  1. They had the texts because his ex-girlfriend posted them. Apparently he broke up with her around the time the show started to air, so she posted them so that people would know what a creep he was. And there were way more messages than what they showed on the reunion. He talks about how he's probably going to get a great edit, come off as such a great guy, etc. Also, the show left out that according to the ex-girlfriend, Trevor threatened to show her minor son a sex tape of her if she ratted him out. He's trash and I don't feel sorry for him in the slightest.
  2. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I'm not really bothered by Sarah Ann and Jeramy. Should Jeramy have broken things up with Laura earlier? Yes. Was it appropriate for him to talk with Sarah Ann until 5am? No. But acting as if this is a normal dating/engagement situation is just ridiculous. Sarah Ann and Laura dated Jeramy for the same amount of time and at the same time. Her sending him a message saying, "Hey, if things don't work out, give me a call" makes sense to me. We're talking about a show where out of the five couples that usually make it out of the pods, only 1 or 2 relationships actually result in marriage. It's not as if Sarah Ann and Jeramy dated for two years, broke up and then a year later he started dating Laura, proposed to her after two years and then Sarah Ann tried to get him back. Also, Laura is a mean girl! I don't think she really loved Jeramy either. She just wanted to beat Sarah Ann and when she did, she had the biggest poo-eating grin on her face as she "consoled" Sarah Ann after Jeramy broke up with her in the pods. This is a woman who complained about Sarah Ann's message to Jeramy, then in the next breath encourages Jessica to go after Jimmy while he's still engaged to Chelsea. And then there's the whole beandip situation! (which she brought up again, despite AD obviously not being happy about it, just because she was trying to save her image, the selfish cow) So yeah, what Jeramy and Sarah Ann did wasn't cool but Laura isn't some innocent angel. She's just mad that she "lost" and the fact that she's with someone else now but still so upset is very telling. Agree about the couples from past seasons. Why were they there? I get having Brennan and Alexa pop in since they're having the first Love is Blind baby (well, them and Zach/Bliss) but everyone else? Why? And poor AD is a fool. She still is going on about how she was so good for Clay and all the stuff she could have done for him. Stop trying to be the fixer! Look for the guy who's going to be good for you! Who's trying to take care of you! If you want to rescue and fix something, get a rescue pet! At least she wasn't interested in dating Clay again. That's something, at least. I'm still confused about Johnny. Did he not use condoms in his past relationships? And how do you get to 27 and not know anything about birth control? It's just not making sense to me. So Brittany and Kenneth get about five minutes of screentime and they don't even bring up how Kenneth seemed to be having second thoughts after having the race conversation with AD? What the hell? They spent half the show on Laura/Jeramy/Sarah Ann, shared a pointless tiktok of Amy and Johnny but didn't have time to fully address things with Brittany and Kenneth? Please. Of course Jessica and Micah have bonded and will be on Perfect Match. Ugh. I feel so bad for Autumn.
  3. I hope the reunion was filmed after the finale was released. I hate when they film it before since then people aren't aware of what other people were saying to the camera. Case in point, Clay saying that he wasn't deeply in love to the camera crew after going on to AD about how he did love her but just wasn't ready. Those are two different things, sir.
  4. Katie Britt craziness aside (and boy, was there lots), is anyone else concerned that apparently no one in Sara's house knows how to cook dinner? And that they don't eat at the table, I guess?
  5. I disagree. I would find it endlessly embarrassing if I had slept with Jimmy.
  6. I always like the wedding dress shopping (even though most of these weddings shouldn't end in marriage) because I find it interesting to see all the women's different dress tastes. For instance, AD having a thing for very form fitting dresses with no embellishment whatsoever. I liked the second dress she tried on much better than the first. Something about the fabric of the first one made it look unfinished. Like it was the base that lace or rhinestones or something was going to be laid on. Amy and Chelsea basically chose the same dress though poor Chelsea yet again went with something that does not suit her body type.
  7. So as we're watching the Chelsea/Jimmy fight start to unfold, I turn to my husband and say, "Chelsea sounds like those chicks in college who would get drunk and then whine about everything". Then, seconds later, they reveal that Chelsea's been drinking. LOL. So good to know she's a drama drunk. And hey, alcohol affects everyone differently but by the time you're thirty, you should be aware that drinking turns you into a neurotic, dramatic mess and refrain from drinking.
  8. If all that is true about Trevor, Netflix really needs to change how they cast this show. Also, if the part about him threatening to show videos of her to her son is true, then he needs to go to jail. That's got to break some kind of law.
  9. Thought it was that people gave away things when they were suicidal, not that they returned things. I took the last scene to be that they had both reached a place of peace in their lives, so could just sit back and enjoy the scenery in comfortable silence.
  10. Yeah, this just seems very sour grapes to me from the ex and her mom. I get that it would hurt that someone you'd been engaged to after a five year relationship could move on so quickly, but come on. And unless there was some kind of abuse going on, why would any of the women Jeramy dated on the show need to contact her? Seems like they're just trying to get their own fifteen minutes of fame from this, which is pretty sad.
  11. The Zendaya segment reminded me of a Danny DaVito interview I saw where he said that during school dances, he always went up to the tallest girl in the room and asked her to dance. He figured that since shorter guys and taller girls can have trouble dating (or be self conscious), they might as well embrace it and dance with each other, and apparently this usually worked.
  12. So according to my five seconds of internet research, lip injections cost between $500-$1,000 and last from six to twelve months. So while not the wisest way to spend your money, $500 every six months is probably doable for most people. Or one could go the way of credit card debt. That's always an option.
