I have a sinking feeling that if this show continues far into the future, we will be seeing more and more of Cassie. Gotta give props to Judy, she really set her girl up for life. LOL at Cass telling the rookie candidates that being a smiler isn't necessary-we saw her stank face and attitude for years. And her special talent of "laying down the law"-- umm no comment. Not surprised that she didn't share her key tip for DCC success: "Be Judy's daughter".

S07.E20: 'Til DeAth Do Us Part
Rubyslippahz replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Pretty Little Liars [V]
For the last time I will say:. This frickin show!!! Aria's dramatic discovery of her inability to have children was such a cheesy soap opera trope. So Alex said that the Emison babies were fathered by Wren, right? What was the point --why would he want to do that? Wasnt that unnecessarily dangerous for Wren to shoot Alex from across the room, just so she would have a matching scar to Spencer's gunshot wound? Especially a shot that had to land so near the upper chest and neck? Methinks there would be an easier way to achieve the same effect. When they panned to the church at the end I was hoping for at least a triple wedding of Ezria, Emison, and Spoby, plus heck maybe even Haleb renewing vows. I can't even begin to sort out the half baked overlapping and overly tangled supposed motivations of Wren/Alex/Archer/Charlotte. The crap about PLL: Next Gen was a travesty (Maya's Niece??) i hope no network lets Marlene run a show ever ever again. She took something that had promise and persistently ran it into the ground for years. Maybe it was Alex in a really realistic deer mask. -
I have seen every episode of this show, but I was totally flummoxed by the reference to Ezra's "son" Malcolm. I had completely forgot everything about that. This freaking show! Agree definitely NotSpencer was the one makin' it in the cabin with Grizzly Toby. Nice light touch there having Toby say "this isn't like the Spencer I know!" Especially as in the earlier scene Spencer appeared quite disdainful of Toby's invitation to join him. Hate to see Tanner back. Snore. Was so sure there was an Emison miscarriage pending when the "previously" showed Ali getting knocked down. Hmmmm. And I couldn't stop staring at the artful arrangement of lanterns, candles, and pillows for their woodland love scene. Strap in in everyone, just a few more episodes and we will be free of this!

What is happening to me? (Taylor Swift/Zayn vocals)---I thought sober James was kind of adorbs. I liked him copping to the fact he probably started dating Kristin to get a bigger role on the show! Lisa is so contemptuous of Shay and it is kind of obnoxious. But then Scheana has always been one of Lisa's most favored darlings. I bet next season that Scheana's new man Whatever Valletta will be prominently featured and Lisa will be so much more impressed by him than she was by Shay.

S05.E21: Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Schwartz
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in Vanderpump Rules
Ok I'm going to hell too because I totally snorted at the glimpse of the fateful "it's all happening" tat on Scheana's arm as well. It sure is all happening, huh Scheana? Was it on RHOBH this season that Lisa and Ken have alluded to buying a new restaurant for their son Max to eventually run? Maybe the Toms will just be the front guys for that and get it off the ground and popular. The opposite reactions of the Toms to Lisa's offer was hysterical. Schwartz is so lazy. Love when Sandoval choked up about being a bartender for 10 years. He is industrious. The trumpet! Maybe because I see Ariana with a jaundiced eye, but I immediately thought that part of the reason she broke down with Stassi about working so hard, the "fu%¥^#g cocktail book", etc was that Ariana was feeling jealous that Lisa was partnering with Sandoval on a new bar. -
Katie Maloney: She Was Taking Her Shoes Off!

