking at you, Snow). She was good but not weak. I loved that movie. I thought it struck just the right tone. It showed us why the stepmother was the way she was, but it didn't excuse her behavior or woobify her because of it. And it even gave some time to the prince and his relationship with his father.
  20. There's no need for a long break now that it's not on Sundays anymore. A large part of that was because of trying to avoid the Super Bowl and awards shows pretty much all February Sundays.