  13. I didn't read the situation like that at all. I think Brittany was saying that he didn't seem that interested in her physically and as a result, she was losing interest in him physically. Back on the honeymoon, she says that she told him that she was cool with him grabbing her (I believe this was her at least, I could be remembering wrong) and that she was big on physical touch and wanted him to be more affectionate. Sure, they had agreed no sex before marriage but there's a difference between no sex and no sexual touching at all. She pointed out that they hadn't even made out yet and I got the impression that that was due to a lack of action on his part. So yeah, I think she was saying that in the pods, she had a craving for Kenneth but after weeks of no real physical contact, that craving was waning.
  14. Maybe since they're now having legal trouble, the producers/showrunners have decided it's not a good idea to force people to be together if they don't want to. Or their conflict wasn't as interesting as, "I need a break from having sex with you", so they weren't as bothered by them leaving early?
  15. The dog biting people and having to be removed is old. The actual report that states how many biting incidents occurred is new.
  16. Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the panel was just laughing off that Biden's dog had bitten people at least 24 times? It has bunk all to do with politics so I don't think it should be used in anything related to that but if a dog is biting people, it needs to be put down (and if it were anyone else, it surely would have been). And we're not talking about a small dog that nips at people either, we're talking about a freakin' German Shepherd. I don't think it's cute at all that this dog was attacking people and nothing was done about it for a long time. If the headline, "Rich and powerful person lets dog attack employees" ran, people would be outraged but because it's the President, it's cool? I'm just...confused.
  17. Interesting that Kenneth said they were less than a week away from the wedding when they broke up. Does that mean that there was unaired footage of them meeting each other's friends and family? Maybe there wasn't enough drama there so that's why they didn't show it and condensed their story down?
  18. Yes because unfortunately, a lot of districts don't have a requirement for having actually been a teacher to be a principal/vice principal. As long as you have the master's degree, you're good.
  19. Another thing, Jessica needs to be a better parent. The way she's using her kid as a sounding board for all her relationship stuff, as if she's her friend and not her child, is so damaging. That child should not have to worry/hear about any relationship drama at her age, especially her own mother's.
  20. I think because this show attracts a lot of women who just want to be social media influencers, so are way into all that stuff. If they find love, then fine, but they're main goal by being on here is just to attract followers.
  21. Forgot to add in my earlier post, what the hell was Kenneth out doing to 1:30am? The stuff he mentioned (getting his hair done, some work stuff, I believe) is not stuff you're out doing until 1:30am, so where was he? Also, I found it interesting that after they broke up, he called a friend and said he'd be over in a minute. Why not just go back to his own place? And what kind of "friend" is this? There's a story there, I'm just not sure what it is.
  22. OMG, yes! My husband and I laughed every time she said that.
  23. Hmm, so I'm trying to figure out what happened with Kenneth because as time went on, he just seemed to drift further and further away from Brittany without anything really happening that would cause that. She seemed all in and was trying to communicate any issues she had with him, and he didn't seem interested in the least. Could be the editing, but after AD questioned him on whether or not he really wanted to raise kids with a white woman, he seemed to pull away. And if you don't want to date outside your race, then fine but you really shouldn't go on a show called Love Is Blind, though maybe because he'd never dated outside his race before, he didn't realize he'd have such a problem with it. I felt bad for Brittany because she seemed to really be trying and appeared rather heartbroken when they broke it off, as opposed to Kenneth who just got on his phone...again. Heck, maybe I'm wrong about the race thing and really, guy just wanted a free trip because it seemed as if the second they got back from vacation, he totally checked out. Moving on, holy childhood trauma, Clay! His dad took him with him on his cheating excursions!? What an a-hole! Clay keeps on referring to his dad as a lady's man and says he was a good father but no sweetie, your dad was a selfish sleaze who involved his kid in his extramarital activities. My opinion on Clay has changed a bit. Before, I thought he was just a player but now, I think he actually is trying and wants to be in a long term relationship, he just doesn't know how and with all the stuff he still has to work through, I'm not really sure if he's ready yet. Maybe in five years. Laura had gone full mean girl at this point, with her conversation with Jessica. I'm sure the producers arranged the entire thing but still. She likes to stir the pot and watch the drama unfold. Very immature. The Amy/Johnny birth control conflict is interesting. They need to consult a doctor on what their options are. Off the top of my head, they could use a diaphragm or copper IUD, both are effective and non-hormonal and paired with a condom, that pretty much puts their risk of accidental pregnancy down to practically zero. I'm assuming in the past Amy just had the guy wear a condom but Johnny feels they need more than just that. Or possibly doesn't want to wear a condom? They weren't really clear on that part. It was crazy to me that they kept on bringing up a vasectomy because that is a permanent solution, not something you do when you're waiting a few years to have kids. Technically they are reversable but it's not guaranteed and the reversal has to be done within three years. Which brings us to Jimmy/Chelsea who I figure have to break up after that fight. The fact that he said he needed a "breather" from having sex with her? Had to pick my jaw up after that one. Yes, she is annoyingly insecure and clingy, but wow, I don't see how they stay together after that comment. My husband and I had to be responsible adults and go to bed last night after this episode, so I'll have to wait until tonight to see what happens in episode 9.
  24. Correct me if I'm wrong but this might be the most harmonious all the couples have ever been at the end of the "honeymoon". Usually, there's one or two that are already fighting but this season, everyone who acted out of pocket apologized and while I still think several couples have issues and hopefully pull the plug before the wedding, everyone does seem to be getting along at the moment. It was a weirdly drama free episode for the post-pods phase of the show.
  25. No one thought it was an avalanche. The mine (or company that runs the mine), wants the investigation shut down because they were involved with some shenanigans with the scientists and they know the longer the investigation goes on, the more likely it is that that comes to light. They've got some pull so I'm guessing they paid somebody off (or applied some pressure) to get the avalanche report as the official cause of death.
