  1. Watching on delay, and paused before the results to get my thoughts down... Mary Lou-Wow, I never knew that about her knee, what an impressive comeback! Her dance was pretty, but a little rough in spots. Milo-That was fun, entertaining, and looked effortless. Plus, he just seems like a good, down-to-earth kid. Great job! Nancy-Seemed like a little too much of her just standing there, but otherwise a nice dance. Poor Val, Erin put him on the spot and he looked kind of uncomfortable. Alexis-That was an emotional and beautiful dance. Evanna-Hmm, I don't know why, but the music actually took me out of the dance. She danced well, it just didn't touch me like some of the other dances have. Joe-Ugh. While I will admit(grudgingly) that this dance was better, it is still time for him to go. Juan Pablo-Nice samba rolls. That was a great dance, but while I can see him making it to the finals, I can also see him getting lost in the pack. His reaction to the scores was priceless, though I still don't think 10s should be given out this early. John-He's not the best, but he's not the worst. That was a decent dance, and I hope he sticks around for at least a couple more weeks. Bobby-Where do they hide out all night when everybody else is in the sky box? Well, at least he calmed down. I wasn't impressed with the content, but it wasn't horrible. Tinashe-Ok, first of all, Brandon needs a better anti-perspirant. Secondly, to me this dance was just meh, and it seemed really short. After hearing the judges comments, I re-watched it to see what I missed. I still don't get what was so fantastically great about it. I liked her other dances better. DeMarcus-Was he the only one that they didn't show watching their pre-dance package? And wow, that was powerful, but again seemed short. Maybe it's just me? And now, off to watch the results. Holy crap! I can't believe they put Tinashe in jeopardy! Maybe she's not getting the votes and they are hoping to spur people into voting for her. Between the two, Nancy was definitely the right one to go, although I wish it had been Joe.
  2. IIRC, the same thing happened with Bonner Bolton.
  3. Did they make Greg Germann a regular(not recurring) cast member this season? If not, they should! I love his character! So glad that Roy was fired, hopefully it sticks this time. Didn't Jackson also almost die from running into a school bus that was on fire to save a kid? Still not feeling new Ortho guy. I agree with others that Bailey should have spent some time showing Alex the ropes. Richard was kind of an ass this episode, but I'm glad he finally realized what was wrong with the teacher. Maggie can leave any time. She annoys the crap out of me. I have a feeling that the matchmaker storyline is going to drag out for way too long. Ugh. Just no to Deluca and Meredith. Not feeling it.
  4. I was hoping that John would get a Waltz soon. I think this could be a really good dance for him.
  5. The so-called "Bachelor Nation" needs to let Joe be rightfully eliminated. The poor guy just looks like he's miserable.
  6. There was a lot of good dancing tonight! Does Donny ever age? Poor Sharna. What happened to the double elimination? I am glad that John didn't get sent home tonight. Bobby and Joe should be gone before he is if you're going by overall dance ability. I will admit that John's dance tonight wasn't that great. The Blue Man Group kind of creeps me out.
  7. I agree with this 100%! They are not leaving much room to score for improvement. People complain when dancers get 5's and 6's, but if you start the season at 7's and 8's it doesn't leave much room. I say don't let a score be higher than 7 the first couple of weeks(make it seem like a 7 would be like a 10 in later weeks).
  8. My thoughts on tonight: DeMarcus-Fun, if kind of rough. Danelle-I'm sorry, but while I applaud the effort, that was almost painful to watch. John-I loved it, and I love how he's so supportive of his fellow castmates! I hope he sticks around awhile. Nancy-Her dress was much better tonight. The dance could have been a little smoother but, given that she has a fracture in her foot, maybe not. Alexis-I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Technically, it looked good but it didn't move me emotionally. I thought the 9 was too much. Joe-Well, it was better than last week, but that's not saying much. I hate that they butchered New York State of Mind. He can go now, but what is up with Bruno? His last comment was unnecessary. Tinashe-Too many tricks, not enough dancing, plus it was so dark it was hard to see what they were doing. Milo-This dance made me smile. They looked like they were having so much fun! Mary Lou-Am I the only one that was cringing because of the woman singing? The dance was good. Juan Pablo-That was ok, but not great. Overscored, IMO. Evanna-Where were they the entire first part of the show? She danced well, but I still feel that Keo always tries to out-dance his partner. Bobby-Can he be any more obnoxious? Poor Sharna! My bottom three for tonight: Bobby, Danelle, and Joe.
  9. I am so happy that Greg Germann is back! Not so excited about Chris Carmack. I haven't seen his other shows, but on this one, so far, I'm not feeling his character. Not getting the new Asian doc and Glasses, either.
