  1. Oh Meri, stop embarrassing yourself. It's not going to happen.
  2. I did. He walks on eggshells around her. Even complimented her on how well she communicated! 🤮
  3. I will say though...Christine can't just expect everyone to move just because she wants to.
  4. Oooo, Robyn's getting upset. Which means that will be the end of any Utah discussion.
  5. Speaking of...last season, his rule was to not go in her house, but then he'd kiss her before he left....so much for his social distancing rules!
  6. He says they can make their own choices...the part he leaves unsaid is "and you will be punished accordingly".
  7. Yep...he's just going to keep throwing his sons under the bus, too.
  8. I am, but it took them 15 minutes to stop rehashing last season! Not much to say.
  9. Guys, what is all this talk about pickles! You know if you Meri is in charge that crock is going to be filled with bananas. How soon they forget...
  10. This is what I see in my area as well. Jobs galore, offering thousand dollar sign on bonuses, etc. There's never been a better time to be 49 and be starting over. She can find something decent that would give her a steady income and all the other benefits a real job entails. And even possibly get a sign on bonus instead of shelling out for those MLM "start up packages". I'm glad she left, and yes it will always be a positive that she got away from Kody, but I did a little re-watch of the season finale the other day. Christine states several times that she wants to move back to Utah to get back to their "community"...to "be around like-minded people"...how great it was to see the Dargers...etc. I'm sure it's true that she wanted to be closer to her adult children, but she also wanted to be back in the bosom of the cult. She's firmly entrenched in the polygamy cult and that includes the MLM way of life.
  11. Don't pick apart your life and focus on the things that didn't go as expected, we all have those things, what good does it do you, you should focus on being joyful instead, chatter chatter chatter.... For anyone who doesn't want to read Meri's long, word salad post, I can translate it for you - "KEEP SWEET"
  12. 😆 I agree, that was the best part for me too. Meri is such a vain, phony person. She was totally going to kick that camera person out of her garage and go back inside and re-apply her makeup before continuing with her very time-sensitive evacuation, if her Groucho Marx eyebrows were messed up. The second best part IMO was that despite poor Meri being in such a state of panic that she had to flip out and verbally abuse everyone around her, she still had time to stop and lovingly fondle her marriage certificate. Priorities. 😉
  13. What a way, way happier life for her. These were cute of Christine and Aspyn. Mykelti not so much. 🤮 If you're not going to make the slightest attempt to keep up with your roots, don't color. Ombre is a thing, but not when it's done like this. If Mykelti is too busy enjoying being a mom to fuss with going to the salon, that's actually really great - just live life and enjoy it and leave that hair alone, her natural color would be so much better anyway. This pink-ish color with a bunch of grown out roots just looks unkempt to me.
  14. Hmmm...something tells me this will all be Christine's fault in Kody's mind somehow.
  15. So, if you take away the Eva and Lynn parts, you are left with "nga". Maddie thinks "nga" spells "Janelle"?? Kody gets the full middle name being Kodi, but Janelle gets "nga"? In other words, the "ja" sound in "evan-ja-lynn"? Who would ever be able to decode Maddie's nonsense and come to the conclusion that Janelle is being honored in any way? Janelle, you got screwed. 😆
  16. I think you are correct and I think Maddie is nuts. She's taking two kinds of poison that are dangerous enough on their own and mixing them together. It would appear Maddie isn't learning anything in nursing school. Hey Maddie, there's a thing out there called "protein". It's not harmful to you, it gives you energy, and it fills you up more than something like carbs, so in the long run, you naturally eat less. There's also plain old "exercise", and tons of other options, but Maddie can't sell those common sense things to her nitwit followers... I hope that you're right, but I wouldn't bet on it. This is the same family that gave Truely the magic MLM green goo drink when she was ill, and then let her lay on the couch and nearly die. They want to believe in magic potions. Willful ignorance.
