  1. I said in an earlier post her outfit looked like an Ugly Christmas nightgown....thanks for posting the photo - seeing it again, it's even MORE hideous than I remember! ;-)
  2. And, the saddest part of this is that Laura did not pursue a career in fashion design. I would crawl on my knees for anything made by her. Her tailoring was impeccable and her designs were timeless, imo. Ok, so they tended to skew to an "older" client (to me that means anyone who doesn't want their breasts or buttocks falling out), but a woman could buy one of her dresses/gowns/suits while in their 30's and, if they remain the same size, would be able to still wear it in their 60's. To me, that's classic fashion.
  3. Well, the dress in that photo looks horrible on her too, but last night, Nina was wearing some black thing that was chiffon on top, with some red and green sparkly embellishments. I couldn't really see the bottom, but what I did see looked pretty bad, too. The dress she is wearing in this photo - I swear I had several versions of this back in the late 80's/early 90's. I'm not saying that Nina should be dressing like a 20-something, which would look ridiculous, but sometimes, I don't get her personal fashion sense.
  4. Hers is one of the worst I've heard...it's a combination of "Valley Girl" speak and vocal fry - my ears were hurting!!
  5. No pass on the dress from me, when she snarkily commented in her talking head that it just walked down the Moschino runway. This woman has a HUGE thing for label/name dropping. (Even when she mentioned the Chanel makeup bag she gave to Dorit). As far as being throwing up for two days - first thing I thought was maybe she was pregnant!
  6. Plus, Dorit is younger, and it looks as if Dorit and PK have an actual mutually loving relationship. I thought his speech was very nice, and she seemed genuinely thrilled and impressed by what he did for her - very nice to see her give him a genuine big hug and a kiss on the lips, as opposed to giving him a peck on the head and pat on the back to send him off to bed (Erika to Tom at her party). Funny thing - PK actually DID the party for his wife - not the other way around {Erika planning her own party} - and there was actual food, drinks, and a fun time.
  7. I bet this is one party where a Fatburger food truck would have been very welcome!
  8. I think Dorit is trying to one-up Heather Dubrow - if I recall correctly, she had a ton of household staff, as well.
  9. I kept trying to think who Dorit reminded me of, and all I got was Gamble from Real Housewives of Melbourne. Not sure how I feel about her, but all the affected accents is very distracting.
  10. Or, maybe it's Downy Wrinkle Releaser (disguised in a generic spray bottle) so they don't have to iron the sheets, LOL!! (Just for the record, Downy Wrinkle Releaser is one of my favorite things!)
  11. Wow---I didn't know that! I'm (unashamedly) a Harry Potter geek, but that was a fact I did not know! ;-)
  12. I couldn't figure out what it was about the front porch that I didn't like (aside from the fact that I thought it should have been painted to match the rest of the house), but I realized that there were no spindles. Just board that ran horizontally. While the design was nice, it wasn't in keeping with the rest of the exterior of the house. The natural wood, the horizontal boards, the peaked roof all reminded me of a ski mountain/lakefront home - not a painted brick house in the middle of Texas. Also - why is it that it seems like Joanna's designs never include a television?
  13. Here's the thing about Cynthia - I liked her townhouse, and I liked that she had a reasonable house that was {presumably} without ridiculous amounts of debt attached to it, or trying to live outside of her means, like so many of the other women on this show. The lake house is beautiful, but it just seems to me like too much house for her and Noel, especially with Noel going off to college. Cynthia's mentioned several times that Atlanta is NOT her home - LA or NY were more to her liking. Noel was considering going to college in California, and her Dad is there, as well (or is he in NY). Anyway, I hope that Cynthia will make a good profit on that townhouse, because the show isn't going to last forever, and I don't know how well her sunglass/messenger bag business is doing. I hope that she has smart people working her money for her.
