I was surprised that we saw Danny twice. I figured once he said he was going to PT that was the throw away line for him to be gone the rest of the ep. I do wish we would get more Danny & Steve. I don't mind Grover and it was nice to see Chin shirtless. The scene with the fishing made me smile.

I doubt they will ever go there, but one interesting new twist would be both brothers sent to someplace bad and dependent on each other to survive. I wish they had done that Season 5. Oh, well hopefully the show will match up to the hype. I'm hoping it won't be a big let down. On a shallow note, I wouldn't minde more shirtless Dean.!

I suspect that Gad will betray Metatron because otherwise he most likely won't survive. Plus I think the seeds of doubt has been created from this last ep. It would be nice to have the brothers once again be together fighting for team free will so if this tie in helps, I'm all for it. It could be holding the blade supercharged the mark and Dean doesn't really need it now. I mean Cain fought without the blade in First Born, so maybe...but I'm still hoping we see Cain again. I have a feeling the end of the season will create a strong need to write some stories. LOL.

Well I always like when we get some Danny and Steve moments. As far as him walking too straight, I had surgrey and my ex-sister in-law ( was sister in-law at the time and a nurse) asked me how in the hell was I walking so damn straight. When she had the surgery, she could hardly stand up straight. But I do have a high tolerance to pain, because every time I go to see a doctor about some minor thing, it's never minor but more serious than I ever thought it to be. So I can give a little slack for it but I would have prefered Danny to be taken to the hospital with a bit more angst. :) But at least we got someone hurt, because I don't think I could buy not a scratch on either guy. I was surprised about Amber, I guess I've missed too many shows and just didn't know about her. But I wouldn't worry long about the relationship as the track record, they disappear way to fast.

The actors are strong and I did find some moments to like but isn't it time to really address the issues between father and son? His line about "Get out of my House" only further's the issues, because the next part is stated as he leaves the room. I think the last scene would have been so much stronger if there had been just a bit of humor. I wanted to love this show because I loved Selleck so much in Magnum...but it's just not happening.

That is what is so wrong about this show and until I saw your post I couldn't place my finger on it. The lack of humor. Selleck as Magnum was truly fun to watch but the family issues are so dark and heavy it gets tiresome. Danny's new partner is okay, but I enjoyed the actress they fired more. Guess you can put me in the column not really watching and not finding a reason that I have to watch. I just realized the rest I said doesn't belong in this thread, so deleted it since it didn't belong in this thread

What a cruel way to die. I loved Chin's high-school pictures and there were several fun moments in the show. Catching the guy in the maze was a really cool. Although, Danny should have shown he was hurt more. On a shallow note, I'm really looking forward to next weeks. :)