  17. Yep...Meri's self-awareness is completely non-existent at this point. I really enjoyed this quote from the article about Meri & Kody's relationship: "It’s all fake,” an insider revealed. “They’re together for TV, essentially.” YOU DON'T SAY! Thank God OK Magazine had an insider to tell them that shocking info. We "outsiders" never would have guessed.
  18. Ha ha, you guys kill me sometimes. I think it would be funny if they read here, and maybe some in the family do just because they can't stop reading about themselves, but Maddie has kind of shown herself to be one of those "insta-block" people. Say anything negative at all, BOOM you are blocked...she only wants to exist in an echo chamber. And we're pretty direct and snarky...she's probably written us off as "just a buncha haterz!" 😆
  19. She did some very "creative" financing with a cousin or something, it seemed really shady...she was struggling to scrape enough together to buy the place, and even had to talk Bonnie into selling her house. Most people also believe she seriously overpaid for the place. I would guess there's no possible way Meri could be done making her loan payments yet. I would also suspect that a somewhat shady lender, and it not being a traditional mortgage as you say, has probably led to a very high payment.
  20. I completely agree...we've probably all been guilted by someone we know who has gotten into selling some MLM product. Even if they had a good product at a good price (which almost none of them do...it's all overpriced) it's still a disingenuous guilt scam to the buyer, and a scramble to step on your fellow MLM member so you can profit from the pyramid model. There's no "party" - it's a sales pitch, and your friend hasn't reached out to you because they care and want to spend time with you, they want to make a sale. If the friend who invites you is hosting the party and isn't the actual sales rep, they're still using you - hoping you'll buy so they can get more "hostess gifts". I call it "use your friends, then lose your friends". Because people just get sick of being guilted, and start avoiding that person who is always selling some crap. All the wives except Robyn sell MLM garbage, and some of the daughters as well, and they all need to grow a conscience and stop being ugly legging and poison pushers, but Christine's behavior is especially terrifying...she's joining so many! A conversation with her must be a nothing but a bombardment of sales pitches for multiple products. She's going to chase every decent person she comes across away. If she needs more income than just her show income, how awesome would it be for her to get a plain old regular honest job...she's moved to a place where she has lots of family who could help with Truely, so she could do something part-time (employers are hard up for help right now). She could have a reliable paycheck, make friends with new co-workers, and the dignity of not being a con artist. All with the added bonus of everyone not running away from you when you approach.
  21. I'm pleasantly surprised Maddie was self-aware enough to realize that she could stand to slow down her SM use. I'll give her some kudos...this seems like a step in the right direction.
  22. I love some of Schwan's products. I'm spoiled by their broccoli and can't stand the woody, inedible garbage at my local store now. Kody used to be a Schwan's guy. 😜 Probably one of the few times in his life he earned an honest dollar.
  23. Thanks for the whole post and all the autism info for those of us who have not dealt with it in our own lives. About the quoted part specifically, possibly underplaying it on the show...I think that could very well be true, and good for whoever decided that we as viewers don't deserve to know every detail of that. Dayton didn't decide to be on a reality show, his parents did. We are nice on this board, but the internet as whole can be a rude and ugly place at times. Dayton's privacy is more important than my curiosity as a viewer.
  24. Similar for me. I've watched since the beginning, got very bored with them for awhile and almost stopped watching, but about that time I found this place. I've seen every episode and I guess I'm in it until the bitter end now...but there was a time I would definitely have stopped watching if not for this board. They can't hold my interest well enough if I cannot also snark on them. They should really be thanking this board for the fact that they still have a show.
  25. Does she do these to promote the Pampered Chef products? Or is the cooking video thing a separate venture? I don't like MLM's at all, but I got guilted into a Pampered Chef party WAYYYYYY back in the 90's and felt that I should at least buy a little something. And I have to admit, it was a good quality product and I just used the dang thing the other day. I still wish she'd steer clear of the cult-ish MLM's but Pampered Chef is less sketchy than selling LuLaNo or Plexus.
