Social Media: What's Up With Her?
Irate Panda replied to ClareWalks's topic in My Big Fat Fabulous Life
She forgoes love to be there for Babs and Glen. -
I’m watching Law & Order: Trial by Jury on Amazon. I don’t even really remember this show. Was there one particular reason it got canceled or it just didn’t catch on? I don’t like it as much as the original, but like it more than LA and SVU. *Wasn’t sure if this was the right place to post this question.

Kody Brown: The Man Who Survived a KNIFE to the KIDNEYS!
Irate Panda replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
It kinda looks like it might be in one of ponytail hairstyles (Cue Janelle’s growl in between Plexass shills) However, if he did cut it, I give him kudos Ka-dooz (TM Ramona from RHONY) because I really thought he would rock those 3 strands of hair supplemented with Ramen noodles stapled to his head until the day he died. I also oddly enjoyed getting a special report just on Kody’s hair. I feel like it has become the best metaphor of the show. Every episode, you hope it will be something different, but each time you are highly disappointed and slightly more disgusted looking at it. Thanks @TurtlePower -

Chase wasn’t on the show yet. -
Maybe they’ll adopt or get a surrogate…hopefully Robyn will not try to offer up her uterus again although she’s getting older. I guess for now it’s important to get themselves settled, that’s if they haven’t changed their minds about having kids.

It says, “Get Amy’s Mug!” Does it come with dead flies? 🤭

Yes, I didn’t get that part either, I mean if the guy saw the movie and was this long-time con man, he’d have to see where the line is questioning was. Why would he admit to knowing about it? On a side note, Serena’s exit in “Ain’t no Love” still stinks almost 20 years later: Serena: Does Jack feel as strongly about this as you do? Branch: No, but it's my office and my decision, and he accepts it. Serena: Decision? You've already made a decision? Branch: I have. You're fired. Serena: Is this because I'm a lesbian? Branch: No. Of course not. No. Serena: Good... good. Meanwhile, the conversation should have been: Serena: Decision? You've already made a decision? Branch: I have. You're fired. Serena: Is this because I'm a robot? Branch: Yes. Of course. Yes. Serena: Does not compute... Does not compute. <Rohmbot starts malfunctioning and powers down for the last time>

Since I skipped some seasons of the show, can someone tell me was Tori on the show when she worked as a teacher? If so, did she ever talk about it on the show?
-
That is a perfect description of her character. I wonder if she was completely written that way or some of it was the actress’ acting choices. I guess I mean those words were the writers’ unless she improvised in some way, but she sort of had a hesitation quality in her acting or presentation. I think a lot of it was because I really missed Adam Schiff. Even as a child, I could tell he was such a great character. I was always sneaking out of bed trying to watch the show when I’d hear him telling Jack to “Make a deal!’ or otherwise explain why their case is going south . When Nora came on, I’m like it’s not worth getting even getting up much less getting in trouble. I was a strange child 🤭😂

@LilyD how is the puppy doing? I bet she is keeping you very busy!

Just my opinion, the first two I pretty much agree with even though I don’t understand not bathing unless you are someone without access to do so or if you are suffering from a medical issue. Honestly, I dont know Leon doesn’t bathe, they might just look that way. As far as slovenly or bad fashions, imo the Browns, in general, haven’t met a bad fashion choice they haven’t embraced, so I even give Leon somewhat of a pass on looking a mess or even a bit messy. However, I don’t think a crappy childhood earns them the right to be rude, unless you mean to somebody who was rude to them. In which case, I don’t necessarily think they have to take the high road, but setting boundaries or ceasing contact might be the healthier option. If they’re being rude as a way of life, it is a choice they’re making not a right they are owed and they’d probably benefit from therapy instead of repeating the cycle of dysfunction with everyone in their pathway. As always ymmv :)

I don’t understand why people can’t understand children have a right to privacy too! That picture is completely unnecessary!

I, too, think that is a very sweet post from Meri.

Amy’s hairstyle really irks me. I wish she’d get something different. I know this is a weird question, but do Amy’s bangs start really far back on her head or is it because has a different shaped head because of dwarfism that it either just appears that way or maybe needs to be cut that way because of her head shape? Or is it because the bangs are just too straight and long and need layers? eta: Wanted to make it clear that the shape of her head might affect how her hair hangs and that’s clearly not her fault, but the style itself seems to “drag” her face down.

Yes, that was my problem with her…that she was boring. This episode was probably the one where I paid attention to her the most, which got me thinking how did she even get there? Thanks for explaining she got appointed and worked on OC cases. I did enjoy the way they showed the ADAs discussing why and why not of seeking the death penalty. I think as a kid she just was so blah to me. Of course, as a small child, I was running around with my best exasperated Adam Schiff voice impression telling my parents to “Make a deal!” whenever I got caught doing something and it came time to discuss my punishment 😂 Branch was rather hammy, which I didn’t mind, so Nora always seemed deflated to me. She livened up a little in this episode.
-
I’m watching Teenage Wasteland and get most people don’t want to rush into seeking the death penalty, but sometimes I wonder how Nora got her job or I guess more so why she wanted the job because she seems pained in a lot of aspects of the job. I think she was an Ethics professor, which I could see, but did they go into how she was elected or her background in general? I was a kid when this aired, so I really don’t remember her because I really liked Adam and even Foghorn Leghorn compared to her, so I just kind of ignored her.