  14. So glad this show is back - even with all its inconsistencies and over-the-top ridiculousness! Loving the relationship between Len and Jasper (oh my - he is quite the eye candy!!), looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. And, so glad that Mr. Hill is back, as he is probably my favorite character right now. Excited to see how his storyline plays out, as well. It's nice to see that Helena seems a little softer this season, at least towards her children. Have to agree with the poster upthread about getting some of Simon's DNA - there has to be something of his around that huge palace - a hairbrush, his formal clothes, etc., that would serve the purpose. Still not getting any of Liam's storylines, especially the Fight Club scenes. I mean, seriously - that is really ridiculous. His face is all over the place, on posters, on TV, social media (#kingliam), etc. Would there really be anyone that would be willing to beat the crap out of him without any fear of recrimination or punishment? I get that Liam is sort of punishing himself for whatever he feels he is responsible for, but this storyline is just a little too much, even for this show. I did like the scene with all the sugary cereals with Willow (is that her name?). I especially liked the scene in the underground with Willow (?) and Helena and all the bodyguards, but for some reason, when Willow was the standing all alone on the platform, I was half-expecting to see Professor Dumbledore and Harry Potter to whisk her away using side-along apparition. Cyrus - oh my - I didn't think he could get any worse, but the actor seems to revel in the ultimate villian role, and plays it well. "Bubble Boy" cracked me up, LOL!!! Robert - is it REALLY him, or is it someone else? Still trying to figure that one out. Just so happy this show is back!!!! :-)
  15. I cannot believe that Cynthia thinks that she can get one over on the viewers with her comments about WHY Peter wants her to sell the house! It wouldn't surprise me that he demanded either 1/2 or all of the proceeds as a divorce settlement from Cynthia, and she, who has no backbone, caved into his demand request.
  16. Well, if Peter did, you can probably safely bet that Apollo won't have a penny of it left when he gets out of jail! ;-) I totally fast-forwarded through all of that. Even on FF, there was more than I wanted to see.
  17. I think that if Mah Jing could hook up with Kini, they could totally rock the denim world....not necessarily in making jeans, but in creating some great dresses, coats, etc., out of all kinds of denim.
  18. Wow - I wonder why? I haven't been enjoying this season's cast, and the show kind of went off in another direction, with all the visits from crew's family, etc., but I would have liked to see a reunion. Could there possibly have been a lot more discord between them that we didn't see, and none of them were really up for it? I could totally see Kyle and Lauren blowing off a reunion, as well as Sierra, so who does that leave? Kate, Ben, Capt. Lee, Nico and Emily? Not much of a reunion there.
  19. You know I always LOVE your comments, ZM, and this one, just made me laugh out loud! And, why did I picture you (well, your avatar, anyway), saying this in a talking head with some over-designed backdrop?? ;-)
  20. I think there's even more than that. I think the secrets go all the way back to when Vicki was still married to Donn, starting with that guy in the pool in Puerto Vallarta (or was it Cabo) that looked just like Donn, and Vicki supposedly hooking up with him (Tamra called her out on this at another previous reunion). I really think that Tamra knows more about Vicki than anyone.
  21. And, Vicki still didn't back down or apologize to Shannon. She just kept repeating some b.s. about "I'll stand behind my statement that no man should ever hit a woman". (Not that I think the statement is b.s. - I totally agree - I just think that was Vicki's way of non-apologizing) Shannon is a better person than I - Vicki would be sporting a couple of black eyes if she said that shit about my husband.
  22. Of course Andy looked pissed off. Vicki's comment about "I like Eddie - I LIKE YOU" came across very homophobic - as if she was saying "I like you, Andy, even if you're gay". She said something else that I couldn't quite make out at the end of the conversation, and I think that's when Andy got super pissed at her. I also think that Vicki is just a little bit more afraid of Tamra than she is of the other women, because Tamra has been around Vicki the longest, and has been "best friends" with Tamra. I'm thinking that Tamra knows a LOT of secrets about Vicki that she could spill if she wanted to be as mean and hurtful to Vicki as Vicki was to Shannon. I think Vicki doesn't want those secrets to come out, so that could be why she backed off from Tamra.
