  1. He also appeared on Whose Line is it Anyway in 1999:
  2. It was nice to see Christie on the show today and explain what happened. My mom, who fell some years back and suffered a similar injury to Christie's can't watch those replays without cringing. Ouch. It was also great that Sara and Aisha got shout-outs today. Both are still loved and missed by many.
  3. Now that was smart. What a creep. 😠😠😠😠😠
  4. Great points. Also, what better way to commemorate the show's 50th anniversary? ☺
  5. Wendy can dish it out, but she sure can't take it!
  6. I think part of it had to do with the fact that they are appearing on HGTV as themselves and not their characters. That's my theory, anyway.
  7. I agree, and I believe the emotional reactions to seeing the finished rooms are genuine. It's definitely genuine when they talk about the "grownups" of the cast who are no longer with us.
  8. Well, if he's convicted and has to do substantial time he won't have to worry about any team wanting him - 32 or not! (Yeah, where was the fact checker there?) Another interesting article: https://triblive.com/sports/felipe-vazquezs-arrest-stirs-up-emotions-in-pirates-clubhouse/
  9. I think Marie said that it was fillings she had had as a child that were poisoning her and that's what led up to the fainting spell. Then they found tumors in her jaw. That's what it sounded like, anyway. Wendy Williams has some nerve for putting Christie Brinkley down like this. I guess she forgot about a fainting spell while wearing a Statue of Liberty costume. What a mean, nasty and bitter woman.
  10. Here's an interesting op-ed about that. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.12up.com/amp/posts/pirates-clean-out-felipe-vazquez-locker-after-arrest-solicitation-sexual-assualt-01dn0d6vj2gc
  11. ...and will be 65 before the month is out (9/30/1954).
  12. Even if she doesn't look/seem particularly excited, I think one of the reasons that Eve agreed to do this was that she could bring her own artistic talents to the project. She has been an accomplished painter for years (and as revealed last night, even painted one of the pictures in the girls' room). To be fair, Eve just doesn't strike me as a very demonstrative person. She seems private and introverted, as are many other people. I misted over watching Barry working on Mike's den. It really seemed like a labor of love to him, and a way to honor the memory of Robert Reed. It will be fun to see the recreations of Carol and Mike's room, Alice's room, the kitchen, the family room, etc. I also think that if HGTV does decide to sell the house, it will be to a Brady fanatic who will keep everything as is.
  13. Throw the book at him!! 😠 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/27636942/pirates-vazquez-charged-sexual-assault-child%3fplatform=amp
  14. More bad news for the Indians... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/jason-kipnis-needs-season-ending-surgery-and-his-long-tenure-with-the-indians-is-likely-over/amp/
  15. Mine right now is the bluegrass take on the Bob Evans jingle. I sing along every time!! 😂
  16. I read this too fast. I thought you said the ROYALS beat the Chiefs. What a heck of a feat. Who would KC fans root for? 😉😝😂 Anyway, great post as usual.
  17. The first one actually doesn't bother me too much. The other two - UGGGGH!!
  18. Brad Hand and Jason Kipnis have both had wrist injuries the past few days. Both have had to get MRIs. I can count on one hand the number of Indians who have been able to play all year without injury, but I'm afraid to name them because I might jinx them. 😳 How did Cal Ripkin do it all those years??? Scary scene over the weekend in DC, when the Braves played the Nats... https://www.google.com/amp/s/tomahawktake.com/2019/09/16/updates-atlanta-braves-charlie-culberson-mostly-good-sad-expected/amp/ I am sure that the greatest emotional support Charlie gets will be from his hitting coach, Kevin Seitzer. In his playing career, Kevin was hit in the head three times. The second time, he suffered facial bone fractures similar to the Charlie's. The third time, he wore a C-flap helmet and wore it for the rest of his career. So, Mr. Culberson has a great support system. I hope and pray he heals quickly, both physically and emotionally.
  19. I think all Browns fans feel that way, though as human beings we all feel for someone injured.
  20. He actually went to high school here in the Cleveland area...and graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1963. My dad went to the same school before transferring to a different school in the area in 1962. I never knew that my dad and Ric Ocasek went to the same school at the same time (though they weren't in the same class)!!
  21. For the record, my second car was a used 1992 Buick Skylark. OK, maybe it looked like an "old people" car (and I did buy it in 2012 from a lady in her 90s that was no longer allowed to drive), but I had no problems with it in the nearly two years I owned it. It was reliable, got good gas mileage and had very comfortable seats. The car also had a quirk - it required two different keys, one for the ignition and the other for the door locks.
  22. I also miss Carrie Ann beginning the show with "let's start talking". Now it's just, "let's talk". 😞
  23. Not to mention the Indians.
