  1. I didn't read the situation like that at all. I think Brittany was saying that he didn't seem that interested in her physically and as a result, she was losing interest in him physically. Back on the honeymoon, she says that she told him that she was cool with him grabbing her (I believe this was her at least, I could be remembering wrong) and that she was big on physical touch and wanted him to be more affectionate. Sure, they had agreed no sex before marriage but there's a difference between no sex and no sexual touching at all. She pointed out that they hadn't even made out yet and I got the impression that that was due to a lack of action on his part. So yeah, I think she was saying that in the pods, she had a craving for Kenneth but after weeks of no real physical contact, that craving was waning.
  2. Maybe since they're now having legal trouble, the producers/showrunners have decided it's not a good idea to force people to be together if they don't want to. Or their conflict wasn't as interesting as, "I need a break from having sex with you", so they weren't as bothered by them leaving early?
  3. The dog biting people and having to be removed is old. The actual report that states how many biting incidents occurred is new.
  4. Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the panel was just laughing off that Biden's dog had bitten people at least 24 times? It has bunk all to do with politics so I don't think it should be used in anything related to that but if a dog is biting people, it needs to be put down (and if it were anyone else, it surely would have been). And we're not talking about a small dog that nips at people either, we're talking about a freakin' German Shepherd. I don't think it's cute at all that this dog was attacking people and nothing was done about it for a long time. If the headline, "Rich and powerful person lets dog attack employees" ran, people would be outraged but because it's the President, it's cool? I'm just...confused.
  5. Interesting that Kenneth said they were less than a week away from the wedding when they broke up. Does that mean that there was unaired footage of them meeting each other's friends and family? Maybe there wasn't enough drama there so that's why they didn't show it and condensed their story down?
  6. Yes because unfortunately, a lot of districts don't have a requirement for having actually been a teacher to be a principal/vice principal. As long as you have the master's degree, you're good.
  7. Another thing, Jessica needs to be a better parent. The way she's using her kid as a sounding board for all her relationship stuff, as if she's her friend and not her child, is so damaging. That child should not have to worry/hear about any relationship drama at her age, especially her own mother's.
  8. I think because this show attracts a lot of women who just want to be social media influencers, so are way into all that stuff. If they find love, then fine, but they're main goal by being on here is just to attract followers.
  9. Forgot to add in my earlier post, what the hell was Kenneth out doing to 1:30am? The stuff he mentioned (getting his hair done, some work stuff, I believe) is not stuff you're out doing until 1:30am, so where was he? Also, I found it interesting that after they broke up, he called a friend and said he'd be over in a minute. Why not just go back to his own place? And what kind of "friend" is this? There's a story there, I'm just not sure what it is.
  10. OMG, yes! My husband and I laughed every time she said that.
  11. Hmm, so I'm trying to figure out what happened with Kenneth because as time went on, he just seemed to drift further and further away from Brittany without anything really happening that would cause that. She seemed all in and was trying to communicate any issues she had with him, and he didn't seem interested in the least. Could be the editing, but after AD questioned him on whether or not he really wanted to raise kids with a white woman, he seemed to pull away. And if you don't want to date outside your race, then fine but you really shouldn't go on a show called Love Is Blind, though maybe because he'd never dated outside his race before, he didn't realize he'd have such a problem with it. I felt bad for Brittany because she seemed to really be trying and appeared rather heartbroken when they broke it off, as opposed to Kenneth who just got on his phone...again. Heck, maybe I'm wrong about the race thing and really, guy just wanted a free trip because it seemed as if the second they got back from vacation, he totally checked out. Moving on, holy childhood trauma, Clay! His dad took him with him on his cheating excursions!? What an a-hole! Clay keeps on referring to his dad as a lady's man and says he was a good father but no sweetie, your dad was a selfish sleaze who involved his kid in his extramarital activities. My opinion on Clay has changed a bit. Before, I thought he was just a player but now, I think he actually is trying and wants to be in a long term relationship, he just doesn't know how and with all the stuff he still has to work through, I'm not really sure if he's ready yet. Maybe in five years. Laura had gone full mean girl at this point, with her conversation with Jessica. I'm sure the producers arranged the entire thing but still. She likes to stir the pot and watch the drama unfold. Very immature. The Amy/Johnny birth control conflict is interesting. They need to consult a doctor on what their options are. Off the top of my head, they could use a diaphragm or copper IUD, both are effective and non-hormonal and paired with a condom, that pretty much puts their risk of accidental pregnancy down to practically zero. I'm assuming in the past Amy just had the guy wear a condom but Johnny feels they need more than just that. Or possibly doesn't want to wear a condom? They weren't really clear on that part. It was crazy to me that they kept on bringing up a vasectomy because that is a permanent solution, not something you do when you're waiting a few years to have kids. Technically they are reversable but it's not guaranteed and the reversal has to be done within three years. Which brings us to Jimmy/Chelsea who I figure have to break up after that fight. The fact that he said he needed a "breather" from having sex with her? Had to pick my jaw up after that one. Yes, she is annoyingly insecure and clingy, but wow, I don't see how they stay together after that comment. My husband and I had to be responsible adults and go to bed last night after this episode, so I'll have to wait until tonight to see what happens in episode 9.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong but this might be the most harmonious all the couples have ever been at the end of the "honeymoon". Usually, there's one or two that are already fighting but this season, everyone who acted out of pocket apologized and while I still think several couples have issues and hopefully pull the plug before the wedding, everyone does seem to be getting along at the moment. It was a weirdly drama free episode for the post-pods phase of the show.