  10. Actually, he didn't leave until after season 22 :).
  11. I've got to give John a little love here--he was my first celebrity crush(yes, I'm old :) ). He is my underdog pick to go farther than you would expect, and he just seems to be a genuinely good guy. His first dance was a little rough, admittedly, but I think he will show improvement in the coming weeks.

  13. Unfortunately, I was not surprised that Joe was called safe, what with all of the Bachelor franchise fans behind him. I guess it doesn't matter to them that his dance was horrible. He should have at least been one of the ones in jeopardy. <shrug> Way too much of the Juniors on this episode. I was thinking about maybe giving it a chance, but not after what I just watched. Yay, John! I hope he sticks around for at least a few more weeks, unless he doesn't improve at all. I think he can do better, though. I was surprised that Alexis was in jeopardy. I thought she had one of the better dances the first night. Both Mary Lou and Nancy danced better tonight, but as other people have mentioned-what is up with Nancy's costumes? Since Joe didn't get the boot, I'm ok with Nikki being sent home. I don't think I like first-week eliminations. For all of those who are upset with Bruno's judging of Danelle--Bruno is Bruno. I don't think he CAN stop critiquing that way, and maybe Danelle can't see it, but Artem can.
  14. That high kick move he did was pretty impressive, too! :)
  15. IMO, the Jive or Quickstep should not be a first week dance. That being said, my thoughts on this episode: Mary Lou-Not bad for a first dance. Milo-Yet another good first dance. Evanna-Looked ok, but so far I haven't really FELT anything from the first three dances. I don't think she deserved the 5, though. Danelle-They should say that she's legally blind, not blind(there is a difference), but then again she referred to herself as blind so what do I know? Her dance was impressive considering the circumstances. Bobby-What the heck is he on? Poor Sharna. I hope he calms down some in the coming weeks if he makes it through. I don't think this dance deserved 7s. Juan Pablo-So, he got a first dance that seems to be right in his wheelhouse. Looked ok, if a little sloppy in places. Nikki-Meh. Kind of clunky. Alexis-That was a fun routine. John-Man, I really like him and want to see him go far, but his dancing was a little stiff. I'm hoping he makes it through this week and can shake off the nerves and show improvement next week. I hate that they gave him such a cheesy intro. Emma's accent was horrible. Tinashe-That was pretty good, but she seemed to lose her balance a couple of times. Nancy-Ok, that wasn't bad for a first week Quickstep for someone who has no dance experience. They were too far apart in hold though, and her facial expressions took me out of it a little bit. Joe-Oh, my. That was rough. DeMarcus-At least the night ended on a high note. That was fun to watch and I thought he did a good job. My top three for tonight would be DeMarcus, Milo, and Tinashe. My bottom three would be Joe, Nikki, and Bobby.
  16. So, just out of curiosity I YouTube'd John Schneider singing. He's really good! He is my "underdog" pick for the season, and I hope Emma can take him far.
  17. Am I the only one who thinks that they shouldn't have shown the scores for the first round? I mean, at least that way each judge doesn't know what the other judges did, and can't adjust their scores accordingly for the second round for who they personally want to win. I agree with others that if there is another season they should open it up to audience votes. All that being said, I have enjoyed The Lab throughout the season, but if they are just going on tonight's performances(which they were), I don't think they deserved the win. I think either Michael or Charity and Andres should have won, but maybe that's just me.
  18. He was Bo Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard and he was in Smallville. I've also heard that he's a country singer. The names I'm familiar with this season are John, Mary Lou, Nancy, Bobby Bones, and Juan Pablo. I had no clue about the Mary Lou/Nassar thing. Usually I find that, out of the contestants that I have never heard of in the beginning, there is at least one(if not more) that I end up liking more than I would think.
  19. Maybe they could get him for a future season.
  20. So, Derek totally gave away that S-Rank won before their division was shown... I still don't think that injuries/sad stories should be talked about right before the judging. I never cared too much for The Fabulous Sisters, they always seemed so frantic. Also, what was the deal with the girl in white? I didn't get her part of the story. Michael was just amazing. I'm happy he outlasted Karen y Ricardo. I'm sad that Sean and Kaycee are gone, I enjoyed their routines. The Lab has some pretty impressive moves. They earned their spot.
  21. The Desi Hoppers got screwed by being first. I found their routines to be fresh, entertaining, and different. I think if they had performed later, they probably would have gotten a higher score. I really want to like this show, but between Jennifer over-scoring her faves, and Ne-Yo low-balling the juniors, the judging just frustrates me. Surprisingly, I thought Paula was the best mentor, at least from what they showed of the mentoring sessions.
