  1. Yes, please don't string me up everybody, but in the pic Turtle shared, I thought Robyn looked pretty good. Way better than she looks on the show, where her hair looks like a weird brown plastic helmet. The pic was from far enough away that I couldn't see her eyebrows well, but that shit also needs to stop....yeesh. I was trying to see them too, because I've noticed Christine's eyebrows look normal in her social media posts, but once in awhile look over done in her TH's, and Robyn doesn't do social media much, so I was trying to see if that is a trend. Is TLC doing their makeup for them for TH's? If so, the ladies should stop letting them, because TLC is punking them. They know viewers will talk about eyebrows!
  2. Also at that same time, their mother put them on a tv show. And to help her kids adjust and fit in, she told those 13 step kids to stay out of her fridge. (I'll be the first to admit I don't want people in my fridge, but I also don't marry dudes with 13 kids....)
  3. Absolutely! If TLC won't pay the royalties to make this happen, then they should pay a composer to write a new song called "Hyper Headless Chicken". And it better sound silly.
  4. If I were Christine, I would get together with Janelle & her crew, and since there's 12 kids between them, and all the grandkids, that would actually be the majority of the family. Screw Kody and his "new family" that he's dumped everyone for. Let him sit there with Grumpy McScroogepants and the nanny. (I'm just being facetious and vindictive...I know this doesn't really solve anything regarding Truely. Kody got on my last nerve in this week's episode.) Kody should actually watch his back though, because this could be possible someday when there's no more TLC baloney to film, provided Janelle grew a spine. I think her kids would back her up on it. When Hunter was home for the summer, he seemed way more interested in seeing Christine than scheduling a visit with Robyn's lap dog.
  5. I think we have a winner! 🤣 It's almost like it was written specifically for Kody!
  6. I was unreasonably offended last week that the laws of the Universe allow Kody to listen to the music of decent people. Kody should be forced to listen to clown music 24/7. ETA - LOL, @laurakaye! We had the same thought at the same time!!! 🤣
  7. That would make sense, so that probably means no, they won't do it that way. Robyn spend Christmas with the unwashed miscreants? Surely you jest.
  8. Dayton has been on this season as well, briefly. He was shown at the cookout. The scene that was shown was that he was standing near Janelle's picnic table talking to Garrison, and was reminded by Janelle that he was "too close". (I normally don't mind Janelle, but I thought this was blatant Robyn butt-kissing.) What do they do? Good question. What does Robyn allow them to do these days.
  9. I think he was, too. My favorite part was once he was in the hole and Kody was excitedly asking him "how is it????" and Solomon quietly said "um, fine?" Translation: "What am I supposed to say here, it's a hole in the ground, you colossal DORK. Calm down! Can I get out now?"
  10. This is Janelle's standard "joke that doesn't really land" with a passive/aggressive message in it. Right now, she's tired of hearing about Utah, it upsets her a little bit, so she says "Fine, give me all the land and you guys can go." She's just blowing off steam. The other example you mentioned, wanting that particular plot, I think you're right that she is voicing her opinion more. That's only half the battle though...she will cave if challenged at all. Look how she backed right down to Meri during that farcical conversation. All Meri has to say is "I'm fillin' a wall coming on!" and she gives up. She also told Kody she was not pulling Gabe out of school and moving from Las Vegas, so this isn't really a new thing. I don't remember exactly what she said then, but it was similar. Kind of a "Fine, move to Flagstaff. Have a nice life." thing. She was talking tough then too, but she is all bark, no bite.
  11. I will give Mykelti ten dollars, but not for a video. I want a written message because I want to see her attempt to spell things.
  12. Do they set their own Cameo prices? Maybe they thought the question was "On a scale of 0 - 100, how fantastic are you?" J said "35", C said "yep, I'm about a 35 too", M said "I am at least a 60" and Kody said "DEFINITELY 99 out of 100!!!".
  13. Me reading your post: "I'm starting to wonder whether we should "dethrone" queen Robyn..." - Cool, I'm in, what's your plan, Lily? "as master manipulator and crown "King Kodouche" as master manipulator in charge...." - Crap. She didn't mean a viewer conspiracy to rid ourselves of Robyn. This sentence did not go where I thought it was going to go.
  14. I think you are 100% correct on all counts. I share the outrage of Janelle's kids - mansion vs RV, disparity in amount of time spent together, and a million other examples - but Janelle just doesn't. Also agree that she will go live by Maddie. Right now she's saying on the show that she wants to be in Flagstaff, but I don't think she means that. She will stay for awhile - perhaps because of the show, perhaps because Savanah is still in school - but eventually she will be fine with a situation where she lives almost an entire country away from Kody, has no romantic relationship with him, and almost never sees him. I do share that opinion with Janelle...I also want to live a continent away from Kody and never have to see him.