  13. No one thought it was an avalanche. The mine (or company that runs the mine), wants the investigation shut down because they were involved with some shenanigans with the scientists and they know the longer the investigation goes on, the more likely it is that that comes to light. They've got some pull so I'm guessing they paid somebody off (or applied some pressure) to get the avalanche report as the official cause of death.
  14. I think Sunny just got defensive since 1) she's the only one there who's been through IVF (which is a very difficult process. Besides the monetary cost, there's also the physical toll it takes, as well as the emotional) and 2) the rest were all being very dismissive of the idea that embryos could be considered children. I highly doubt any of them would say to a woman that's suffered an early miscarriage, "Well, it wasn't a baby anyway", so I feel they could have been a bit more sensitive on this topic. Do I think somebody should be charged with accidental death to a minor (or whatever the charge was)? No, though there should be some kind of consequence. I am disappointed though that the panel couldn't acknowledge that this is a complicated issue and discuss how this situation would be similar/different to the cases where someone who kills a pregnant woman is charged with double homicide and what the implications of the ruling would be going forward.
  15. Is the show supposed to be set in current day? If so, then if the character is 40, she would have been twelve in 1995.
  16. I was worried when they went down into the ice caves and were just wandering around without marking anything so they could find their way back. Like, bring a ball of yarn with you, at least? Breadcrumbs? No one knew they were down there so had they not found that secret lab with its ladder, they probably would have gotten lost and died. And I wish we could do polls because I'd be interested to know how many people think Navarro was alive at the end and how many think she was dead and how people's views of things overall affected that. For me, they make a point of saying that it's the first day of sunlight (or whatever), so everyone seems happier and moving forward so I assume that Navarro's going on some kind of vision quest where she's going to reconnect with nature/her ancestors/all those ghosts that she sees and just drops into town to say "hi" every once in awhile.
  17. But let's be real. Jimmy was excited as hell when Chelsea said people told her she looked like Megan Fox so obviously, he's into that look. Back in my single days, I used to ask dates what their top two celebrity crushes were (I believe the Millionaire Matchmaker also used this strategy), since it would give me an idea of what they were looking for both physically and personality wise.
  18. The Billie Eilish song is supposed to be about a "monster under the bed" from the monster's perspective. So you could interpret that to be a literal monster or something monsterous that a person is dealing with (addiction, abusive relationship etc). I've always found that song to have a very dark, malevolent spirit vibe to it, so to me, it fits the show. From what the creator of the season has said, I think her intention was that Navarro had been scared to go out on the ice before because of all her ghosts (literal and figurative) and was afraid of what would happen to her/what she would do if she went out there, but now that she's made peace with that part of herself (her ability to see dead people? Her acknowledging that she sometimes has suicidal thoughts but that doesn't mean she has to follow through with them?), she can go out on the ice unafraid. She doesn't want to say for definite that's what the ending is though, since some people are interpreting it as Navarro died and is coming back as a ghost to visit Danvers and she feels that art is open to interpretation. That's how I'm understanding it, anyway. As for Annie's murder, that happened in the underground lab. We see Clark hearing Annie being murdered and he climbs down the ladder into the lab, where he finds the one scientist stabbing her (after she trashed everything down there). He pulls the attacker off, but by this time the other scientists have made their way down there and they continue with the attack. The stuff with how the scientists died and the lab lights/temperature, I'm chalking up to Annie K's ghost was doing a bit of haunting. In the finale, when Navarro is trying to fix something at the lab (the heat? the lights?), we see a woman flash behind her in the background. Navarro doesn't see this, it's just the audience so I took that to mean that Annie K was still hanging around, making sure that the truth about everything was known.
