It didn't occur to me that if she stood more erect, she could walk in a more graceful manner. Perhaps the slumped posture indicates that this "Brave Woman" navigates through life protecting her vitals and leads with what she considers her best feature, her overdone eyes.

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!

Janelle should be assigned her very own bathroom for those times that she has enjoyed a feast of canned cabbage. -
Proud of you for calling her out Joan. Meri breastfed Maddie a few times as an infant, the defensive attitude must have transferred as a result.

You could be right and if that is the case, girls raised in the polygamous lifestyle have even less self respect than I thought possible. I would feel a failure as a mother if my daughter publicly humiliated herself the way Meri has done, all for the love of money. It certainly wouldn't be to ensure that the program continued for the benefit of Kody, Robyn, Janelle and the rest of the family, Meri simply isn't that self sacrificing. Or, another thought... Maybe she still holds faint hope that by showing Kody what a resounding success she can be without him, it may arouse some inclination in him to hitch his wagon to her star.

I'm onboard with your train of thought Turtlepower. While Meri has no control over her bone structure and resultant gait, she does have control over her demeanor. It seems to me that the role of first wife should be that of mentor and guide. Had she not bullied Janelle or ridiculed Christine, she may still be firmly entrenched as HBIC, and there would have been no need to bring Robyn in to the fold. Meri is the author of her own misfortune.

New school, new people to meet. She's establishing herself from the get-go as someone Truely unique. -

Now that you know it's arthritis and not a torn meniscus, you can direct your energies to easing that affliction without worrying about the possibility of making matters worse by walking with a torn meniscus. 💜 -
Enzo Padron and Mateo Padron...they have a nice ring to them and are very distinctive.

Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
Sandy W replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Assuming she said that even last year, in the 18 years they were married at that point, that would have been 28 moves in 18 years. No wonder she seems comfortable having her stuff in cardboard boxes. Enormous adjustments for the kids with schools and new friends. Maybe that's why Maddie is easily able to toss aside her goals and make new ones. -
Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

If your choice is a liquid beverage for breakfast, wouldn't a tetra pack of Boost or Ensure be a more nutritious, balanced option? Less fuss and muss and probably one tenth the cost. -
She forgot to filter those shoulders. The photo appears to be someone holding a filtered photo of Meri in front of a linebacker's torso.

Abiding strictly to the above edict would prevent any mention of Meri's antics on FFW, Janelle's lack of established housing, Maddie and Mykelti's pregnancies, Christine's adjustment to her new life, Audge and Leon's transformations to name just a few topics that are posted in their respective threads. None of these topics have been addressed on the show as yet. Even any mention of Avalon would be out of order as her birth has not yet been dealt with on the show. This would make the Social Media thread top heavy with comments and leave the other threads nearly 2 years behind in the comments. Very confusing.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Sandy W replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
The stark reality is that if they were truly a Family, there would be no hesitation about Kody and Robyn flinging open the doors to their home and welcoming Janelle, Savanah and Meri. AuroraBreanna and Savanah could bunk together, Sol could share with Dayton, leaving Meri and Janelle with their own rooms. Kitchen and cleaning chores could be rotated weekly. There would be no need for a nanny with 6 adult or near adult women in the house. This would save them several thousand dollars each month in rentals for Janelle and Meri, plus moving expenses for their hopscotching around Flagstaff. Short term pain for long term gain. Never going to happen though, as they no longer consider themselves family with a common goal to build on Coyote Pass. -
Long before Covid, I always carried tissues in my pocket or purse to use on the doorknob when exiting a public washroom, then dispose of the tissue in the nearest trash can outside. I have seen far too many people use the facility then zoom out of the room without bothering to wash. Once in a shopping mall, I encountered just such a person serving food in the food court!!!

Sitting 6 feet from unmasked people is a good idea but also be aware that an infected, unmasked person may have sneezed in the direction of the paper towels in the public washroom. You use that paper towel after you have washed your hands, then possibly put your hand to your mouth to eat something shortly after, thinking your hands are clean because you just washed them thoroughly. There are so many ways the bacteria could be transferred it makes me dizzy.

Janelle's employment future looks bleak. She was hopeless at real estate and I think she knows there is no future there for her. She held a government job in Utah, I think in accounting but her skill set there would require tremendous upgrading to catch up with new computer technology. Her best bet may be to offer her services as a bookkeeper to small businesses. As far as personal assets are concerned, she has an interest in the property on the Plains of Plague, I'm not sure if her assigned lot was one of the ones paid in full on purchase or if it carries a mortgage. She has the RV, which may or not be financed, in any case, it is depreciating in value daily. She came in to an inheritance when living in Utah and dumped it into the Lehi house, which was sold at a loss. On second thought, she may not be someone I would take financial advice from as a small business owner.

Me too. I would miss so much not seeing the facial expressions and body language of the participants. For instance, cheers were given to Janelle for saying "Fuck You" to Kody but the impact was lost by her throwing it over her shoulder as she walked away. It would have carried far more weight if she had gotten right up in his face and said it.

Meri's compass is off kilter. That wasn't the North Star, it was the Green Godde$$ that came into her vision. She saw an opportunity to exploit her pain and laid her dignity and self respect on the altar of greed.

I have no idea how the gaming world works but it may be that Tony finds it necessary to attend conventions/shows to present his concepts to a broad audience of those in that industry. In any case, it seems to be lucrative for him, shortly after he began this endeavor they purchased a second home, keeping the first as a rental property. They also drive nice cars and don't seem to want for anything. I don't think Mykelti would be earning enough through her various MLMs to afford this lifestyle.

Hard for those of us raised in a monogamous culture to get our heads around this mindset. All these years of watching the show and I still don't get why anyone that wasn't raised on a compound with no exposure to the outside world would voluntarily choose this life. I can only assume their motivation comes from a belief that there is a greater reward on the 'other side' where they can continue with more of the same for eternity.
-
Thank You Cetacean for saying this. The deal breaker for me would have been when he refused to attend Ysabel's surgery, he could have found a way had it been important to him. Christine's breaking point was when he declared that he would never again be intimate with her. Priorities.😕
-
It would be poetic justice for her to experience what some of her downline have and be forced to sell her inventory for pennies on the dollar at local flea markets. She may then adjust her arrogant attitude that it isn't just a case of lack of hard work that leads to failure in MLMs. If you don't have a hook like TV exposure, were in at the beginning, or have a very broad network of friends and family it would be a struggle beyond reason.
-
I wonder what goes through her head as she is busy with the filters. Does she really think she's fooling anyone? Her followers must watch the show, that's where she drew her customer base from. If it wasn't for the show, she would be just another LLR hustler trying to sell plastic clothes to plastic people.

Love it when they hairspray or gel the comb over down and a stiff breeze lifts it like a trap door. -
If she fed them a balanced diet with plenty of water, there would be no need to regulate her "littles".
