  1. I don’t know how they would have done it either.
  2. I did not like Natalie Dyer's hairdo this season. It looked too limp and damp looking. They should have given her the Jennifer Grey treatment. That hairstyle aged her horribly.
  3. That Russian accent on Finn...oh, boy! Well, at least he did something daring for a change.
  4. Could have trimmed and edited some scenes, but I liked it overall. It wasn’t anything special, but I enjoyed the music. Could have done without the endless driving.
  5. I hope I enjoy this. There is too many mixed reviews.
  6. I am always so proud of my mother's Puerto Rican heritage. That is what makes us more patriotic in the first place. I don't want a Trumpian wannabe running Puerto Rico's government. It's such a beautiful island and to see it tainted by a man who follows no principles would make my skin crawl. But we are Puerto Ricans. We always know how to make the world a better place. The political world today is becoming too hectic all of a sudden. I pray for normalcy.
  7. I think it was the growth spurt between Noah and Finn which was the reason for those bad hairdos. They grew up so much that they must have been unrecognizable. I hope by next season that the hairstylist would ditch that look because it was ridiculous by 1985! I am not saying that the Mid-West were behind in the times, but I don't think by 1985 that any teenage boy would be caught dead in that style. As for the high waisted shorts, I remember my shorts going by passed the thigh region in 1987! I think the shorts shown here on the show was not that high compare to what we worn in the 80s. There was an 80s film that had Kirk Cameron wearing short shorts going almost practically passed the butt region.
  8. I just found out the actress playing young Judy is the same age as the real one when she did Wizard of Oz. I thought that was cool.
  9. My late grandmother was big a Judy Garland fan, but do you think Renee can pull it off?
  10. I just brought tickets for Tuesday. I hope I don't regret it.
  11. Fred Savage and Jack Dylan Grazer(Shazam) should do a movie together. They both have that exact personality we see in both movies and interviews.
  12. That's why the number one rule is to not make the character another Urkel or Cousin Oliver. That throws the premise of the show's theme. I hate this trope. The writers think this works because of wherever the wind blows. It doesn't work and it becomes an annoying habit. Erica is best used in small doses.
  13. Based on the novel by Donna Tarft, a boy is taken in by a wealthy Upper East family after his mother was killed by a bombing at the Met. Anybody read this book? I heard it is like 900 pages.
  14. This was my mother's favorite actor. Upon hearing the news, I think the world is much sadder now that he is gone. I hope all the actors/directors that worked with him put tributes on their Instagram or Twitter accounts. This man deserves the mass respect. RIP Hauer.
  15. The 80s were an interesting time period. I know from 1980-1982, people were still wearing late 70s fashion. I think there is a lot of misconceptions about the era itself. People who are born in the 90s probably thought the era was all colors. However, films like Caddyshack or Fame could say it was not that colorful. I personally think 1983 or 1984 was the transitional period when artists like Madonna and Michael Jackson did something incrediblely new with the fashion trends. And many 70s artists were following that trend as well. I think 1985 was the year it found its 80s style that we know now. Big hair, jelly shoes, feathered hair, colorful fashion, etc. It just seem an interesting decade to me.
  16. When I was watching John Oliver's Zazu, all I heard is him reporting on Last Week Tonight with "Welcome, welcome.." planted in my ear. I still cannot erase him from that show.
  17. There was an old clip of Miller on John Oliver's show before he joined Trump's administration. His attitude seemed no different then.
  18. In reality, if a person bleeds to death from a silencer and someone saw that, there would have been chaos already. A wave of hysteria. It was not believable what happened.
  19. Shazam! Or Captain Sparkle Fingers!
  20. You think his last wife knew about his affairs and chose to turn a blind eye to the whole allegation thing that got him to resigned?

    Cats (2019)

She is entering post Mellisa McCarthy level of annoying.
  22. I believe I saw Zapped! a long time ago on HBO. So I do remember that.
  23. 20 things you never knew of Top Gun Let me say that I was shocked that Scott Baio was ever considered the Maverick role. Had he starred in this movie and not do the Charles in Charge series, this movie would not have been greenlighted for a sequel. Trust me, I seen some of his films like Foxes and Bugsy Malone. He was never a good actor. All the other actors in those films outshines Baio's acting. What makes it work for Tom was that he is able to be equal to other characters and have chemistry with them. With Baio, I don't think you would see that. I could have imagined the negative reviews coming had Baio been in it. It would have been just Chachi playing a pilot. The funny thing he regretted turning the role, but this would have been a stain on both actors' career. Tom just made it happen.
  24. And judging Stranger Things and this made for TV take place in the same year, they weren't for off. 1985 was an interesting year then. The only difference was Mike and Will's hair. Surving(1985)
