john is not available ( only for boy child) and lets face it...Alyssa looks terrible...she is totally checked out at this point...she even said herself she has had trouble after this child...not exercising , tired...etc...she does not have it in her to give her kids anything...

my brother is a plumber and learned it in the navy as a pipe fitter...he makes high six figures and works for the federal gov...he did really well....so if Kelton is smart he could do really well....

yep....she will sacrifice or at least change things for the $$$$ of network marketing....and like I said...some of the girls have been seen in regular plain old t- shirts with regular sleeve length....

but did you notice she suddenly got really " modern" after the convention in nashville?? Hair suddenly straight, new more modern dresses? Even the kids clothes are starting to look different. I think she stuck out like a very sore thumb in nashville..and finally realizes that if she wants to fit in with the plexus ladies..she is going to have to up her game in the fashion department. More mainline conservative and less little house on the prairie...baby steps at least is what I am seeing...lets see if the eye make up follows an upgrade...

this makes me so sad...my hubby really can't cook ...but mostly because I love to cook...but over the years he has come a long way...( he once called me while I was traveling and asked me how to boil water for spaghetti..:).) Now when he cooks he does a decent job - he asks questions...etc...He always tells me , its not as good as when I make it though...but if something happened to me..he would step in and take care of me and help in any way he can...

and not only that...what if a spouse dies? the hubby will be fine...he will go get another wife..but the wife - especially if older is SOL...no education, no no experience in the job market...sad sad sad

is it just me or has the clothing gotten a little more modern for Jill and the girls?? and even hair...mmm...nothing like going to the convention in nashville and realizing YOU are not FASHIONALBE....so she may not head towards pants or sleeveless...but...we may not be seeing little house on the prairie...or at least not as much while she gets everyone new dresses...oh...I even noticed the girls in t-shirts...plain and not down to their elbows...the more exposure the kids have the more differences they will notice..and want to fit it or at least not stand out like a sore thumb...we shall see how this goes with the clothes...

my 11 YO Grandson has a type of processing disorder relating to math and social cues/situations...He is very mildly aspergers ...but he has an IQ of 140...and no one knew he had any schooling issues until the end of fifth grade...because he also has an idactic ( I think that is the spelling) and memorized everything...so my daughter had him tested...700$ for that and then counseling every monday through the summer at 200$ an hour....and he goes to a very good private school.---and will have a private math tutor a few times a week after school.....all that to say...poor Gid...He needs much more than tutoring 2x a week.

and you can see the line of healthy hair/new growth...the contrast is shocking....but that is what good nutrition does for you...shiny thick glossy hair...and her skin looks good too...

we should change the name to Carlin and Evan: but mostly Evan. As he has pulled way out in the lead of Camera hog... My daughter had 2 kids...8 and 11..works from home..this summer has been nuts ...I have kept them some and done some events, Her MIL the same...we have all worked together to make a good summer for them..some camps, trips..etc....this week went off the rails as her boss was on vacation, and her coworkers Dad had a heart attack...so it has just been her from the team running things...but guess what...she managed to take her son to his therapy appt on monday, go to the grocery, run out for school supplies and all the other things that parents do...and she didn't complain once...its called adulting with organization and family help........

Watched or should I say I " tried" to watch Jeremy's sermon....I sped back and forth, watched and listened...this comes on the heels of me studying the Aristotelian ( Greek) way of Learning Vs. the Hebraic ( or learning through the lens of the ancient - Israelite/ Jew) way...East vs western way of thinking...and my 2 on Jeremy is...He is well down the path of his peers in seminary, great formula, practiced...

if he was really smart, he would take the electrical knowledge he has and specialize in some kind of design business...He could make lights out of vintage items, he could do custom upscale design on homes, he could do put that to good use with his IG presence. Become a subject matter expert. Show the homes/yards/business -- or the simple how to's...then sell and create a product...but the thing about E...is he is a legend in his own mind...and what he is selling...I aint buying...there is no benefit for me...at all...him nor C....I do think Josie and Kelton have a good IG presence...not perfect but way better than C and E....Kelton cooks, Josie does tutorials....C and E could learn a thing or 2

Carlin and Katie both posted on IG last night...they are sitting on a couch and Carlin literally grabs Hailey...grabs her from Katie and puts her on her lap...you could tell by Katies face...she did not like it...I don't think Katie and Travis are as nonchalant with that baby as C/E are with their two kids...and I am going to be watching what they post online and see what the interactions are ...also wondering if K/T are staying with C/E...and lets just see if they continue in the same buddy buddy utopia after this trip.....

