I thought the family said they had just moved to LA, I had wrongly assumed that they moved there to get away from wherever they were living with the father, but the 14 months ago flashback showed the dad living in the house as well. I am guessing that the dad moved out, but I am not even sure of that. He seemed pretty comfortable there after the wife disappears. I still don't understand how they can afford that house. If all the anomalies are giant holes in the ground, I don't see how the one in the Mojave desert closed up or did they just cover it up with something to keep it secret?

I think Jan was the the first chair, since they made a big production about bring out another chair. Jan had been gone for quite some time, so the orchestra found someone else to play her part. When practicing they know what to expect when playing with the new person and had already made their adjustments accordingly. Jan would be a wildcard.

There was a "Special Preview" of Day of the Dead Episode 1: The Thing in the Hole on the SYFY channel, Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 11 p.m. - I am guessing these are not your typical Zombies where damaging the head incapacitates them, and getting bitten or scratched doesn't turn you into a Walking Dead. I would have sworn that the Black Mortician Lady, Lauren Howell, was bitten and scratched several times by the Zombie that was attacking her, yet she didn't turn. She smashed the Zombie's head and stabbed it with a microphone stand and it was still moving. Lawnmower Man, the one with Cargo in his Shorts, Cam McDermott, ran over the head of a Zombie with his lawnmower and it still kept coming. Here are the names of the other people on the show: Paula Bowman, the rootinest, tootinest, fastest shootinest, Mayor of the city. Luke Bowman, douchey son of the Mayor Sarah Blackwood, who was fracking ex-Special Forces Amy, a life coach, and daughter of the town doctor (not sure if we saw her in this episode) Detective McDermott, Cam's asshole cop father Nicole, the Mayor's adulterous assistant Luke Bowman, the Mayor's cheating husband Lazlo, creepy funeral home owner K-man, Luke's Black friend They missed a comedy opportunity, there should have been someone at the funeral that was so happy that "Pepaw" wasn't dead that they shout "I prayed that you would come back to us!" and immediately run up and give him a big hug, only to be savagely ripped apart.

That was the cleanest thing that she did. First, don't remove a sterile needle from it's plastic case until you are ready to use it. Don't hold it in front of three people for several minutes while you have a conversation with spit droplets landing on the needle. Then don't run your dirty finger along the entire length of the needle before you insert it into a persons body. I don't think putting her dirty finger in the fluid coming out of the needle would have had any negative effects. This is what I was thinking, there were several beams of light shining from the roof of the cave, some of them were quite large. There was also water flowing from the cave into the pond, check for the source. I am kind of surprised there are not more animals running around. If they are eating and cooking food, something large or small should be curious. They should find a source of water, there should be plenty of animals hanging around there. Throw all the food you don't want into a pit and something will come to check it out.
