  1. Luis looked Hispanic/Latino to me, not Caucasian. Yeah, not buying the "I will do anything for my kid, mother's instinct" angle. I just think the chick is lazy and knows it's easier to sit on her ass at home and scam gullible dudes (because she is soooo good at it!) vs. getting her ass up every day and going to school or getting a job. I know not everyone can find gainful employment - I get that. This chick though? Uber lazy vibe to me.
  2. You know, I was wondering the same thing. I sort of watched a few episodes for the current season and they didn't do a 2-month follow up on another episode either. I miss the update segment. I hope TPTB don't eliminate it. Oh, and I hated that non-feeling, non remorseful sack of shit that is Nae. Luis seemed like such a nice guy. I hope he learned a little something and finds a great girl.
  3. Forgive me. I absolutely hate cleaning but what is the point of people using mops to clean up the raw sewage? Isn't that just spreading bacteria and disease around instead of taking care of the problem? How can that be sanitary or proper cleaning? Granted I don't know what the proper solution would be, but gross!
  4. Yep, and I correct myself. It's "inexperienced" NOT "unexperienced". But you are a thousand percent right. You get me. Also, I have never heard of a drink called a "Painkiller" until last season. Never Googled it but now I have. I may like me some Painkillers ..... (Sorry, Sierra. I don't want/am not looking for Ibuprofin). RADIO CAPTAIN LEE TO THE GALLEY - STAT !!!
  5. Who drives over a coral reef, you say?? AN INEXPERIENCED STUPID ENGINEER/DRIVER. (But of course you already knew that times a thousand). What the hell was wrong with that driver?! Is it just me? Thank gosh those kids were just so drunk and didn't know the difference.
  6. I stumbled upon an "update" site regarding The Profit and what Marcus predicted was correct. There are two lawsuits against Tea2Go. One lawsuit suing the father and another against the father Jeff and son Taylor. Wonder if Marcus is going to help Taylor with advice/legal help now that he's being sued.
  7. That father was the hugest dick to his son (and a dick in general). I'm glad the son told his dad the truth about his feelings and their relationship. The father handled it all so badly (surprise!) and calling his son "a mistake" was some straight up bullshit. Forcing the son to call him dad with the threat of physical violence if he didn't was truly bizarre. Just odd. The term "Dad" has to be earned. Sperm donor does not equal father. I know the son was letting the dad pay for his cell phone, car payments, etc. and I have no problem with that because something just tells me that not only wasn't the father around at all the entire time his son was growing up but he prolly never paid a dime in child support either. I loved that Marcus told Taylor he would pay for him to finish school and make sure he would draw a paycheck when the dad fired him. Marcus is going to be more of a father figure/mentor to Taylor than Jeff (the "dad") ever was. Taylor should just work with Marcus after graduation and forget Jeff.
  8. Wasn't digging or feeling Ro. That laugh sounded like a honking horn. Agree with too much Kate/Ro PDA. I didn't need to see that for 5 mins., 1 min. would have been enough. Kelly's becoming annoying where Emily is concerned. I thought I saw in the season highlights that Sierra was crying saying she felt like she'd been used? Wonder if it was because someone slept with her or .... ?? I don't get the vibe that Sierra is certifiably BSC like Nico and Kelley keep referring to. A dim bulb maybe but cut your penis off in the middle of the night with a butter knife? No, I'm not feeling that at this point in the show although it is early. Sierra's got a very pretty face and a slammin' body. She has amazing boobs and they're real. I'm surprised Kelley and Nico don't want to sleep with her and favor Emily instead. I hate Emily's hair color (it looks like a bad dye job) and when she wears those huge black eyeglasses she looks like a straight-up owl. I don't see the attraction. Oh, and Emily? Shhhhhh, shhhhhh. It's okay for Kelley to remain topless any chance he gets.
  9. BWAH HA AH HA HA !!!!! But seriously, as midwesterners, me in SE Wisconsin and Shannon in Northern IL (same neck of the woods) - Hee. Pronounce it correctly so we know how! I laughed loudly at this because I pronounce it the exact same way as Meghan/Megan. Ha! Tamra's face/eyes/expression when she was uber hyper ventilating while Shannon held her? GD people - those of you who know their way around a computer need to make a gif/meme using Tamra's disturbing expression. Well. Tamra's face looked totally fake and smelled of amateurish bad acting to me ..... Tamra knocks Ryan (from Teen Mom OG) off the proverbial throne tonight because his eyes were crazy as FUCK in tonight's episode and viewers are going ape shit over in that thread. I.cannot.unsee.Tamra's.scary.eyes. But the question is, is it real? Over acting much?
  10. Regarding Tyler and Cate - I don't think it's good (unprofessional) that T & C see the same therapist for individual counseling/therapy. I think they should be seeing two separate counselors unless they are in couples therapy. My GF went to a therapist and raved how amazing the therapist was. Shortly after that my GF's mother decided she needed therapy and starting seeing the same therapist. Shortly after that my GF's mother started making snarky comments to her, backhanded comments, etc. The therapist told some very private things regarding my GF that no one else knew to the mother. My friend was positively devasted. The mother had a big mouth and started flapping her jaws to friends and family. It crushed my friend. I told my GF she should report the therapist and hunt for a new one. I say this because I think Tyler and Kate's therapist is dippy.
  11. OMG THIS TIMES INFINITY. Man, I was just coming here to say that. My Gosh, Ryan's eyes were looking like they were going to pop right out of his head. Love the Barbra meme. Thanks for that!
