  1. I asked Melanie and she said that the ribbon was to tie in the black and white theme.
  2. I blame the Disney movies for giving women the idea that a marriage proposal is a victory. A man who proposes quickly may be using it as an HOV lane to having a place to live with a wife who can support him. I dated a guy who was all "I want to have a baby with you" blah, blah, blah. Turned out he had already done that with three other women! And he was a great Dad if not paying child support and romancing other women for a place to live, be fed etc.
  3. Noon gets Kyle. Kyle is young and kinda cute. His house is a mess but he moves to a new home so that she will feel more comfortable. He appears to have a kind and easygoing personality. Kyle is trying to make Noon feel at home with the Thai decor in the apartment and customizing the ceremony to her culture. New Orleans while it is a little crazy at night is a beautiful, vibrant, multicultural city with great food, music, etc. Kyle has friends! He has nice friends who seem to care for him and are supportive of their marriage. He made a formal proposal that was very thoughtful and supported by his friends. Nikki gets Mark. He is OLD. Age is just a number and his number is dusty. He is very set in his ways. His home has a gorgeous view but his focus on saving money and not being in debt has left the place dated and unexciting - and full of pictures of his ex-wife to a Miss Haversham level. He has done VERY little to make Nikki feel welcomed in the home and the community. He hasn't been shown introducing her to any friends - and there are NO laughs in that house. His proposal to her was a casual question with a wire tie. Mark has no focus on making the wedding or marriage special for Nikki - she could be any young gal who is willing to awake at the whistle, sign the prenup and service him.I think that he fancies himself as a character but the man is joyless. His daughter Elise is very kind and cool so maybe there are some lovely facets of Mark's personality that we haven't seen yet even after all of these episodes. He even makes a trip to NYC boring - he probably took the poor kid to Sbarro's after vetoing the dress.
  4. "All the Gold in California" - I saw him perform in Barcelona last month and have a massive crush on him forever now.
  5. Vince Vaughn is horrible. Wooden and hollow. Rachel McAdams is killing it. Just spot on.Colin Farrell's character is a bit overblown but the paternity issue should come into play in some strange and awful way. Some of the plotlines are a little overblown and hackneyed like Colin's typical out of control alcoholic cop and his sneaker fueled rampage, the tacky erotica in the tossed apartment, all of the phones calling the drunk folks was exactly like the scene in Bosch. Should be interesting to see how this plays out. I was thrilled to hear Nick Cave in the closing theme!
  6. Since all three couples are divorcing will they bother to have a season 3?
  7. http://starcasm.net/archives/318916 Divorcing
  8. Hmmmm They are both actors - are they trying to keep in the limelight? Or is Ryan a hard core psycho dope dealer. He did say that he made lots of money... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3125281/Married-Sight-star-Jessica-Castro-files-restraining-order-against-husband-Ryan-Nino.html
  9. Davina is a self absorbed wannabe princess. That guy is dodging a bullet getting out of this mess and is just making time until the final meeting. Interesting about the theory that he is gay - that story about the miscarriage had a "my girlfriend is a model in Canada" vibe to it.
  10. I think that Jaclyn must not stack up in the sack for Ryan. He is backpedaling as fast as Wylie Coyote. Davina and Sean are fascinating to watch. Needy, self centered control freaks who spew self help love language baloney. They both want what they want and don' give a rats behind about anyone else. And who could live in that broom closet of an apartment? I am buying Ryan and Jessica. I don't know why but I am!
  11. This show is a fascinating study of PeterPan self absorbed cheapskate asshats. Most of those wives need divorce attorneys not new homes. Folks if you decide to have children your life will change. You can't still have your bachelor pad and pocketsful of money when you have little ones to care for.
  12. !!! When Rick and co were running through the compound did they run by a fenced area filled with dead body parts? I thought that I saw a rib-cage. And those fellahs in the control room or whatever. NEVER TRUST A HIPSTER PEOPLE! This episode is the first time that RIck has made any decent decisions. Slow approach to Terminus, burying the weapons, being aware. I don't know how in the hell he saw that watch. I thought that they were good to go once the hipsters returned their weapons. I am thinking that the food was probably drugged or roofied somehow? And then the folks just get herded into the car? There were a pile of plates near the entrance so the folks must have walked there with them right? The actress who plays Michonne is the best actor on this series hands down.