Kind of interesting that both Tom and Katie had parents that divorced after decades of marriage and neither divorce sounds that friendly. -
S05.E20: Taco Tuesday, Wedding Wednesday
Rubyslippahz replied to Tara Ariano's topic in Vanderpump Rules
- I am more excited to find out more about Scheana and Shay divorcing than to see more of the wedding. She was so over the top in describing her marital bliss to Lisa V. Plus the topknot on her head made her look like a space alien. Love when Peter asked where Shay was and Scheana said he needed to go upstairs and lie by the fan for awhile. -Schwartz has a handsome cry face. Can't believe he skipped taking a shower on his wedding day though especially after frolicking in a river. But his mom is so pretty! Stassi and Scheana's moms, in the other hand... -Sandoval taking umbrage at the rude way Jax was talking to the triplets--oh Sandoval, your hidden depths! - How can Brit look at Jax and want to marry him and have kids with him????? -Detest Katie but grudgingly liked her headband thingy -so in the next episode is Lisa going to ask the Toms to run her new bar??? Is the current cast ever going to "age out" and be replaced by bartenders and servers who aren't heading towards 40? Can Bravo support another Vanderpump spinoff? -
Right, is that too much to ask? Ha has Mike had any legitimate music success? I vaguely remember when James first came on the show it seemed like Mike and James were working together on one of Scheana's "tracks"
-
- This season has convinced me that Katie is a full blown monster. Can't stand her. So smug and dumb. - That scary music, Blair Witch style segment of Stassi driving in the woods was funny. - Love Jax shading Scheana and Shay and worrying he'll be in the delivery room with her while Shay lays down hip beats in the studio. Jax is like a steroidal stinky oracle sometimes--he has always had their number. WTH was up with Scheana announcing she needs to see a fertility doctor now to be ready to get pregnant later because she's a "planner". Awesome closeup of the glamour shot of Scheana and Shay on their prissy 10 year old girl decorated marital bedroom, then the camera draws back to another scene from their doomed marriage. I was digging hostile, DGAF, done with it Shay in that scene. - Dinner at Raquel's fam, oh my. Those throne- like, crest -embossed dining chairs. Their gasps of horror at James not working at SUR any longer were so fake, and asking him to serve the lasagna as he works at a restaurant. The lasagna and garlic break looked yum though. - Evrybody, Lala SUFFERS from anxiety! Go easy on her! Hahaha

S21.E12: The Final Rose/S21.E13: After the Final Rose
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
I like those theorizing above that Rachel might be in this for a career in sports/sports broadcasting. That makes sense. She did stress how into sports she was a lot during the season. And from experience I know being a lawyer, especially the kind of work she does, can suck so she might want to get out of that career. I swear during ATFR they did not show any kind of retrospective clips of Vanessa and Nick on their "journey" such as when she first got out of the limo, their zero gravity date, etc? Am I right? So strange, maybe Chris/producers did kind of detest them as a couple. Way to sell the romance of it so short, they had no problem showing exhaustive clips of Corinne/Taylor's every exchange during the season on WTA. And the thing of the proposal being seriously edited as Vanessa obviously has two different shades of lip gloss on in different parts of it-- how sloppy are the people putting the show together? Seems like they DGAF about viewers who invested hours a week into watching the season --- time to push the next new shiny iteration (Rachel). Vanessa hardly posts on social media at all-- it is very strange especially compared to others who have been F1. She just posted a photo of her, Nick, Peta, and Peta's baby but her social media presence is strangely scarce. -
S21.E12: The Final Rose/S21.E13: After the Final Rose
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
I agree with those noting that it is weird that fantasy suites were not discussed last night especially as Chris teased talking about Raven's at the top of ATFR. But given the clearly ill vibes with N and V that was probably for the best. Nick looked scared to death when Raven was on stage with him and terrified to show nary a flicker of affection. He could have been afraid that Vanessa's huge family group was going to rise en masse from the audience with torches if he did so. I wonder why the hell V went on the Bachelor--- because she seemed massively I'll prepared to deal with the realities of a Bachelor season. If you are deeply haunted by not feeling like you are 'the only special person in the world' (she actually said that during a date near the end) this is not your jam. Starting in St Thomas she seemed frankly pissed that she was on the Bachelor at all, and remember after her hometown date she was crying to the camera about him possibly having feelings for the other women as if the thought had never occurred to her. Duh. Well now Raven (who came off the season smelling like a rose) gets BIP and Rachel is the 'Ette -and Vanessa has the prize of an already fraught relationship with Nick. -

Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
YES seriously what the hell was that? Way to be reassuring Chris. Although at that point they were portraying Vanessa as knowing she had it in the bag, and Nick as the one who had to worry about her accepting the proposal, so maybe Chris knew she'd laugh it off. -
S21.E12: The Final Rose/S21.E13: After the Final Rose
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
Am I nuts or did Chris H say something at the start of ATFR about asking Raven about the fantasy suite, but he never actually did ask her anything about it? Vanessa said she only watched her portion of the fantasy suite episodes. Would have bern funny when she was talking about Nick cooking her breakfast if Chris would have said , "Oh yeah like he cooked Rachel eggs after they slept together?" Bwahahaha -
S21.E12: The Final Rose/S21.E13: After the Final Rose
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
Agree that Nick and Vanessa were much cuter and more "in love" acting on Kimmel than ATFR. I'm glad because the vibe of ATFR was baaad. Almost uncomfortable. I was almost expecting Nick to pull a Mesnick with Raven. All the stuff about their knockdown drag out fights (topics not disclosed) they've already had?!? And I can't believe that they actually set up the proposal scene with V basically saying, I'm confident Nick will propose, but I don't know if I'll accept it. Plus when she saw Ravens coat hanging there wouldn't she have known Raven was rejected? Sigh. I noticed neither Raven nor Rachel had one kind word to say about Vanessa when Chris asked them their reactions to the finale. On Kimmel, Vanessa said of the other women, she was close to Danielle M and Taylor(!!) For the 4 Bachelors that Rachel met, couldn't they have made just ONE of them handsome to give her something to look forward to???? Her outfit was gorgeous though. -
Things must be dire when you really miss DJ James Kennedy and Lala and are stoked they are back next week. The focus this season on the Bubbas pathetic relationship and nuptials is so stale. I was more excited about Scheana and Schay getting married TBH Stassi-- "not murder-y enough" ha I am really appreciating Sandoval this season. Dude has timing and is pretty funny!

S21.E10: Week 10/S21.E11: The Women Tell All
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
The repeated thing of Nick wanting something "raw" and "challenging" and how Vanessa has that over, say, someone like Danielle L is interesting. Danielle L was like a busty bot programmed to spout Bachelor-speak inanities, and it was clear after the 2 on 1 that Nick just couldn't with her. It's telling that after apparently seeing Danielle L as a potential F1 at the very start, he later actually cried with happiness after his first 1 on 1 with Vanessa. I think that was relief that he had finally connected to one of the women big time. I wonder how surprised -or not - Raven will be if she is not chosen. She definitely hasn't shown the confidence that she's the one than Vanessa has. I think the look on Vanessa's face after Rachel was eliminated was joy that her top competitor was gone--and that Raven wasn't that much of a threat in her mind. That said I find Raven very likable, especially how she came across in group dates over the season-- not thrashing around for attention and with a nice sense of humor (like when she said Jasmine was going to shank someone during the volleyball debacle). -
S21.E10: Week 10/S21.E11: The Women Tell All
Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
Danielle M really sexed it up in her WTA outfit. She came across as so wan and retiring during the actual season. Based on Insta, Danielle M seems to be just about the only woman who is friends with Vanessa. Danielle L, sorry she is the WORST. Her sobbing and inability to "understand" how Nick could possibly lose interest in her after spending time with her just created Exhibit Z in how boring and clueless she was. I give Nick props for dismissing her when he did, because other guys would have taken her much further in the "journey" despite her utter banality. -

Rubyslippahz replied to OnceSane's topic in The Bachelor
So is the consensus that Nick did "fiancé things" with all of the final 3? Did anyone else snicker at the "Lapland Hotel" plaque above the fantasy suite door? I waffle back and forth on Vanessa. She is very beautiful, and I do like her forthright personality. But wow I feel stressed out just watching her intense convos with Nick. And for realz if her and Nick spending every Sunday with her fam in Montreal is her "nonnegotiable" and "core value", umm NO that's not going to work out. I know it was edited to some effect ---- but the virtual wailing, gnashing of teeth, and rending of garments among her family in the hometown was a lot. I still wonder WTH her ex boyfriend did that had everyone in her family so spun out over their breakup, but unlike Raven she didn't tell all. -
Raven had rehabilitated herself from her TMI stiletto story, only to go all TMI again. Their FS date was excruciating with listening to her ramble on in what seemed like real time. And I generally like Raven and how she's handled herself this season-- no pun intended I could feel the chill between Vanessa and Rachel at the rose ceremony. Contrast it with all three women smiling at Corinne when she appeared, Raven hugging Corinne at the end, and Raven and Rachel chatting a bit after. The preview of Nick and Vanessa next week when she acts so dismayed that he doesn't consider himself "traditional" -- what planet is she on? Yep V, a 36 year old guy who has spend the last few years of his life madly flitting from one Fleiss production to another is a real traditional man. I'm sure he can't wait to settle down into a quiet family life.

When this show spun off from that Vanderpump episode I wouldn't have predicted Kyle as the voice of reason and the least annoying member of the crew. Lol at Ashley Twin crying on the phone to her husband about how she needed to spend the summer in NY because of Lauren. Yeah, that and trying to become a minor Bravo-lebrity..... Carl is grody and I loved the part where Lauren is claiming there is no proof he hooked up with the California girl as they show clips of him doing just that.
