Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
Sandy W replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
When Robyn presented that sketch to Kody, she demonstrated the only real emotion I have ever seen her register. With trembling hands and quivering jaw, tear filled eyes fixated on Kody's, one would have thought she was unveiling the Gift of the Magi. -
Leon seems to have a defiant "in yer face" attitude, deliberately wearing unflattering clothing and greasy looking hair. It seems as though they are up for a challenge if anyone should dare to remark on this. They seem to thrive on controversy.

Probably very true. Maybe too much reliance on the older kids to keep a watchful eye in the young ones. At least C and J weren't distracted by placing more emphasis on cultivating a social media presence as Maddie seems to do.

The instant she suspected what was going on, she should have dropped the phone and raced to the bathroom. He could have hit his head on the faucets and knocked himself out. Could have been very dire consequences.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

Robyn's was a sketch appropriated from a photo of Kody with Christine's kids. Everyone recognized it for what it was and an audible gasp went up from the group when it was displayed. -

Wedding dress was hideous but in fairness to Annie who made it, they were forbidden direct contact with each other, so no fittings. Worse yet was the orange and gold number she had custom made for the Commitment Ceremony. OOFF! -

Just to make it more like a knife in the kidney, there should have been cheese sauce on her chin and David gently dabbing it away. -
Looking for Mr. Goodbar or maybe just Mr. Goodenough.

So much emphasis on the wedding rather than the marriage. It seems a bit over the top for two 50 something people to go full tilt. Admittedly, Christine didn't have much going on the first time around, but I see nothing wrong in a civil ceremony at their home with a gathering of close friends and family. A good incentive to get that basement and loft finished in their new home. At least she will finally have an official certificate to adorn the wall. -
Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)

Until I noticed the candles, I thought it was a lasagna gone very wrong. -

I agree. We all know couples where everything seemed right...met in their 20's, dated, engaged for 5 years or more, some even lived together before marriage, so they would have been aware of any unacceptable habits. Then boom! Less than 5 years in to the marriage, maybe even kids by then, and it's all over. -
I think it's Meri's ego and inability to admit she is wrong about anything that motivates her. She may hold hope that demonstrating what a "wonderful, fun filled life" she is leading without him may be an attraction. Also, she is earning enough that she can offer him security from his greatest fear, poverty.

She remained steadfast and steady throughout. I may have burst out laughing over the kidney performance. -

Meri was half way through the job when Janelle arrived. She thought they were just having a meeting to discuss the decor.😅 -

Note the full wine rack, although no one seems to be imbibing. -
The color and length do suit her. Where it falls apart for me is the lawnmower look to the cut and the amount of product she must use to get that "lift" away from her temple and forehead. I'll bet her hair squeaks if touched.

Breanna looks a lot like Robyn on the rare occasions we see Robyn smile. When Meri was busy filtering her face, could she not have done something with that raggedy hairdo?

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
Sandy W replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I want to see K and R's beady little eyes darting left and right like rats caught in a financial trap. They seem to have a plan though, maybe by transferring all their assets (ill gotten gains) to this DABSKAR corporation they formed, it may shield them from those wives that invested in Coyote Pass and their home and adjoining lot??? -

Doesn't sound like practical Janelle. Unless she has Air Miles she wants to burn off, she may as well drive the 8 hours to SLC, rather than zigzag down to Phoenix, incurring a 2 hour drive. She then pays for airport parking as well as inconveniencing someone to pick her up at airport and drop her off at departure, then another 2 hour drive Phoenix to home. Besides, if she takes her own car, she is free to visit with Mykelti and family or other friends in the area at her own will. -
The contrast between the 3 OGs and Robyn was remarkable. After 6 kids each J and C were built like brood mares and M was built like a Clydesdale which she amply demonstrated on moving days. That alone would make superficial Kody's lil pencil snap to attention not to mention Robyn had that special scent she threw out there.

Thanks for clarification. Sailed right over my head.

I dunno. Didn't seem like her best life when she didn't have a real marriage for many years prior to the catfish incident. It seems to me from the way she so quickly latched on to what she believed was a male, that she really needs a man in her life. She publically humiliated herself for years trying to gain a crumb of attention from Kody. I also would not believe that Meri is altruistic enough to give a damn about money coming in for anyone other than herself and exposure to benefit her MLM and BnB.

Nice crowd of clumsies. Guess they are having fun and that's what counts.