Its not the southern accent..its the " cutesy phrasing"...drives me nuts...I am originally from Ky...I have a southern drawel....no weird words....If I go west people ignore me...if I go north people think I am a hick and look to see if I have shoes on...But when I lived in Europe EVERYONE wanted to hang around me...lol....it was the novelty I guess....

its a real shame that we even have to put up with this " healthcare" system...it should be available for everyone..

I was lurking on FB last night and the gal I told you about - that was in IFBlP was really letting it all out...She is so traumatized and her family ( of 10 siblings) is an absolute mess- she was reacting to SHP....If Jill and Jinger went through half of what this gal did...I feel much sorrow for them...It is probably going to take a lifetime to come out of the trauma from that cult...The fear alone of the outside world must be so triggering....

it could relate to homeschooling but...Kevin Leman ( I think that is the guy) wrote a book on birth order. The oldest has either traits of an only child or older sibling - the first born is usually the smartest , because they get one on one attention , at least for a little while ( I am the oldest with traits of an only child - not close to my siblings at all) . He also says as you go down the line of having more kids, the fifth child is the dumbest ( I am paraphrasing - lol) and then the intelligence cycle starts again as the older children interact with the younger...It does make a difference as far as sex too...Its been so long since I read the book..But I will tell you my fifth born sister is dumber than a box of rocks...There is also the labeling in the family..as in one child is the black sheep, one the rebel, one the martyr, one the savior,...etc etc...I do think there is something to who educates your child...but just as important are - attention and nurturing ....

and then I add..."and I don't necessarily want to see it or hear it"...lol

I had a few thoughts running through my mind about the documentary... 1. What does Jill rod think about being shown in it? 2 How are the bates going to react and will they say anything on social media 3. Was Erin bates Bill gothard's type and what is the story with that. 4. I wonder if any of the bates and duggers still in the IBLP will watch it and come out of it... 5. Will Jinger still straddle both sides of the fence 6. Jessa , Jessa..mmm will she make a move.... and one thing that was weird....the one lady in the orangish dress...I think she was the historian...she sounded like Jrod...and so I always thought it was her on the screen...lol

I am giving all the kids a pass...from the point of...they have ALL come out of trauma! Even Derick...losing a father = trauma....what happened to the dugger kids = trauma....as someone who is dealing with the fallout from my own traumatic childhood...and then working and studying with people who have also come out of trauma..I have a lot of compassion for all the kids..... I see so many things they do as reactionary...as searching....have they made mistakes...yes...when you look into parts work, DID - (on a spectrum) , nervous system work...( and more) you can just SEE it...in all they do...most people in life look for 3 things...A place to belong, unconditional love, and purpose...All those kids were either denied all three or it was conditional...so good for Jill and Derick and any of the kids taking the first steps out of truama-by telling their story...and I think they may surprise us... oh and just to add-- when I talk about why I or (we) do what we do ( from a trauma perspective)...I always refer to the scene in Karate kid when the kid wants to be trained and Mr Miyagi goes and tells him to wax on, wax off...paint the fence etc....the kid gets mad...he wants the training...and then you know the rest of the story..when set through the paces to " fight" - its ingrained and reactionary...its muscle memory -- this is what these kids are dealing with...they have been trained in these beliefs...so their first reaction to anything is to respond with what they know and what they have been trained in...there will be fits and starts...but if we look back ...we can see the stuttering starts of walking out of the trauma.... edited to add...Josh at this point --does not get a pass from me...although I do blame the parents for not getting him the help he needed...maybe he could have been rehabbed at some point at a younger age...but he is paying for it now...!!!

a good regime...neti pot rinse at night..and then this little (alkolol) rinsing thing..(you can look on amazon)...its blue, you put it up to your nose in the shower and it runs from the nose to the back of the throat and then you spit it out...I find this to enhance and even surpass the neti pot...and a good eye wash...eyebright tincture with a washing cup is good......oh and take some homeopathic stuff for your region..and mmmm throw in some bee propolis so you dont' get an infection...but for kids...they make this gel you can rub inside the nose that traps the pollen....the things you do when you live in the ohio valley and deal with allergies!!!
