  1. I'm with you regarding Alex and her daughter's segments.
  2. Just read on line that he wanted to open the first marijuana pharmacy in New Orleans area and lost out on his bid.
  3. I'm from Baltimore and always remember the white marble steps leading up to the front door that women use to scrub, especially around the Eastern Ave. and Little Italy areas.
  4. Very typical of a lot of the historic houses in the Old Town section of Alexandria, Virginia. Live in one.
  5. Just looked it up and she actually rode into the battle at Flodden.
  6. I've seen some that even have a Go Fund Me account. Still find this in really poor taste. If they want the money so bad; just have a small wedding instead of an expensive extravaganza.
  7. Unfortunately, that type of registry seems to be the new normal. Funding for the honeymoon, landscaping the backyard, etc. I've seen it on several different bridal registries. In my day, if you couldn't pay for it you shouldn't have it. Not how it seems to work now.
  8. I actually liked Brittany in the show featuring the brit, wife and 2 year old daughter. She deftly grabbed that cream pitcher away from the kid before it was going to be all over the table. Kudos to you Brittany for doing that. Don't like men who wear jeggings and he is trying to emulate Brittany's wearing of the hat on the back of your head fad.
  9. Can't understand people's fixation with having to have a sight line on their kids all the time and turning the dining room into a downstairs play area. Last thing that I would want to see is all those toys right when I walk into a home and let's forget being close to one's parents. No way.
  10. Not sure how well that the snow melting feature will take care of a big canadian snowfall in that stairwell. Still not a fan of Bernadette. Have to wonder if the finished product is just staged for TV like Fixer Upper or it stays. They stored a lot of furnishings from the basement in their dining and living room on the first floor.
  11. The judge threw out the the Freeze the Assets lawsuit by the plaintiffs according to a very recent article in the Chicago Tribune.
  12. I thought that his art work looked liked a paint by numbers project.
  13. Noticed that the house is now in the rental pool, so much for moving in. Also after studying all the pictures; I think that it's a duplex. Too big for just 2,400 feet. $600,000 would never buy direct beach front in the Beaufort area.
  14. I think that's what the plaintiffs are concerned about and hence the lawsuit. Just saw where Augusta is still on the market for $1,449,000.
  15. Well done Alison; Stop Work Order with five code violations on the Augusta Blvd. property and Donovan isn't even working on this project. And this is just in the beginning stages of the project.
  16. I could see that concerning the decorating but thought he would have been involved in the financial matters. As least that's how it has gone everytime we have purchased a home. I stayed at home and he made the money.
  17. I find something off about Bernadette and her husband. It's always just her daughter and her making all the decisions about the renovations. She always specifically says my apartment, my bathroom, my kitchen, etc. like he isn't going to be living there.
  18. Right with you. Can't stand Bernadette. Always looks like she is sucking on a lemon.
  19. There's another phony house hunting show featuring paid actors. Some segments were shot here in Charleston and I could track houses. None of the supposedly sold homes actually sold; they are still on the market. So far the only legit buyers on Brittany show that I could find was the couple from California who bought that house in old Metarie. Made sense because I couldn't understand why the prospective buyers were driving Brittany around, but then they had been in that house for 2 years.
  20. Toledo Street for the 6 kids family and Camp Street for the Texas family.
  21. Totally agree about Streeterville. Loved the history of the area and it's many buildings, especially that private club that is painted green.
  22. Just looked up that house on Camp and it closed September 2020. Don't know who the buyers were. Thought that couple from Beaumont seemed phony to me.
  23. Curious as to whether it's to block the sale or impound the monies from the sale. Just read about that on the Chicago Tribune site. Suing couple is concerned where the funds of the real estate transaction would go.
  24. Ohio husband is a total jerk. Acts like a petulant child.