  19. I liked it. I'm cool with the explanation of the scientists killed Annie, so the local women killed them, but there was some supernatural stuff going on in the background as well (Annie K's tongue, Navarro seeing ghosts). The only part I didn't buy is that the woman with missing fingers would tolerate an abusive boyfriend. If you're the type of person who participates in a vigilante murder raid, I don't see you taking it from an abusive boyfriend. Also, I would have preferred if they gave a better explanation for how the women found out. Just finding the murder weapon wouldn't have told them that all the scientists participated in the murder. Would have made more sense if one of the scientists kept a journal that the women found and read while searching for more evidence. Or, instead of Hank being the one to move the body, the abusive boyfriend had been hired to do it instead and at some point drunkenly confesses to the missing fingers lady. Secret security footage would have worked also. Just something to provide the women with more solid evidence.
  20. I do get where the comparison comes from because when Chelsea was saying that people tell her she looks like a celeb, I said, "Megan Fox" before she did. I think it was something about her eyes and the angle she was at. That being said, it's not as if she's a look alike and her overall look plus her body type are so far from Fox's that I would never put that out there if someone hadn't seen me yet.
  21. Let's be real though, Jimmy went over and talked to AD after first saying. "Hey, check out her ass!" He's a creep. Also, he's so full of crap. His going on about how his relationship is going to smoothest when there are so, so many issues. You could tell AD was just tolerating his drunk butt and that fool just kept going. Chelsea's ridiculous in that she chose "woe is me" Jimmy over Trevor, whom she actually seemed to have fun with. It's like Trevor was too into her, so she went with Jimmy, who she constantly has to seek validation from. Let me save you some time, Chelsea, he's just not that into you.
  22. First off, Brittany was wearing either way too much makeup or way too harsh of makeup in the pods because it is a night and day difference now that they're on the beach. She actually looks her age and so much better! Chelsea needs to end it now because Jimmy's uncanny ability to say all the wrong things is giving her issues. She so obviously is feeling insecure while he's out there making inappropriate comments about other women's bodies. And while we're on the subject, poor AD! First Clay is saying that he'll order her to the gym if he feels she's gotten out of shape, then Jimmy feels the need to talk about her butt, then there was the entire "bean dip" incident. She handled all of that with a crazy amount of grace and restraint, when honestly, so many apologies were owed to her.
  23. So I'm only to the part where they first get to the honeymoon but Jimmy can suck it. Going on and on about how hard this entire thing has been for him, being a Debbie downer during his "first look" with Chelsea, then going on about Jessica to Chelsea and how upset he was that Jessica got mad at him. You're a grown ass man! Boo hoo that somebody got mad with you. Then to bring up that Jessica said she was hot and he was going to regret dumping her? My husband's on the couch next to me and the entire time he's just going, "Dear God, man, what are you doing?" And yes, while I think it was dumb of Chelsea to say that people tell her that she looks like Megan Fox (cuz girl, no) and put that expectation in Jimmy's head, he's being such an ass that I just don't care. She should have picked Trevor, at least he seemed fun. *Edit: Forgot to add, Jimmy blaming Chelsea for Jessica getting mad at him by saying that she wasn't supposed to tell anyone that he said he loved her? What kind of bull poo is that? I hope she leaves him...preferably by the end of this episode.
  24. Matthew just got weirder and weirder as it went along. The whole "America is rooting for me", followed by him leaving and saying he's going to go look for Amber. WTF? I find it so odd that we didn't see any of their interactions in the pods. I've seen some speculation that the two of them were plants and there's part of me that kinda believes that because why not show some of their dates? Sidenote: How has Netflix not figured out by now that every time a new season is released, they should sell those golden goblets and some Love is Blind themed wines? It would be so easy! $15-$20 for two glasses or tumblers, plus $15-$20 for the wine. Make a deal with Target, put it on a kiosk, and boom, easy money.
  25. In my opinion, you shouldn't even be on this show if you have kids. It's completely irresponsible. If you as an adult want to roll the dice and marry someone after knowing them six weeks, then fine but dragging a kid into that? No way. Having a step parent is a major life adjustment and the fact that the kid will have zero time to adjust to the idea or really get to know that person before having to live with them? How traumatizing is that? And wouldn't you want to make sure the person isn't a creeper or at the very least actually gets along with your kid? I'm a parent and there is no way on earth that I'd even do something so reckless and insensitive to my kids.
