S14.E20: Reunion, Part 3
OlderThanDirt replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
It was funny that the only part of the reunion when Andy really came alive was about the idea of Kyle buying a house across from LVP.- 208 replies

S14.E20: Reunion, Part 3
OlderThanDirt replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I can't remember the ages and don't care, but Dorit with children closest in age to Teddie's could have easily reached out to organize some activies for the children together. In my world it would be sports and school driving but even a swim would be good. Of course she'd send the nanny, but still the offer would seem obvious, for a normal compassionate human being. Texts or flowers, which she didn't do either, are really meaningless.- 208 replies

In the past hasn't there been a rule that if you've been UTurned once, you can't be turned again? If so, I think Carson and Jack & Han and Holden seem like the obvious choices.

S37.E05: It’s Not Personal, It’s Business
OlderThanDirt replied to chitowngirl's topic in The Amazing Race
Lori did hug Ana as J&A were leaving and said she loved her. She spends her life refereeing 8 boys and heaven knows she's competitive, so I think her reactions were understandable, -
S37.E05: It’s Not Personal, It’s Business
OlderThanDirt replied to chitowngirl's topic in The Amazing Race
All of Jonathon's statements at the mat were about "my running of my race". So in character. Didn't they say in the first episode that they had been separated and came back together to run the Race. So they separated after her ectopic pregnancy? Way to support your partner. I was surprised that Scott and Lori's attention to detail failed them in the coral challenge. It seems like they should have replicated the coral on one leg at a time. It took J&A only 3 tries without paying attention on the first attempts. Was it 7 or 8 for S&L? Why are the teams not paying attention to Carson & Jack as a threat? I guess they aren't paying attention to how the pack is finishing, just the leaders. -
Garcelle Beauvais: Coming to Beverly Hills

I wish Bravo would do a short mini series of travel adventures of Garcell, Sutton and Jennifer Tilly.- 278 replies

S01.E08: The Mystery of the Yellow Room
OlderThanDirt replied to AnimeMania's topic in The Residence
Talk about ripped from the headlines. There was even a reference to Greenland. When did Wynter put the journal in the library? He wasn't done for the night. And I'm glad the murderer wasn't the most recognizable actor. I hate it when a recognized name is playing such a minor role so you know they will turn out to be the killer. -

I enjoyed the opening scene in Spanish but it made no sense when Elsyie spoke almost unaccented English on her job. -
Loved using The Third Man theme for the closing music.

If Vegas guy (Matt?) understood the drum score so well, why couldn't he and the instructor have coached Everett the way Scott got his partner to the 1st try win? -

S15.E17: Reunion, Part 2
OlderThanDirt replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
It feels like they had a third hour planned, but decided during the "Long, long break" to cut their losses and wrap it up. They didn't discuss the season at all, just that last night. Every time an issue was brought up, the guilty person copped a plea and said I'm so sorry.- 79 replies

Gramto6, how long do you think you can live by yourself where you are? I'm just outside Seattle up on a hill and I'm staying home today because of a few inches of snow but lots of potential ice. I worry about you over there in Montana. -
S01.E05: Presents and Clear Danger

I liked that the caregiver gave Charles a reality check on his plan to spring Guys and Dolls on Gladys. I'm glad the writers didn't go for the easy magic solution. I usher for a local theater and met a 90 yo lady who came to a performance of Brigadoon with her daughter who brought her because the mom had directed the play many years ago. They both said it brought her back to her life. -
S14.E09: Beachy Keen
OlderThanDirt replied to Salacious Kitty's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
It still feels like this is all an act by Dorit and Kyle to appear relevant this season. It also diverts attention away from what's really happening between Mo, PK and their wives in this separation period where presumably divorces are being negotiated. -

That wasn't even a quilt. It was scraps of fabric basted to a piece of material. The edges weren't finished and removing the basting stitches should have taken five minutes. It was an insult to real quilters to even call it a quilt. She probably had the tee shirts for years and basted it together for a storyline. I'm not a quilter but I can sew and I was insulted. -
Anyone else jonesing to hear Kate and Ben do some Galley Talk about this season? I think Cloyce has improved over the season while Daisy is deteriorating.

What was Robyn's point in saying Kody doesn't want more wives but she would be open to plural marriage if she had 'guarantees'?

I like that on Nick at Night they don't have the long segment of commercials after the intro song, but go right into the story. -

I've started making a wish when my digital clocks show all the same digits, like 2:22 or 11:11. I started one summer at a VRBO when we were waiting for a maintenance man to come and fix something, delaying our morning activities. When I said "I wish he'd get here", saw the clock was at 11:11, and his truck turned into the driveway. Ipso facto. -
In one interview somewhere, Janelle said she organized the receipts and sent them to the accountant. If they really had an LLC, this would make sense. Doesn't explain who made the decisions and paid the bills.

Congrats on the new video system. I think you'll be amazed by how wonderful it is to record shows so you can zip thru commercials. Even starting 15 minutes after the show starts is so rewarding. -
Do you think season 2 will bring back Judith's husband?
