I think I read somewhere that Meri's family adopted the polygamous lifestyle when she was about 7 years old, so even if she wasn't born to it, she was exposed at an early age.

Meri has spent too much time at Disney's Magic Kingdom. She has convinced herself that with a little help from filters, the Real Meri Brown emerges. She also believes that in time, her Prince Kody will arrive to sweep her away to the life she so richly deserves.

She should start with the basics and get those damn teeth fixed. She now has another brown tooth in her lower jaw. One day she'll bite into one of her Rice Krispie treats and find a tooth imbedded in it.

Polygamy truly is a man's world. Men have a variety of wives to spend time with, all vying for his favor by attempting to outshine the others as mothers, homemakers and in the sack. What's in it for the women? Swallow your pride and dignity? Develop a bond with the other women? Share in housekeeping and child rearing? I managed to raise 3 kids born within 3 years, keep an orderly home and for bonding with other women I had cousins and friends. One friend of 70 year duration, will be coming from across the country to visit with me this week. I wonder if any of the Brown women have anything in common aside from a shared husband?

There's a method to the madness. By asking for recommendations to coffee shops, they may ensure getting free coffee for a few weeks by giving a shout-out to the establishment. I wonder how Mariah and Audrey will fit in the Denver LGTB+++ scene in Denver. The Denver friends they posed with last week were well groomed and well dressed. By contrast, Mariah and Audrey were slovenly.

I forgot about Audrey when enumerating Meri's 7 part/full time employees. Meri has designated Audrey as the Director of Marketing (or some such important sounding title) for Lizzie's Heritage Inn.

Let's see... She would have Jenn to run the BnB, possibly still the lady that came to cook the breakfasts, someone to pack and ship LLR for her, the Professional Monitor to oversee the comments on her Instagram, most likely a cleaning lady for her home, landscape and snow removal service for the BnB and her home, she may even stretch it by claiming she employs the attendant that pumps her gas, serves her in a restaurant, or cuts her hair. She definitely isn't paying a fashion or image consultant.

Greedy may be the perfect adjective for her. If I had publicly humiliated myself the way Meri did, I would have quietly folded my tent and slipped away to anonymity. There was nothing left to hang onto in the family, by their own admission, there had been no intimate connection between Meri and Kody for several years at that point. No rapport with Janelle or Christine and Robyn was cunningly using her to solidify her own position. Instead, Meri decided to brazen it out, claiming that she had done nothing wrong and had been victimized by a predator, at the same time asserting that she was not a victim. All the while, turning the tables by indicating that she had heroically gone along with the Catfish to "save the family" from some unrevealed threat. Opportunity time! By remaining in the spotlight, she could elicit sympathy and capitalize on the benefits derived by starting up with a new MLM. I could not have done that and don't know anyone else that could have.

Girl has GOALS!!! Meri the Mogul envisions herself as the next Elon Musk what with 7 full/part time employees an all. She modestly refrained from mentioning NYT best-selling author in her list of accomplishments, so there may be some humility there. No one could accuse her of being bereft of a sense of self-deprecating humor, why else would she present an overly filtered photo of herself with mysterious ears?

Oh, I had thought the pool had been removed before when Maddie seemed to express surprise when she said something like...can you believe there was a pool here? when digging for a garden. Thanks for clearing that up.

Mormons in general and the Brown's in particular, seem so firmly entrenched in MLM's as a legitimate way to make a living they will probably never change. The carrot is always dangling just beyond their reach. If Janelle had applied the skill sets she does have to another government job when they arrived in LV and later in AZ, with additional courses and credits taken, she would no doubt be in the $100,000+ wage scale. Couple that with the security of prescribed hours of employment, health benefits, pension plans, paid holidays and sick leaves, she could have been on easy street by now. Instead, she chases the elusive "get rich quick" dream to her detriment with no hope of retiring in comfort some day.

Canadian girls = fire and ice.😂 Everyone here contributes in their own ways, overall, none of us are confused by the Brown bunch.

So, I guess it's the Professional Monitor/Blocker that has me on a time-out from Meri's Instagram.🤣

I think I read once that she has an assistant, someone to do her packing and shipping of LLR. Someone once said that when watching one of her "lives", she called out to her assistant to "block 'em" when they made a less than flattering remark about Meri or the LLrags.

I have never signed up for Instagram either, I can access any of the links except Meri's. Edit to add:- tried it on both my laptop and phone and got in on both.

How about a couple of hand held battery operated fans? If it's an indoor venue, it will probably be air-conditioned.

Is anyone else here locked out of Meri's Instagram? I was blocked about a month or so ago, despite the fact that I have never commented there, the only motive that I could think of is that I may possibly have liked a less than favorable comment made to her. I seem to have been on a one month s*it list because I was able to access the site again about a week ago. Now I'm blocked again. I have no problem accessing Instagram sites for any of the other Brown bunch, so it isn't a glitch from this end. I have to wonder if she or one of her minions is monitoring this site.

Chances are the above ground pool was sitting on a supportive concrete slab that was covered over when the pool was removed. The listing realtor may have advised them to remove the pool because as it sits, it's a blight on the landscape.

It's amazing to me what the older Brown girls will do to curry favor with their father. Mykelti must have been aware of the neglect shown to her mother and yet she entertains Kody and his real family "every few months".

Last I recall of them on the show was when Bonnie passed. They stayed over with Meri for a few days enroute to Lizzie's to take over running the place until Jenn stepped in to manage it.

So true, but speaking from my own perspective, if we have to witness another birth episode I would rather watch Mykelti/Tony go through the process. Mykelti is unlikely to condescendingly explain what the terms are for various stages of labor as Maddie felt compelled to do. Tony will be more animated than doofus Caleb was and Mykelti took to motherhood without a single whinge about how HARD it is to find balance in her life after giving birth.
