I'm relatively comfortable that this move is one or both of two things; 1) A move to avoid having to discuss the lawsuit and all of ^those^ other things on camera, and 2) A contrived way to explain away the accusations made in the lawsuit, i.e. "I now know that my drinking was at the core of my bad decisions, and I needed to take my sobriety more seriously." If I thought she could be sincere about #2, then I would be all "rah rah Luann!" I don't and I'm not. Not yet anyway. Dr. Pill is always saying something like the greatest predictor of the future is the past. Maybe the smartest thing he's ever said. No, that's a lie, the smartest thing he ever said is, "why yes Oprah, I'd love to be a guest on your show."

The RHOC forum appears to have been set up by @Aethera. If it were me, I would PM this person, and ask if they're planning on starting the new season's first episode before tonight.

You just described the image I had in my head of me raising kids. Which is why I didn't have any. I recognized that I was too selfish to be a mom. I wish more people would see themselves as they are, before they procreate. We would have a lot fewer messed up folks walking around.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of florals in food & beverage, but I do enjoy a mild lavender product to soak my tootsies. A drop of lavender oil with a warm Epson salts footbath, is muy bueno.

My unsolicited $.02, is that this site, built for snark, welcomes our opinions about a given TV personality whether or not they have lived or do live an accomplished life. It's great that we don't have to denegrate or buttress any of their accomplishments or missteps, as an entrance fee to participate here. <slowly closes the door, while backing out of the room>

I don't believe the pillow story is anything more than that; a story. He has mentioned wanting to do pro bono work, but I don't know if that is happening or if he's just flapping his gums. I can sort of see how the filming schedule could interfere with working for a law firm, so perhaps for now anyway, he has weighed the income opportunity and Bravo has won out. It would behoove him to get involved with the legal profession in some way, to keep abreast of things until the day comes that Bravo stops calling.

You're exactly right. I should have said the OC contract. All of these women are screechers. If you think about it, the only ones that weren't screechers are gone. Let's hope the new blood has a quieter affect.

I've noticed that we don't hear anything about Teri, her friend/maid of honor from Florida. She appeared and was spoken of rather often in the early seasons and of course, played a fairly large role in the Bethenny wedding spin-off. Seems odd that she would decide not to participate, but I suppose that is possible.

I think the shoes are awful, but no one is photographing me in my shoes, so... What I find most curious is that her pedicure/condition of her feet looks rather sub-par to me, and having a bandage on a toe (left foot, second toe) should make them less than ideal for shoe modeling.
