You could tell by the walk in tub that the home had been occupied by elderly people. And he has to come home to obnoxious kids. Don't like when children jump up and down on sofas and ham it up for the tv camera.

Just find all pictures of the Yonkers house along with the floor plan. The driveway goes right up to the side of the basement which has indoor stairs to the main floor of the house. A lot of manufactured drama for tv. Did like that house anyway.

Just watched my one and done episode of Renovation Island show series. Am immediately deleting any future episodes. The female owner is a real bitch.

Same thing with the Puerto Rican Bollywood bride who came waltz into the showroom with her pageant tiara and sash from some contest she won a few years back. They must really want the notoriety in a big way.

I don't find it unusual at all to have a place where there is a powder off the kitchen. Very common in older historic homes where there wasn't a toilet inside at all originally and over time it came inside wherever they could find room for it. I've had two with the powder room off the kitchen and one with the powder room built right under the stairs going to the second floor.

Actually, the first home for that price was a bargain. Nice size and looked really nice from the outside. She needs to get over finding a house that looked like their place in Joplin Mo. I mean the way that they rode by without even going in. Looked to be in the suburbs.

They are really close to the Florida Ave. market, aka Union Market. That area has become a happening spot now. So different than what it use to be.

While on the subject of brides you come out of the dressing room in their bare feet; ever notice the dress on people in that salon. Looks like they are going out to a fast food burger place. Is it too hard to look somewhat nicely attired to go shopping for a wedding dress , especially in a big city

And I'm so tired of the brides that have to pleased their mothers or their entourage. I picked out what I wanted to wear. Couldn't have cared less if anyone else liked it.

My wedding gown had a watteau train in 1968. Very french inspired.

Personally have never let the commute dictate my choice in hunting for a house. The drive will be what it needs to be to get the right house (actually max it out at a hour commute each way).
