Yeah, I hate that one, too, although I can't really say why. It just skeeves me out for some reason. I mean, it's just some pregnant women dancing, and they're perfectly well covered, but it's just icky somehow.

Eh, I enjoyed it. I see the flaws and acknowledge that it wasn't great television, but I thought it was a decent way to spend an hour a week. I wasn't bothered by the red herrings, as I feel that's kind of par for the course with this kind of story. I think the abbreviated timeline made them more obvious, because with a ten-episode series, they're not going to reveal the killer in episode six. But if the show was open-ended, the truth could come out at any time. I'm okay with Ellie hiding her kid's involvement, except for how it affects him (lack of therapy, etc.) In reality, Joe was the cause, and Tom was innocent, so in my mind, justice was served. I don't think the Salanos gain anything but more agony by knowing that Danny's best friend was the actual "trigger" man.

I'm with Spruce. I know I'm a hero, and one other person, and building on that, there are a few others I'm guardedly confident about. I think? but could be wrong, that "bark" has a higher melting temperature than regular chocolate. My mom and my sister both use bark for things like chocolate-covered peanuts, because it stays solid at room temperature and is slower to melt in your hand. Tabbyclaw, I've made marshmallows before, and people absolutely think you're a wizard! I've actually had someone say, "you can MAKE those?" Well, they don't grow on trees, so yes. A trick I learned awhile back is to just pour it into a mason jar instead of putting it in a pan and then cutting into squares. It takes less time, you don't have the powdered sugar mess, and it's a handy and clean way to store it. It's not quite as company-friendly as squares, but if it's just for me, I just spoon out what I need.

The only two religious songs I can think of from Blake's team have been this one from CWB, and the one from Holly Tucker. And both of those were contestant picks, I believe. And both of them had strong ties to those songs that pre-dated their appearances on The Voice. (I'm no fan of either CWB or HT, to be clear, or of super-churchy songs outside of church.) I sincerely can't remember any others, but my memory for this show is blessedly short. Can someone remind me of the others?

I am insanely excited about this... My guess would be that he's not the villain, because he's expressed many times his concern about being typecast. We'll see! How crazy is it that we'll get this movie before we get new Sherlock?

Thanks for the recommendation! I just watched it, and it was indeed awesome. What does it say about this show that I prefer the grifters over the "heroine" from the core family? Anita has ALL of Victoria's numbers. Really enjoying what I've seen so far of the new guy. I've missed Adam. This show needs a solid gray character SO badly. Enough with the Dudley Do-Rights.