That is a flattering swimsuit, Amy looks happy! Meanwhile, MYMAN is in the pool at the farm with Matt playing Marco Polo….I kid, I kid 😂. Maybe MYMAN is taking the pic?

It’s horrible Babs has a stroke and I get Whitney wasn’t ready, but was it just me or did the guy she goes to hug look like he’s trying to back up and leave? It looks like he realizes there’s a camera there, so he just steadies himself and takes one for the team. I’m guessing he’s a crew member, so maybe even if he’s her friend he didn’t want come from behind the scenes, but it was still weird to me. On a side note, I’m shocked Whitney had a jacket on, it must have been 30 below 😂 -
Thank you for helping me to understand and thanks for being patient with my rather awkward way of asking. Much appreciation! Leon has pretty much always gotten on my nerves but I do hope they are happy with Audrey and have a good marriage or relationship unlike their parents.

All Episodes Talk: Small World, Big Lives
Irate Panda replied to NewOrleansLady's topic in Little People Big World
Well to be honest, I have missed seasons of the show, for reality shows it’s not particularly trashy or drama-filled comparatively speaking. Things are drawn out for years! Most of their real dirt happens off screen I imagine but it’s good background noise and I do enjoy the pets and scenery of the farm. -

All Episodes Talk: Small World, Big Lives

A rundown of the show imo: Two LP got married because neither one of them thought they could do better than the other. They had 4 kids, despite probably realizing they were not a good match early on. They both propped up the twin dolts for different reasons. I feel like Matt was living vicariously through Jeremy and pumping him full of dumb ideas like his journey to Wharton 🙄and Amy turned Zach into half-husband bitching about Matt. Molly seemed to succeed despite both her parents and Jacob seemed to be forgotten all together. Jeremy basically married a version of Matt (i.e. micromanager trying to get us all to believe Jeremy’s some sort of intellectual, who will be the best damn farmer mogul the world has ever seen) Zach married a version of Amy (i.e. a pushy bulldozer who still needs to tell Zach to change his socks although she obviously forgot on that last episode) Matt and Amy continue to be miserable until the kids are grown. Amy coddles the twins, while Matt checks out emotionally. Amy hates Matt. Matt hates Amy. ( I think Amy hates Matt because she believes he cheated, while Matt hates Amy because she won’t make a decision about anything, ever….well at least not without several centuries passing). I hate them both (not really), yet like them infinitely more than both the twins. Amy implies Matt had an affair with Caryn, but when directly asked says she can’t say he cheated. (My personal opinion, the marriage was long dead. Matt had an emotional affair, Amy was surprised and angry anybody would actually want to be with Matt.) Amy and Matt get divorced. Caryn is deemed by some to be a golddiger plotting to get the farm (although personally I question how much old cash Matt actually has. I’m actually more curious as to if Caryn is still getting alimony and what her divorce payout was. I think she likes Matt well enough, but I think if she were being influenced by anything, it was the show, more so than the actual farm. Chris comes into the picture after we see Amy playing The Bachelorette for several episodes. I paint Chris with a similar brush as Caryn in that I think the show and its benefits played a big part in Chris becoming MYMAN. I actually think Chris loves Amy, but I think the show and his belief Amy would never cheat caused him to stick around long enough to figure out. Grandchildren are born. King Jackson was crowned and OWNS everything: schools, doctors’ offices, Disneyland, rollercoasters, and your local Benihana, but much to the chagrin of his parents, he does not own the farm. Lilah doesn’t OWN anything, but in her defense, the poor child is is busy trying not to be sat on or driven into a tree. Each of the twins attempt to buy the farm. Apparently the twins are the only people that thought they would actually OWN the farm. Amy is mad she didn’t get more money for the farm the boys didn’t get the farm. Matt is mad his kids are idiots and that there was a greater chance of Irate Panda purchasing the Pepperidge Farms empire than Dumb and Dumber making this plan work his kids didn’t step up and try to really learn the business. All pets on the show starting from Rocky through Murphy deserve better humans than all these morons. *These musings are based on almost 0% facts and almost 100% speculation, but as a “reality” show viewer, I feel that’s totally appropriate 😂 -
Leon has never been attractive imo since I’ve seen them. I feel like they got their parents worse physical traits. Kody’s beady eyes and Meri’s sort of big frame and splotchy complexion. Leon’s tummy got very big, I would guess a lot is French or avocado toast, but if they are transitioning and take hormones testosterone, does that move fat to your tummy or would weight gain just go where it always did? I guess I mean a lot of men seem to hold weight in their stomach where woman do in their stomach, hips, or chest usually, so if you transition does your weight gain go where it always did or does taking female or male hormones dictate where it goes? Also, is Leon transitioning like Audrey or just not male or female, so their just in whatever state they choose neither feminine or masculine? *I hope these questions make sense and are not offensive, I spent a lot of time trying to find the right words, but got confused 😔

Yes, I hated Dekker, but I generally don’t like that actor. I didn’t mind the prosecutor/ police man but was confused why they showed the one partner getting killed then the last three episodes he’s alive. Was he supposed to only be on a few episodes or they just shook up the cast and he was one of the people that got cut? I don’t understand why they were shown out of order. I like Connie, but wished they had just made her the lead ADA, but I’m not sure if she was old enough. Im not sure how long she would have been working long enough for that role. I can’t believe they canceled the original for that slop! I wouldn’t have hated it so much if I didn’t feel like it pushed the original off the air and if it weren’t called Law & Order.
