  1. So tired of singers who cannot seem to enunciate the word to the songs, DR I'm looking at you. (OT) Also you, Ariana Grande, the queen of the mumble. Listening to the judges responses, every one of these contestants is a STAH. I would love it just one time if one of the contestants said something like, "I appreciate your praise, but could you please tell me how you think I can improve." Or maybe that is only appropriate in the rehearsals. Ha ha ha, same here for the Sonos speaker response to Alexa's name.
  2. Just saw that Atz wrote a book https://www.adn.com/arts/books/2018/02/10/atz-kilcher-memoir-combines-tough-truths-with-homestead-tales/
  3. Can the ‘The Voice’ winner Chloe Kohanski be the show’s first real ‘superstar’?
  4. You know how you can dislike someone who you have never and will never meet? And that colors everything about that person and what they do? So that things that might otherwise get a pass get a sneer? Yeah, that. I have seen w-a-a-a-a-a-y more of Adam Levine's self beloved naked body than I would ever want to. Not hot, IMO. And certainly a google and a half away from how hot he thinks it is. Of course, the baby is cute. Plus I don't like What Do Lovers Do, thought I did when it first started, then it got tedious, IMO Plus how appropriate that it starts out all about him: "Tell me, tell me if you love me or not, love me or not, love me or not?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOrx3cmPhUk
  5. Honestly, couldn't agree more. A seasoned SUV detective, an obviously distraught girl with unknown history who clearly and forcefully says more than once, "Don't touch me!" And this seasoned detective continues to advance with his hand out in spite of her strong and clearly stated objections. How could they script this character be so arrogant and ignorant, both as a human being and as a "trained" sexual assault team detective? Her objections were so clear, and he ignored them. And continued the unwanted approach. Have to admit, that scene did disturb me.
  6. I enjoy Miley as well, and think there is a true substance to her that was overshadowed by her younger self's behavior. To me, she comes across as real and intelligent and well versed in her craft. Enjoying her so much as a coach, and agree that she is truly vested in her team.
  7. So, on with my distaste for this person who I will never meet, who made following comments to Megan and Ashland after their battle: Adam to Ashland: "I'm mad at you, you didn't choose me." Adam to Megan: "You also made me super sad. This is nice, two people who ruined my day." Again, my opinion only here, but way to make it all about yourself, Mr Ego. A little analysis of their performance, which could be possibly be of use to them, was minimal, imo. Can't say enough that I'm fairly sure there are those who feel differently. Room for all of us here, imo.
  8. I'm thinking maybe Liv and Danny from Blue Bloods should get married. Each of them seems single handedly capable of solving every crime in their district. And for me, this episode has the sappiest ending ever.
  9. Thanks! Here's another: Alisan singing Smells Like Teen Spirit with Postmodern Jukebox
  10. You know, I have always admired her way of approaching fame, but this made me a fan for life.
  11. Just wanted to thank you all. Didn't realize so many people still watched this show. So interesting to read your intelligent, thoughtful posts. I'll look forward to this season much more knowing I'll be able check out this forum for others' view of the story, acting, plot lines, etc. Actually rooting for Brooke to be a good grandmother, because I always notice that Noah seems (to me) to have a lonely existence. It would be best for both he and Liv, IMO, to have at least one other person in his life who loves and spends time with him.
  12. Life & Style magazine says that Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant
  13. Thanks for a different viewpoint. Still don't care for Adam Levine, though I'm glad you enjoy their banter.
  14. Have to admit I have become a Miley fan. She seems honest, and like she would be fun to hang around with. Plus I do like her voice, and her sense of humor. "My voice is deeper than either of you guys." "Yeh, I'm Dorothy, you're Toto, get in your basket." Said to Adam Levine , which of course endeared her to me. 15. Does anybody have any current news about Alisan Porter?
  16. I am sick to death of Adam's moronic (why yes, I DO think he is the actual moron) schoolyard name calling. Honestly, is he stupid? Can he not think of anything more clever than "You're a moron," or "You're so stupid?" Such a bully, and unkind, and pretentious and unaware of how he comes across. I think he thinks his ridiculous (imo) words and actions make him look cool. I wish Blake would just mete out some country justice and hog tie him. Adam Levine, to me, is a preening overblown self congratulatory idiot. With eyes that are too close set to look anything but suspicious. And yes, I know that he can't help the distance between his eyes. It's just that once I start on the many ways I view him negatively, it is hard to stop. Not a Maroon 5 fan, but even if I was, I wouldn't be just because of Adam Levine. Pretty amazing to me how strongly I feel about someone who I have only ever seen on The Voice, but honestly, I think I have him correctly pegged. My opinion only. Beyond ready for a replacement judge. Did I mention the overbearing smugness?
  17. Not sure which is the one Kim reacted to.
  18. Has this ever happened? I can't remember a time, but my memory is as bad as Mariska's acting.?
  19. http://people.com/tv/kim-kardashian-panics-unflattering-bikini-photos/ I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but if I could revamp the Kardashians, one minor detail I would take care of is their over-use of the word "literally." https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/43a75q/dictionary-meaning-internet-speak Even though I know that it is now acceptable in the context in which they use it, I still cringe. Just part of their hyperbolic lifestyle to use it constantly as emphasis, IMO. Additionally, I find the avidity with which Kim reacts to her unflattering beach photos unflattering. And I guess I will never get over their feigned surprise and dismay (or is it delight) that they are always ferreted out by the paps. Again, wouldn't the camera crew that accompanies them be a red flag?