  12. I had a childhood friend (our mothers were close friends). We were on and off friends for over 25 years. Tammi's actions/affect/mannerisms remind me soooooo much of my bipolar ex friend it is down right scary. The way Tammi acts is the exact way my friend used to act when she was off her bipolar meds (for whatever reason) and doing opiates. The last day I spoke to my ex friend was this - "think" (Tammi just the way she was acting before she raged on Duffey). My friend was semi-calm but irritated because the printer was malfunctioning at my place of work and I could not print out a document she asked me to. It was no big deal and I told her I'd get it the next day. My friend picked me up from work and when she heard I failed to get the piece of paper she wanted she very calmly pulled the car over on a very busy city street, yanked me out of the car like a rag doll, grabbed my sleeveless blouse and yanked it off my body so fast it was like the "tablecloth" trick. I was standing in the street in my bra and my work skirt. It all happened so fast but ohhhh, man, Tammi's crazy expressions and her over the top, violent behavior reminds me of my friend to a T. My friend was also talking about people needing their asses beat, snatching people up, dragging them around, having to go to jail because she had to kick someone's ass. No thank you. Tammi should not be on the show. She is too violent. I know that will probably never happen because she's Shaunie's cash cow and she brings the crazy.
  13. Seriously, WTF is WRONG with Tammi. She's straight-up scary. She looks heavily medicated.
  14. I died. I wanted to watch the entire documentary but I got so depressed after trying to watch it (3X). Man, I am embarrassed but I had to turn it off. I was tearing up and I didn't know why. No Bueno. Couldn't do it. I was intrigued about the documentary as a whole and I tried. This was a GREAT documentary though. Very Good. Loved it and I would recommend. Will say that. However, the documentary depressed me greatly. I get it - I know the financial divide. I am not wealthy. I live in an wealthy area and my children constantly ask me why I can't get them the $600 plus phones they covet (plus the monthly fees!). I die .... The concept of the Avenues Schools is quite lovely !! (I have lived abroad and taught in Japan, China, South Korea, and Indonesia as an ESL instructor/teacher). The show was very well executed. This is a great documentary. I felt the Avenues students seemed incredibly out of touch. The wealthier students said the correct phrases Always. Rehearsed. The students said the right buzz words. The wealthy students said the right things but :( ..... I dunno. I think the rich white kids didn't/don't actually have clue ..... Do they? Did they? How could they? In their insulated bubble it seems impossible although they repeat the right phrases. The closest the wealthy kids had to experiencing "poverty" was walking across the street from the projects where the "poor" people lived. Was that enough? Why didn't the "Avenues" 50K a year school at least have the uber rich, privileged students do quarterly fund-raisers for the uber impoverished "have-not/project" students who live directly across the street from them? I mean, the Avenues schools touted themselves as globally focused and worldwide, no? How about looking, seeing, and dedicating one's self literally in one's back yard, no? Just sayin'. Pissing me off. Soooo depressing the whole documentary was but I guess that was the message the director was trying to convey.
  15. OMG - Sophia is a weird combination of neglect and over-indulgence. THIS. THIS. ALWAYS THIS. Oh Ghouliana, I love you with the fire of a thousand suns. You always say the exact appropriate thing.
  16. I agree with you M - I was excited to see the show but soooo mediocre that I switched to some other non descript cable TV show in after about 10 mins. (and I'm being tres generous here - it was more like - 5-6 mins if that). could already tell I hated it and it was so disappointing. IMHO the WRITING SUCKS. I miss King of Queens very much. I still watch the old episodes when I come across them. Witty writing/scripts and dynamite cast and storylines. I see this franchise not seeing a second season. I'd bet on it and it's a shame.
  17. Question - what/which network is this show on? I'd like to catch it.
  18. Yeah, and what the hell is sewer money? Never heard that term before.
  19. I tried to watch it again the other night and I lasted about 20 mins. :(
  20. I couldn't figure out what the fight was all about. Every time Tre started talking in her screech voice the dog high tailed it out of the room. Milania making those perfect pancakes (she's no joke!) left me in awe HOWEVER Joe should have told her that spraying Pam into an already hot pan over an open flame no less! is a huge no-no. She could get severe facial burns doing that because of flare-ups.
  21. Smartest way about starting the boutique (i.e. - online store vs. brick-and-mortar version). I'll give her that.
  22. Okay, is it just me? but as a parent of a 7th grader (12 year old child) and having a kid technically a year older than when Andreya started her you tube thing would any parent out there in their right mind let their middle schooler have a regular you tube channel? I mean, talk about opening Pandora's box for every psycho, weirdo, pedophile on the planet, etc. Why would a parent allow this? I'm not saying the parents can practically monitor every.single.thing. on social media that their kid does (because it's easier said than done!) but my question is, where are/were the parents in all this when it started? They had to know about it and why didn't they shut it down? Also, on a superficial note Nev is borderline mega creepy and I hate the way he's always playing up for the cameras (i.e. - picking up all the dead phones and pretend answering/talking into them). Yeah, I've had my quota of that. Maybe I just am too old. On the other hand, Max ... I like that silver fox.
  23. Hee. Love you for the reference .... Kadooz indeed ;) OMG - those @#$%$ swings at the bar. Is it just me or is that THE WORST EFFING IDEA / LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN for the owner(s) of said bar? I.just.don't.get.it. And I am not a small business owner. Looks like the Paul Mitchell Hair Model / Senor Deck Hand is getting his walking papers (a.k.a. - plane ticket home courtesy of Captain Lee Air Lines) next week? We shall have to see ....
  24. Sierra is dumb. Giving Captain Lee coffee with an unopened sugar packet in it, scorching the bed sheets ......
  25. I just laughed out loud when Kelley was staring at the girls doing yoga. I like the sweaty, pissed off Kelley as well. Trevor as a hair model? His face is so odd.
