‘Dead Boy Detectives’ HBO Max Pilot Sets Main Cast (EXCLUSIVE) Not the best place for this news, but since the “Dead Boy Detectives” appeared on Doom Patrol, some people may be interested. L-R George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri, Kassius Nelson George Rexstrew will play Charles Rowland, Jayden Revri will play Edwin Paine, and Kassius Nelson will play Crystal Palace. Charles Rowland and Edwin Pain are two boys who have died, but decided not to enter the afterlife in order to stay on earth and open the Dead Boy Detective Agency to investigate crimes involving the supernatural. They are joined by Crystal Palace, a living psychic medium. Additional cast includes: Alexander Calvert as Thomas The Cat King. Briana Cuoco as Jenny, a mildly punk butcher and a confidant of Crystal Palace. Jenn Lyon as Esther, a witch obsessed with youth and immortality. Yuyu Kitamura as Niko, a boarding school student intent on joining the Dead Boy Detectives agency who now lives above Jenny’s butcher shop. Ruth Connell will play Night Nurse, a demon that controls the flow of souls in the afterlife, she played the same character in the DC series “Doom Patrol” on HBO Max. The Dead Boy Detectives would be a one hour TV Series on HBO Max.

Santa Inc. is a Christmas-themed adult stop-motion animated feminist comedy series for HBO Max. The eight-episode half-hour series will premiere on December 2 on HBO Max, all the episodes will be released at the same time. Santa Inc. is the story of Candy Smalls (Sarah Silverman), the No. 2 executive vice president, the highest-ranking female elf in the North Pole. When the successor to Santa Claus (Seth Rogen) is poached by Amazon on Christmas Eve, Candy goes for her ultimate dream - to become the first female Santa Claus in the history of Christmas. Gabourey Sidibe is Goldie, an openly bisexual and fervently single reindeer who has been one of Candy’s best friends since childhood. Goldie is on the “B-team” of reindeer, which means she trains as hard as the all-male A-team, but she receives none of the glory. Leslie Grossman plays Cookie, who is described as a “frazzled and loudmouthed gingerbread woman,” who also happens to be a mother and Candy’s friend. Craig Robinson voices Junior, the leader of the reindeer pack (aka the A-Team) that pulls Santa’s sled. He belittles the Reindeer, yells at anyone in his way, uses his fame for no good, gets into fights, humiliates the weak and really has it in for Candy. Joel Kim Booster plays Jingle Jim, Santa’s chief of staff and right-hand man who is considered “the manipulation machine” and the man who gets his hands dirty, so Santa doesn’t have to. Nicholas Braun voices Devin, who is a human frat boy from North Pole University who takes an internship at Santa Inc and specifically begins to work with Candy. He is burly, bearded and jolly - like a young Santa, but in sweats and cargo pants. He wants nothing more than to one day get a job at the company. Maria Bamford voices two characters, Mrs. Claus and Big Candy. Mrs. Claus, Santa’s wife, the First Lady of the North Pole, is cheerful and polite. She is a woman who isn’t weak minded or mired in tradition. Big Candy is Candy’s mother who is also an elf. She is doting, but overbearing and wants her daughter to find a husband. Big Candy lives with and off of her daughter, Candy.

Agatha: House Of Harkness is a spin-off from the Disney+ show WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn will play Agatha Harkness, a witch in this dark comedy. WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer will return to serve as writer and executive producer on the series.

Echo is a spin-off from the Hawkeye series on Disney Plus. “Hawkeye” the series on Disney Plus introduces Alaqua Cox as the character Maya Lopez, a.k.a. Echo, a deaf Native American martial artist who can perfectly replicate a person’s moves, hence the name. In the comics, she’s a formidable force who has mixed it up with the likes of Daredevil, Blade and the Avengers (including Hawkeye). She was also the first to go by the name Ronin, the same alias Barton used as a rogue assassin in Avengers: Endgame. Echo is one of the people pursuing Clint and Kate in Hawkeye. I can not clearly make out the date so I put the X. This sounds like the same incident that triggered Hakim in the Dog Star Swing episode. I wonder if it is a major running theme in the show?

She is a boss at work and the clear boss of the Switzer clan. Noah Switzer (Phil LaMarr) Noah is a people-pleasing man trying desperately to adapt to our fast-changing society. He tries to maintain some masculinity in his marriage, but it’s not really his forte. Camille Switzer (Liza del Mundo) Camille is the adopted daughter of Noah and Harper. While she’s not in the cool club at school, she’s the smartest in the family. Chomsky (Danny Gendron) The Switzer family pet dog (a whippet). Privileged and pampered and enjoyer of the finer things in a dog’s life.
