It's back! I really enjoy this show and hope it gets a better following being on Prime this season. Very similar to last season. Looks like they are dropping one new episode each weekday. We've already had a no insurance car accident case. Today's landlords were beyond the pale. Judge Judy would have told them she was sending the tape of this show to their insurance company!

Just got to watching this this morning. A little lame for a finale. True and Ashanti are probably the couple I was the least interested in seeing more from. Truly thought Rob and Teeny and kids were being set up to be the new Brit and Marcelino. Rick aged 10 years in 6 weeks. Wonder if he's off the wagon. I hope Mike stays locked up for a long time for Joey's sake. Glad Candace cut Andrew free. What a sad sack. Guess we will have a new cast of characters in a month or so.

Cringiest moment for me. Chelsea asking Jimmy if he's ever mistaken for a celebrity so she can drop her delusion that she thinks she looks like Megan Fox! I had to rewind that scene to watch it and laugh again. Matthew and Amber had to be production plants, right? But to what end? I think they might show up again later.

Forget what I said about the house being gross. It's a clean Palace compared to that car. -

Hi all! First timer here. Watch the show religiously though. Jasmine's screechy voice is extra grating in that bikini somehow. -
Poor John Oates. No one guessed or even considered him. (Have to admit, the growly singing voice was a surprise.) Then, he got about 20 seconds unmasked before exiting with no singing farewell (that was broadcast) and he didn't get another second of air time. A legend like him deserves better imo.

S17.E07: A Honeymoon Rockier Than the Mountains
Merriwind replied to Emma Snyder's topic in Married At First Sight
Orion seems not to realize that if the word "redskin" had not come out of his mouth, it would not have been part of their conversation. Professional victim. Lauren just pontificates. They can go home anytime. I think Brendan has a nasty temper. His parents intimated as much at brunch. Emily went from life of the party to acting timid and fearful. I don't like that. Clare clearly has zero interest in Cameron. She never even makes eye contact with him. Granted, he can be a little stilted, but she hasn't given this a chance at all. So, I guess the only couple I have any hope for is Becca and Austin. They seem to be getting along great, but it's early days. Becca has serious health issues, and I think some of their interaction comes off as fake, but to be fair, the whole situation is a strange one. I'll root for them! -
Watching Milton shovel food in his mouth while Lydia droned on and on about their relationship was comedic good. Shout out to the posters who mentioned the non-stop parade of crop tops. Some of them aren't even crop tops in my estimation, but undergarments. More power to the ladies for feeling confident enough to make those wardrobe choices, but I don't need to see their torsos in every scene. I feel like there was wonky editing with the Izzy finance story, but wow! We saw that finances are important to Stacy during the house tour. That was the time to bring up your bankruptcy. I'm really hoping that nobody gets married.

Oh my goodness, I can't decide who deserves the most desperate award more: Lydia or Johnie. Please, buy those women some self-respect. I'm hoping they both are desperate for more TV time and their shot at stardom not these doomed marriages they were begging the men to propose. I am probably going to hell for saying this - and I am certainly dating myself. Poor Milton on the couch in his athletic shorts, white socks pulled up to his calves, tragic hairdo and mustache really look like he was wearing some circa 1983 budget Lionel Richie Halloween costume. Whoever said a thread that Izzy and Stacy are the only ones with chemistry is spot on. Who'da thunk it? Also, 1,000 upvotes for the suggestion to limit the cast to ages 30 and up.

Call The Midwife dropped on Netflix today and I have devoted several hours to starting my binge of the most recent season. A few episodes in, I think the absence of Sister Hilda, Sister Francis, and Lucille are felt deeply. Add to that no sign of Violet or Timothy or Reggie for a couple of episodes. It's just feels like the cast has really thinned dramatically. I don't even remember seeing sister Julienne this episode. Has the show's budget been drastically slashed? I am used to not being fond of new characters on Call The Midwife, but never have I had a visceral reaction like the one to Sister Veronica in her first couple of episodes. This episode was a bit of a redemption arc, but it is a shame that she needs one already. I have never noticed the missing scenes before, but the editing has just been choppy as all get out this season. I kept rewinding thinking I had missed something, and then read here and realized what was going on. I love the old characters who remain. Phyllis has become my favorite character by far. Hoping Nancy will grow on me more. Superficially, Dr Turner may have found himself some Just For Men and sleep over the filming break. He looks younger and less haggard than he has for a couple of seasons now. Thank goodness. He was really starting to look like Sheelagh's dad. Trixie's dinner party was awfully cliched, but kind of sweet too.

S04.E23: Life After Lockup: I Plead the Fifth
Merriwind replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in Love After Lockup
I just binged watched the last several episodes. Does Shane have no family? Where is his mother? He needs a parent so much more than his manipulative, much older, porn star wife. At 23, he is a baby—a baby who spent his brief adulthood in prison. And Ray, just run. Don't look back. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders, but Britany is never going to be happy, so neither will you. Daonte, please listen to your mom. Doesn't your head hurt from banging it against the wall so many times? Also, the previews make me suspect you might be color blind. -
Wouldn't a surgery to transplant an artificial heart be planned out to the minute? I can't imagine the lead surgeon could be pulled a matter of hours or minutes from scrubbing in due to an upset supervisor or non-emergency patient follow-up.
