I seem to remember that last season, there was a dinner or drinks or something with Yolanda and David and Erika and Tom, and I seem to remember something with David saying he wanted to work with Erika (or something like that)...am I mis-remembering or did I imagine all of that? I agree with you that both Dorit and Erika are both phony (well, I think that most of the housewives of all cities are phonies) but I think that Dorit is a little more genuine than Erika, or at least that's the impression I get, because I do think that Erika has a wall up, or comes across as cold, so we haven't really seen much of a real person beneath that polished, glam-squadded up exterior. And, the reason I think that Erika puts up a wall is because she is very insecure. She is of the school of "I'm going to turn you away before you get the opportunity to do that to me".

I think Mikey and his minions don't know the difference between stage makeup/hair and real life makeup/hair. I usually like the intricate hairstyles they create - they do amazing things with braiding, etc. - but last night, it looked like she stuck her finger in an electrical socket. It was intentionally sloppy looking and just looked ridiculous, imo. I get the whole "messy bun" and "bed-head" looks, but WTF was that 'do last night? And, her makeup was so over the top for anything but the stage. The heavy eyeliner, lashes and gold glitter shadow is perfect for a performance where people see her from a distance, but up close looks clownish and garish. Plus, when Erika cried getting off the junk boat, she looked nice (I don't think she was actually really crying, though - I think just tears were falling). At that dinner, she just looked not good. Maybe that's why Erika never cries in public - because she's an ugly-cryer? I understand this - I am one, too.

Wonder if that is where the Glam Squad lives - y'know - when they're not up Erika's butt telling her how fabulous she is.

Yeah - Vinnie wouldn't look? I snorted my iced tea when she said that - of course he would!!! Wasn't he the same one who was peeking out his garage windows when Brandi was fighting with Kyle in their driveway? Not that it's the same thing, but I think that she's giving him more credit than is due.

Sorry - I'm not buying that. Tom, in a filmed lunch with Erika was raving about her latest video, and is obviously, fully on board with her alter-ego/music career. And, if Erika was so upset over Tom finding out that she goes out of the house without panties and someone's husband may have seen her private parts, why didn't Erika tell him about it way back when it was an issue (say, after Dorit gave her the underwear)? Erika completely unraveled during this trip - I don't know if it was jet lag, or something else, but it was more than the "ice queen melting" as LVP said - this was more like the ice queen was completed roasted on a hot fire. Something is wrong there, very wrong.

Well, Pinterest, of course! All brides are now trolling Pinterest for all these ideas to make their wedding "unique" - what they don't seem to grasp is that six million other brides are doing the same thing, so they're not so unique at all! I think the trend started a few years ago, when "shabby chic" and "rustic elegance" became a big wedding theme. There are a ton of brooch bouquets available on Etsy that are much prettier and more well done that Katie's! I've seen several brides who will attach one or two brooches to their bouquets, or often, a locket with a photo of a deceased loved one (grandparent, parent, etc.). Katie's poor little bouquet looked like a not-so-well-done craft project, unfortunately.

Yup...I'm right there with you, Maharincess - I'm totally confused!! Wasn't there a scene with Phaedra and her attorney, and the attorney said "the divorce is final"? I think I just watched a rerun of that episode. There was something about Apollo not knowing and not having received the final papers, but I thought for sure that was what the attorney said.

Absolutely agree 100%. Although, with these ladies and knowing that production wants there to be some type of drama and "fireworks", if it's not Rinna, it would have to be someone else. Not excusing Rinna, at all, but maybe it would be nice to see drama from someone else on a trip! :-)

I used to do the ziplock bag thing for my sons when they went to sleep away sports camps. I would label each bag for each day they would be gone. It worked like a charm, and they always wore a fresh change of clothes every day. I do this for myself now, but with packing cubes.

Absolutlely! If you look at the top photo, Erika's arms are completely photoshopped/shaved so that they don't even look natural. Plus, lots of blending and contouring on the face. This top photo looks as if they were trying to create a CGI image - not an actual photo.

