  1. Just a guess, maybe the reporter b/f isn't available (maybe covering a story out of town), so Will is her "plus one"
  2. At the end, when the Colonel showed up in his dress uniform and then was indignant when Jane accused him, I got a flashback to Col. Jessup from A Few Good Men. I guess all Marine colonels are the same 😂 Kinda appropriate, as A Few Good Men inspired JAG which inspired NCIS 🙂
  3. This might belong in the "SWAT in the media" thread, but bear with me. I wonder if it keeps getting renewed because CBS doesn't have anything better to replace it with i. e. a dearth of pilots)
  4. IIRC (and I may not), the "007" was from his early intern days when he lost one or more patients, and someone (probably Alex) gave him the 007 moniker (i.e., James Bond "license to kill") 😂 Kinda sick humor, but I think that's where that came from
  5. I'm pretty much undecided how it will turn out. Based on the preview (which of course are often misleading, intentionally or otherwise:
  6. The premiere for the 7th and final season of Station 19 is tonight, March 14, 2024 at 10:00 PM EDT (looks like ABC has returned the original schedule of having Station 19 following Grey's Anatomy) Per TV Guide.com, the episode title is "This woman's work".
  7. True, but the first time (IIRC), Hondo was in Mexico on personal time, unrelated to a case.
  8. Well, I for one enjoyed seeing that a-hole get "ventilated" 😂
  9. Either a) WiFi was widely available earlier in the FAM timeline, or b) That sign was there for the motel where they filmed and they forgot to cover it up 😂
  10. Wonder in the FAM timeline if Howard is on SiriusXM or still syndicated on “terrestrial” radio (I assume that SiriusXM itself is still a thing, or maybe I shouldn’t?)
  11. IIRC, It was actually Ted Kennedy who pardoned (or offered to pardon) Nixon, so something did happen. And ol' Dick responded with some "expletives deleted" and made a crack about Mary Jo 😂
  12. And yet, Teddy was still busted with Mary Jo (I can't spell her last name) down in Palm Beach. Oh well, at least in this history she is still alive.
  13. This. I seem to recall in a previous season Harry checking either his home or office for bugs (and a home is harder to bug undetected than a car that is sitting unattended (and probably out of sight) for long periods of time. IIRC, the guy who did the car was done in under a minute.)
  14. Forgot to mention, Abby, maybe Eleanor
  15. I suspect on such an episode, there would be some familiar faces appearing. Gibbs for sure, given their history, maybe DiNozzo (and Ziva?)
  16. I lived in Gardena, a city in the north part of the South Bay when I lived in Southern California. It was about a 2-hour drive to San Diego (on the 405 and 5 Freeways). This was on a weekend (drove down for a few Padres games). Weekday commute would probably be longer, especially in parts of Orange County (south of Los Angeles County)
  17. I need to rewatch and figure out where in the Hollywood Hills (or maybe even Santa Monica Mountains) that house is. Maybe I can figure out based on the relative positions of the skyscrapers (US Bank building, Aon Tower, the twin buildings that used to say Bank of America, etc)
  18. Could be interesting if that happens. Who do they pair Whistler with? (Lucy is out of the question since they are in a relationship). I would say she would be put with Boone, since he is the senior non-supervisory agent, then Lucy and Kai would partner up.
  19. Not that the writers probably put any thought into it, but I wonder if Trey is merely a nickname. A real-life example from my own life: 50 (!) years ago, my mother was in graduate school at a major university in the Midwest. One of her classmates, who she remains friends with to this day, had two children. The oldest was a boy who was a few years younger than me (I was 14). His name was Melville _______ III (i.e., his father and grandfather apparently were also named Melville). But I guess to avoid confusion when all three generations were together, his nickname was Trey. Fun fact, this Trey now is also a doctor (but an anesthesiologist rather than a surgeon). His father was/is also a doctor, but I don't know what speciality (I never met him as his parents were divorced at that time). So maybe GA Trey is in a similar situation. That would be a weird given name, but you never know...
  20. Yes, he was the Captain for that incident. I don't recall if he was demoted to Lt. in the aftermath, or voluntarily returned to that rank.
  21. I think would have to be promoted to Lt. first before becoming a Captain (I could be wrong) Not sure how it works, but there are already 4 Lts at 19 (Andy, Maya, Sullivan and Ruiz), I don't know if they need a 5th (although if Sullivan leaves, there would be an opening)
  22. Really. Each time you saw the iPhone screen with the red (reject) and green (answer) buttons. All they had to do is push the red button and done (I think it sends the call to voice mail when you do that, so it'spossible that the anti-abortion assholes might leave vile messages, then again they probably might not have the balls to do so). Actually, with my iPhone (13), occasionally I get the red/green buttons on a call, but usually it's the swipe to answer thingie. The latter is annoying when it is a spam call, because you don't want to answer those, even if if you immediately hang up, because then the spammer lowlifes know it is an active number. Better to let it go, the lowlifes don't want to leave a voice mail because that doesn't help them, so they know enough to hang up before the voice mail kicks in, and more than likely, they move on to the next number on their list. Of course, I promptly block them 👹
