  1. I'm so over Michael's facial expressions (over acting 101!).
  2. Agree about the food in the kitchen. Think they could do something better.
  3. I rewatched the throwing out of the shrimp from the plane in slow motion a few times and even stopped it at the point of impact. Think that the shrimp were fake.
  4. That dog should not have been allowed in the working kitchen. Don't care who she is. And don't use the "therapy dog" card trick either.
  5. Same here. Not being familiar with the PA area, I rewatched it with the captioning on to try to figure out where they were living. It's hilarious what the captioning comes up with some time.
  6. My bad. The captioning on my tv said Waterford, PA which is the 7 1/2 hour drive.
  7. Thanks. I was wondering about that. They are probably going to use it as an investment property. They live on the far western edge of Pennsylvania. Not an everyday kind of drive. It's like a 7 1/2 drive one way.
  8. Regarding Pennsylvania family. The father was really physically out of shape for being a physician and so was the mother. Wonder if the house was going to be used for summers only. The budget of under $600,000 seem really low given their jobs.
  9. That screeching voice drove me crazy.
  10. That area has very good public school systems.
  11. The one positive for those twins is that the house belongs in a good school system area when they grow up.
  12. Felt sorry for the Annapolis realtor who had to deal with that couple. Surprised that they were able to get a water view house for that price. Cute house, not so much the driveway. House certainly wasn't in Annapolis, more like Severna Park Md. The shared driveways are very common in the area that they purchased in. Use to be more summer homes and then gradually transitioned to year round places. Nice area.
  13. It sold for a little over 2 million while the one they backed out of sold for over 3 million.
  14. Totally agree with you. When we bought our last home, I immediately de-crystaled the chandelier in the powder room that the previous owners had installed.
  15. While the wrap-up of the Highview house was interesting; if I am going to spend over $2,000,000 for a home it better have an attached garage. Canada gets a lot of snow in the winter months and walking from the garage outside to the house doesn't cut it with me.
  16. I actually thought it looked good. Very typical of southern type breakfasts. Make something very similar to this myself.
  17. I wondering where they are coming up with the 20% down payment required on a 450,000 home plus mortgage payment while she still probably has medical school loans and hasn't been making tons between Med School, Internship and now Residency.
  18. Ours, is actually on the front and both sides downstairs and upstairs. House was built in the 1870's.
  19. Actually we do. Have a historic home in downtown Charleston with wraparound porches and use them a lot.
  20. Yeah, maybe she can get a part time job after school.
  21. Because her parents warned her not to get wet and who knows what the water will do to her clothes.
  22. 95, 84 and 15 are all major traffic jams between Fairfield and West Hartford. Use to drive that and it's not great. Also found the house they bought and while it is across from a strip shopping center; it's located on a major 4 lane highway that connects West Hartford to downtown Hartford. Not an easy crossover to the other side
