Joss is the worst. She’s been cheating on her boyfriend and no one is ever going to actually yell at her for being cruel to a boy who has been nothing but sweet and kind to her.

He really does look fantastic. I’ve been watching from the beginning but was starting to lose interest until he joined.

There is no reason for Cody’s existence. Way too many bland men in their age demographic certainly. But if Marcus is gone (and he did just post a video of him and Maurice Bernard in their dressing rooms so I’m not convinced yet) I doubt it’s because TPTB want Nik gone or think he wasn’t up to snuff acting wise.

Honestly, Carly losing Jason is probably the worst thing that could happen to her, especially when she was soooo close to having him romantically. But people don’t see that as her getting a comeuppance because it wasn’t. It’s something bad that happened to her but wasn’t retribution for things she’s done. And I don’t even need that. I just need the show to give her an actual rival that they allow to be human and seen as decent too. Nina could be that, the actress is certainly up to it. But the writing doesn’t allow for it and it makes watching Carly frustrating in a way that steals all the fun from it. I won’t believe MC is out as Nik based solely on social media, but if it turns out to be true I hope they have someone good in the wings. His Covid replacement was not good and the one thing MC had was chemistry with MW. I’ll miss that if he’s gone. Also super curious to know what behind the scenes drama caused it.

Elizabeth has done some awful things in her day, and many stupid things too. But usually they made sense emotionally. This one not so much. Unless she wants to blow up her whole life? She actively wants to risk jail time and hurting a lot of people? I could buy that if she didn’t have young sons she was an active parent to. I kind of like the story, I just wish it made more sense.

If Liz is going to be involved in this Esme/Nik story I would like for Cam to be too. Get him out of the Joss and mob orbit.

It’s almost as if gender influences power dynamics even when the female is heir to the throne. In any case, not a big fan of people claiming things are “clear” just because they want to support their own interpretation. It’s a cheap way to argue. Criston deliberated his decision, his choice to sleep with her.

I don’t feel sorry for Criston at all. Some people seem think she forced him into sleeping with her? I don’t think she even seduced him. She offered herself to him and, with deliberation, he decided to accept. He’s the one who made vows he broke, not her. And I don’t think he killed dumb Joffrey because he felt threatened - he hated having the fact that he broke his vows thrown in his face and knowing that others knew. Up until this point in the show I felt like there was reply no one to root for. But I’m w solidly on the anti-Alicent/Cole side (assuming they team up after she gets him off for what was a crazy murder of an invited guest).

Except it’s not “clear.” What you described is inferred. Nothing has been made clear. Most of us have speculated and wondered if that’s the case, but it certainly has not been made clear. Which, if that’s what the show is going to end up showing us, I’m sure will be the point. But odd that she’d have so many discussions with Patty about wanting to kill him and there’s not even a glimmer of a mention btwn them of what really goes on. I don’t think viewers will be shocked if that’s what happens but I also don’t think people should be judged for not being certain at this point.

This week has actually been pretty enjoyable soapyness but today just had some weird scenes. Trina telling Ava she regrets so much (like what??). Spencer pulling away from her and saying he’s not her problem anymore (when was he?). And although I didn’t understand it I did love Trina being all accusatory with Nikolas. She’s watched Law & Order and knows it’s always the husband (and it sure seemed like it was about to be the husband with a pillow if she hadn’t walked in). I finally saw chemistry between this Trina and Spencer and I want more than a small crumb of a scene of them together please. Joss flirting with Dex like she forgot she has a boyfriend is very Carly’s daughter. And everyone praising them for not letting Ava bleed out on the Q deck, barf.

Molly and TJ are a big yawn. Willow had some actual sweet chemistry with TJ this week. But I guess Michael isn’t allowed to lose a girl unless she dies. Finn remains uncool. There ARE other people in Liz’s life he could call, but for some reason he’s overruled her decisions when it comes to keeping her dad out of her life. I hate this storyline. I’m still looking forward to Trina and Spencer even though I don’t trust Frank. I’ve waited a year for that couple, a year of truly awful soap opera storytelling. I’ve earned it.

Honestly one of the reasons I’m watching Days again. At least it’s entertaining in the ridic craziness

It felt really gross to me. I guess they had some fans but I think it was more Liz fans wanting her to have a good story. I’m with the others that were overjoyed to see him die. I do not like her with Finn though. I think they could have made her work with Drew but he’s Carly’s lapdog now.

Sometimes it shocks me how much CD’s portrayal makes me dislike Michael. I think the character sucks but I think that of Carly too and can still recognize LW as talented. Why does Nik, who for many many months was fine with Spencer not living with him, suddenly feel like the world will end if he moves out? They make him dumber everyday.

You meant Skins right? I definitely see the similarities, though Euphoria is much darker and smarter and has a much bigger budget. I liked Skins a lot, but it wasn’t quite so dreamlike and non linear.

I also was hoping for some of the magic of Normal People, but now realize that was almost entirely the actors. And the casting here just didn’t produce anything similar.

As usual, the GH actor drama is more interesting than the show. I do think it’s absolutely pathetic that fans of a couple (and I’m a Sprina fan myself) did a ten year deep dive to try and find something on this guy. That’s a separate and independent thought from what anyone might think of his tweets. I haven’t seen his tweets but I trust they’re bad. But soap fans are crazy, and the internet has really strengthened that crazy.

I’m liking Jensen on this show, surprised by how natural he seems.

Eden has definitely picked up some bad habits. It’s a shame because I’m in the minority (I think) that sees potential in her. But the other teen actors bring more depth and likability to their characters and she doesn’t have to because the show has already made her the leading lady.

She, Nicholas Chavez and Wil Lipton all got noms. As for Laura Wright and Kelly Thiebold. There were a couple others too.

Stefan spent weeks playing a ridiculous video game with Lucky just to mess with him a little in his plot to screw with the Spencers, he would have several plots in place to figure out and then control Esme. Victor seemed willing to ship her off (and Spencer thanked him for it) but he should be sharper about this. Everyone has to be dumbed down so the writers don’t have to come up with complex storylines.

I enjoyed the older woman loses her virginity in the hospital with the help of medical staff storyline more when it was on Scrubs. In a bad, silly episode, Asher’s story about his teenage boyfriend felt real and heart wrenching. I can’t stand the annoying nurse he’s going to date though.

I thought there was chemistry there too. Different from what NC had with Sydney, but when he sort of smirked while talking about how she’s done out of character things for him too (really feeling himself there) I saw a sort of hate spark ignite. But not only did he accuse her of terrible things and of lying to him about it, he was also still sleeping with Esme at the same time he was about to kiss Trina. They’re gonna need to do a lot to make them a viable couple again. Especially since new Trina (who was great yelling at him yesterday) really plays up the sweetness of Trina, it makes it even harder to accept the way Spencer has treated her. I hope new hot cop is a romantic interest for her.

Another day of Joss being an insufferable smug B. As great as it was that Trina told her off, I suspect they only wrote that in so that Joss could think “Trina is so mad at me, she must have released this sex tape!” Not that it makes sense but I can’t believe they’d have Trina stand up to Joss just because Joss deserved it. I hope Esme watched that tape and took notes where she’ll have to give Cameron some pointers during their future sexytimes.

She’s such a bad friend. Sure she’s right to say Spencer still has a girlfriend and you deserve better than that, but the second it suits her she uses Spencers feelings for Trina as a weapon to make that girl mad. I know she doesn’t know Esme drugged Trina but she knows Esme went after her. And she still hasn’t told Trina that Spencer said he likes her too! I know it’s old news but what kind of friend keeps that info to herself? No wonder Trina didn’t tell her about the almost kiss.
