I met my husband (26 yrs. & counting) in a neighborhood bar. I don't think Shep is looking for Ms. Right. He's looking for conquests. He's a smart, likeable guy imo. It would be a shame if he drank himself into big health problems or an early grave, but he wouldn't be the first eligible bachelor to never marry.

IF Luann receives any sort of punitive sentence, it will be a Lindsay Lohan sort of thing, where she is sentenced to ___ days, reports to jail, then gets released in 45 minutes due to some sort of laughable technicality. I don't imagine that it will even come to that. She's wealthy, has notoriety that isn't all negative, and is dealing with a first offense. All things (along with a couple of other factors) which will serve her well in front of some judge that she has probably eaten canapes along side at some she-she event or another. Who know, maybe the Count would even intervene on behalf of his children, in the interest of sparing them the title of Spawn of Jail Bait.

I tried hard to talk her out of getting a cell, because I knew that it would be a perpetual training session, but I lost the battle. She wanted to be like all the other girls you know, lol. Caring for an aging parent really is so much like raising a child - just with more tears and frustration.

Trying to teach my mother how to mute the ringer on her flip phone, (don't judge, she's 87) so that she doesn't annoy the life out of everyone around her while she moves at a glacial pace to answer the damn thing, which is of course set at a gazillion decibels. I guess the joke is on me...I'm the only one annoyed because all of the folks around her are in her ~ahem~ demographic, and don't hear it anyway, lol. Love the mom, hate the phone.