  15. This is awesome, and I would watch the hell out of this because: #1 - it would actually resemble polygamy, which this show now lacks #2 - it's just the two screwballs who like this goober so much, and Christine gets to be free #3 - I wouldn't have to watch Meri hit on Kody
  16. Short and to the point. I love this. Thank you, I was wondering about his dumb statement that there was "no shopping" in Flag. Baloney, Kody, you wanted a weekend getaway alone with Favorite Only Wife. And of course, why not? It's not as if they even have to hire a babysitter to do it, having their own nanny and all.... I also love this. I don't begrudge Kody the right to live his own life the way he wants to. We should all have the freedom to be with the person we love. Sometimes people fall out of love and marriages don't work out. However...there is a right way and a wrong way to do that. If you're a monogamist, to me, the ethical thing to do is end one relationship before you begin another. They were polygamists when Robyn came into the picture, so I can't hold him to a monogamist standard at that time, if he intended to be a husband to all, but at some point he decided to be with ONLY her. That's where I have a problem with him. To me, the ethical thing to do at that point was to admit to his other wives that he does not want to be a husband to them anymore. He talks a bunch of bullshit to Christine about how the problem between them is that they each want a different "type" of marriage. Um, no it isn't a different "type", asshole, the problem is that she wants a real marriage and you want her to be your friend with no benefits! But stay true to you, as if she were your wife! And God knows what he says to Janelle but she also believes he is her part-time husband and he just isn't, in my view. He needs to admit to her that they are also just friends with no benefits. He has done that with Meri - not for the right reasons, but because he's a jerk and is fed up with her -but he has let her know there will be no romantic relationship whatsoever. If she chooses to stay and accept that shit sandwich, that's on her. But I don't think he's being that up front with the others. If he wants to end his other relationships, fine. BUT END THEM. The way he dangles carrots in front of Janelle and Christine is just cruel.
  17. Agree. If Robyn asks for something for her kids, it gets Kody right in the feels and becomes his most ardent wish as well, to the point where he begins to believe it was his own idea. If Christine asks for something for her kids, she's a "bitter old housewife". A complainer. A thorn in his side. Even though all of those kids are HIS! He is a vile creature.
  18. I think Caleb is, all in all, a pretty decent guy. I still want to snark on his constant hat wearing though. Cause that's what we're here for. 😉 Some guys really have a drive to be a father, a really good one. They can't wait to get home and spend time with their kids. I had a dad like that and it is an awesome way to grow up. That said, I also agree with @TurtlePower, it wouldn't be a bad thing for Caleb to get to do what he wants sometimes. (maybe he does) It was a little strange to me that she mentioned how much he hates this movie. I was often on my dad's lap to watch tv, but we were probably watching Gunsmoke. 😆 If we were watching cartoons, he might stay in the room but he probably read a book about something that interested him. Who knows, maybe on most days, they have a good balance like that. What gets me is that Maddie is so effusive about it. It's nice that she's grateful and appreciates what she has, but these kind of guys do exist, they're not miracles. Perhaps she is blown away by this because her own dad was such a shit father. A man who decides to create children SHOULD come home from work and spend time with them. Sadly, Maddie's own dad thought his job was done once he impregnated someone.
  19. Robyn fights tooth and nail to be one who gets to have sexy time with this utterly ridiculous buffoon. Let that sink in. That girl's cheese has slid off her cracker.
  20. Victoria's Secret! 🤣🤣🤣 Just buying those tall size jeans and pajama bottoms, of course.
  21. He even grabbed his head and turned it when he was telling Solomon "look, look, here it comes!" about the truck delivering the cistern. I think anybody who grabs my head to force my face in a certain direction is going to get an elbow to the ribcage. This whole interaction was weird. I felt really sorry for Solomon. He's what, 8 or 9 at the time this is filmed? He's a little boy, he doesn't give a rat's fat ass about the giant tank, or Kody's super terrific hole in the ground, unless Scooby Doo and the gang are at the bottom of it. There was a scene last season of Solomon and Kody getting stuff ready to take to the landfill, and that interaction was not like this at all. I hope most of the time, it's like that, because this scene was just all kinds of strange.
  22. All very true. No one seems to have sat down and agreed on some rules where spaces could be used sometimes, but not at all times. I have to say though, there's a difference between a home office, or someone's bedroom, and the living room, to me. I don't believe anyone was going into Meri's bedroom or even wanted to. Something that I think is being lost here is that this is actually not just Meri's living room, it is also Kody's living room. It also doesn't appear they were welcome to use the space by knocking first, either. It became "all or nothing", apparently. Sometimes we all have to do things that are inconvenient for us in order to get along in a larger group. In polygamy, that is sometimes a very, very large group, and it isn't always pretty. Meri made the choice that she didn't want those 13 people walking through that strip of her living room, and I guess she is free to do that...Kody let her make that decision even though it was also partly his living room. However, now those same 13 people don't want to be in Meri's home at all, and she complains that no one wants to come see her. That's the result of her own choices.
  23. Probably. 😆 Also...Mariah probably went to whichever of the apartments in the home she wanted, in order to see her siblings. As well she should, they are her family. Did Meri make sure that the mother of whichever sibling she was visiting was at home, or if not that they were okay with Mariah visiting at that particular time? I doubt it.
  24. Actually, that's pretty much exactly what she was doing, minus the dramatics, which weren't in my original statement. I never said Meri didn't work part time jobs, nor did I say she didn't contribute her income to the family pot. But she quit when she felt like it so she could go away on weekends with Kody, and she didn't earn enough to pay the mortgage. Janelle stated on an episode that it was Kody's paycheck and hers that paid the mortgage, and Meri's paid other, smaller bills. I don't expect any of us to want Janelle's kids to walk through our homes, but none of us took Janelle's financial help, or chose to be part of a family with her.
  25. This was interesting, thanks. 10 bedrooms. So most likely scenario, since M & C's apts are virtually identical in size, is that M had 3, C had 3, and J had 4. J provided down payment, and at the time they moved in, J had more kids. Makes sense that she would need this apt. What doesn't make sense is that they ever put Petty Betty in the higher traffic, central apt in the first place. Who couldn't have seen that coming from a mile away. Christine is a positive person, I can easily see her thinking "Yay! My apt is the hub of our home, everyone stops by!" These people are horrible decision makers.