Yup...I mentioned Quinn/Roxy in my original post~~that was the first thing that came to my mind, too. (Well, just because I think that Eden is a whack-a-doodle, and I thought that Quinn was a little kooky, too)

I guess you are right - personally, I was probably projecting my feelings about Eden and how I perceive her behaviors onto the whole wig wearing. The ladies of Atlanta are known for wearing wigs, so I don't usually make anything out of what they do. Except for when Nene would wear something really atrocious, then I would have to comment on it. With Eden, I do think that she is attention hungry, and wore that wig to draw attention to herself with the ladies, especially since the hair color was pretty much the opposite of her current hair color. I also thought that the severity of the style of wig (straight, black with heavy bangs) was something worn for comment. Cynthia, as far as I can remember, mostly wears wigs that are the same color or similar color to her current natural hair. Erika, also, I think wears wigs and different hair pieces/weaves, but they are always in her blonde color. Just my random thoughts on the wig and Eden...

Okay...so, Erika claims these guys are her friends. They are her "friends" for as long as they continue to collect a paycheck from her. If Erika and Tom were to divorce, and she could no longer afford their services, I think they'd be out of her life pretty damn fast, look book pages blowing in the wind behind them!! I, too, think that Erika is very insecure, and that could be why she puts up a wall. I think that sometimes, her inner poor girl from Georgia pops up, and she feels less than the other ladies. It also could be that she knows she is one signature on a divorce decree from being back at the Georgia house in the woods. Tom is very well known for being a great lawyer. Even if they have a pre-nup in place, I'm sure he could figure out a way to leave her with hardly anything. So, when she's feeling insecure, the wall goes up. Well, there was the birthday party with no food at Erika and Tom's home. You also said pretty much everything I just said above, only you said it better! :-)

When they were in the park, and Kyle said she wanted to buy something "from" Hong Kong, Erika mentioned jade, and that she had purchased some beautiful jade pieces when there previously, with Tom - so maybe she already had it. Or, she did buy it while shopping with Kyle. Either way, it was gorgeous!!

I agree - Erika's outfits always look more like costumes to me. As I said - it's like she plays a role for each event she is involved in, and chooses her clothes accordingly ~~ or, her glam squad does. She seems to dress the way Hollywood has dictated the fashion for that particular country. (Silk robe with embroidery for Hong Kong, all white, loose and gauzy for Greece, etc.) With regard to Eileen's M.I.L.F. t-shirt - there was smaller writing beneath the large MILF letters. I was trying to read it, but couldn't make out the entire saying because of the way Eileen was sitting - part of it was blocked. I think the smaller writing on the shirt gave an explanation for the letters that were not what MILF originally stood for.

I'm thinking that at the Reunion, Rinna will drag this all out (to get more "good" reunion time focused on her, as a victim of gossip, opposed to "bad" reunion time as the starter of shit about Kim and Kyle), and she will probably also present the bag-o-pills, with some type of drug analysis paperwork for each and every pill! :-)

Ummm...because they all know that she is b.s. crazy?? Eden in her wig reminded me of Quinn/Roxie from her one season on RHOC. She liked to pretend she was another persona when wearing her wig. I was thinking that Eden was ready for a night on the town, in disguise, so she could pick up someone in a bar somewhere, and have random sex.

I'm thinking that is Eileen in real life. If her soap role is anything other than what she is like on RH, and she is believable in it, she's not just Daytime Emmy worthy, she's Oscar-worthy!

I agree. The thing that struck me as weird was the way that Rinna sort of laughed off the possibility of being to addicted to Xanax. She was being very sarcastic when she said something like "Dorit thinks I'm addicted to XANAX? XANAX, really??" - as if taking a Xanax is equal to taking an Advil or Tylenol. (Maybe it is for some people.) I do think that Dorit said whatever she said in an off-hand, trying to be humorous, way, and I also think that, yet again, this comment got changed in the relaying to Rinna from whomever (I'm thinking it was either Erika or production), as they were the only ones present that were actually speaking to Rinna at the time. probably....
